Thanks man. You did a video a while ago about how batching knives makes you so much better at all the knife making skills. So when I finished this knife I started a batch of 6 knives.
That was a great knife. And this video was awsome. Ive been wanting to make myself ah knife. And this video showed me i dont need ah whole blacksmiths setup ta do so. Lol. Thank you.
stunning knife , love it. just subscribed. did you use a clamp to grind the plunge line ? and does the quenching oil have to be hot ? (hopefully not , i heard someone say yes it needs to be ?) oh and when can i buy that scribing stencil from ? a lot of questions i know sorry. i will look at your other videos maybe a micarta making one ? and the angle iron jig , kind regards ian uk.
Generally one just a little thicker than the steel or one a little thinner. You want 2 lines that are a bit less than a dime apart. I usually pull the whole set of drill bits out and mark until I get the right bit.
Unfortunately no it's just something I drew up on paper and never uploaded or anything. You can find plenty of templates online. If not and you draw one yourself. Just cut it out of the wood first and make sure it feels decent in the hand before you make the knife. Good luck!
I forgot to mention that I reached 10k subscribers! Thank you so much to everyone that supports the channel!
I loveee the handle on this one babe 😍
Can’t wait for you to make another one so I can steal this one 😂😇

Hey, no problem, man.
I’m getting into knife-making myself, and have some very basic videos of the last two.
çok zarif bir bıçak, güzel çalışma, kutlarım.
teşekkür ederim!
Sweet!
The last knife I made (on my channel) was an EDC with a flat grind.

Those scales are sweet. Do you do any sanding of them or just straight to a finish?
Thank you! and yes i sanded them to about 320 grit
What acid do you use for the acid wash?
Ferric Chloride. there is some linked in the description but i believe it is out of stock. you could see what it looks like though.
🙌
May I ask what drill bit do you use to mark the center line? I assume it's half the thickness of the material?
Generally one just a little thicker than the steel or one a little thinner. You want 2 lines that are a bit less than a dime apart. I usually pull the whole set of drill bits out and mark until I get the right bit.
@@Wengelsworkshop cool, thank you
How are you going to carry it every day?
A kydex sheath. i will post a pic when it is done.
Hello how many tpi is that checkering file?
How many knives have you created in total?
This is only the 8th knife I have made Larry!
👍🏽
Is there a place I can get this same template I really like it
