i dont think he was killing it here, but who am i, he is prolly getting staked hard by better players. there was no finese, no love towards poker and for the most no thought process at all. he is there at the field for traffic as a horse. more horses in mtt, bigger money made every time your team plays one.

You can tell by the way he narrates during these streams that he has range charts memorized, understands all the math and can calculate quickly, and plays a numbers based game quite successfully. So he might not have the "finesse" of negreanu, but he is definitely crushing it here

People don't seem to get that in these events the bounties can be very profitable. You make plays that you wouldn't normally if the profitability of a bounty makes sense. You try to maximize profits and in these tournaments, bounties are a big aspect of it.
