This time we have the Nissan 370z "Boomerang" Z DRL from Morimoto. I show it off with last weeks Switchback Sequential LED DRL from the Profile Pivot lineup.

Would love to see something like this for the 350z
What part of the 350 headlights do you think would be cool to make a part for?
FlyRyde not sure how to describe it but I've seen a cool led DRL design for the 350z. It basically looks like an upside down staple.
But all the ones I've seen look like cheap led tubes just shoved inside the front of the headlight. Kind of like what you described I think lol.
But the tube never forms a sharp, corner like this one, on the inner corner of the headlight. Instead it's a noticeable bend in the tube.
I think it'd be easier to send a pic & show you lol but yeah it'd be great if you guys would be able to make a dope sharp DRL for the 350z

Always great videos, really! Thanks! I am glad you had a specific review on the Morimoto Switchback Z DRL, because I have wanted to ask you about it. I want to use it on my project, but I am not wanting the white surface when it is off on my blacked out lights. I am wanting to go with the Profile SmokeRings on my halos, but is there some tinting option for the Z DRL you would recommend? Have you seen it with the Klearz Smoked Headlight Markers, and is that a good option? Please don't think too low of me, but would a tint spray or film hold up on it?
I think you can get a clear lens that you can smoke - listen to the first 30 seconds again

Does this DRL simply go in place of the oem orange reflector piece? Or is it intended to have a clear reflector/lens lay on top of it? Thanks!
Either / or. The clears are available for this, but they can also be left off and just show the parts raw (but they’re not the prettiest).
I tried looking for for that for my z could not find it anywhere...?
Hey chris. I want to put hid’s in my s14. I will need the chrome housing and all the other light stuff. I see them on ebay but i dont trust mess like that off ebay. Do you have a brand that you suggest. All i saw in your store was hid bulbs.

I am working on some 370 headlights for a customer and I have know idea how to get the clear reflectors, and I need them right a way as I am just about finished with one light that's just about ready to finish this one but am at a stand still till I get a set of them !

The whole thing is flexible or is just where it bends? Because I'm trying to custom fab them to my car.
Just the middle section bends. How are you making them? Sounds cool!
@@flyryde the section for my turn signal is nearly identical to the shape of this product so im going to yk do some slicing and re wiring to work with my blinker and then have them mounted with some epoxy this will prob be my prototype I have another brand new set of headlights if this one doesn't work out

Is the wiring difficult?
And do they turn off when you turn on the headlights?
Jay Rob Zombie 3 wires total. Pretty easy stuff. If you wire power and ground to the parking lights, they’ll come on with both the low beams, and with the dial turned so the low beams are off but parking lights are on. Same as any white Angel Eyes or LED Strips
