- Johnny Manziel confronts Shannon Sharpe for saying playing in the Fan Controlled Football league was sad:
“It is sad Shannon. What you said on that day is exactly right. It is sad to watch a guy who had all the potential in the world, all the opportunity, all the resources and team around him and he still goes, ‘Pffft. F*ck that.’”

"I didn't love the game of football. I was just immensely talented". That's his truth. I'm glad he found it.

As a browns fan…. The fact he talked about letting Joe Thomas down really makes me appreciate Johnny.
Respect to this interview! It’s not easy to address failure sometimes

This shxt made me burst out in tears when he mentioned how he’s tormented by letting down legends like Joe Thomas. Shannon please keep interviewing on this level! Maybe consider dropping the comedian interviews. To hear Manziel open up to you is so awesome. The athlete arena is where you shine the most!💪🏾♥️

As a 22 year old with the mobility and opportunity for my own business this is so good to hear. A huge reminder to respect the moment.
I love Johnny Football… and I love who he has become even more! Respect brother 🫡❤️
I don't even watch football anymore, but Shannon has such a great platform. Always captivating and authentic talk from real people.
Yep, haven’t watched since “they” started kneeling for the anthem. Shannon’s one of the good ones though👍
He has been rich his entire life...he just wasnt hungry enough to be successeful in the NFL...still one of my favorite QB's
I have love and much respect from Johnny M. I was curius to how his life panned out after his fall. He is also a great speaker, and very knowledgeable, so I was impressed. I wish him very well and hope he continues to be good example to the younger men coming out of College or even High School.
Wishing you the best Johnny Manziel 🤗✨️🎇
The thing is people have these high expectations when you’re really good at something when you’re young and you can be completely unaware of that. Completely unaware of others depending on you & looking up to you especially in football at a young age & when you fail that shame/guilt sticks w the individual. I went through it myself & to this day I still feel like I let everyone down cause I didn’t make it to the next level because I didn’t care of enough & wasn’t aware of the situation I was actually in. Props to Johnny for this interview, very insightful.
Profound insights.
its sad that unfortunately we learn from our mistakes later in life Im glad Jhonny has evolved and hopefully this change is sincere
👍🏾Much respect to this man for owning up to his past behavior.
Dude was a BEAST best college quarterback I ever SAW on TV. It’s him then Lamar Jackson those guys were straight magicians in college
Johnny love this interview drinks on the table 😂
Great interview!
You can tell he's Maturing... Because he's seeing/owning his mistakes...and evolving
Its ALOT of players that do not "LOVE" football... and you can tell the difference, they give the bare minimum...
Go do what you really LOVE... DON'T WASTE TIME YOU CAN'T GET BACK!
When you are old enough, theres moments in our lives we all wish we can do over again.
He spoke from his heart ,showed his growth and humanity and owned his Ish!!! Great Interview.Knocked It out the park again Uncle Shay!!!! Thank you Mr Maziel!!!!
You can still go through with it. Nobody's stopping you.

I didn't know much about Johnny Manziel other than the headlines stories, but I definitely think different about him now. Really hope he is doing well and finds inner peace.
Nice conversation
JM was a beast in college. Absolute monster. We all make mistakes. Take the time to learn from yours and others. God is with you.
I watched him in HS when he played for Kerrville Tyvee. His creativity and instincts were stupid good!!!
Shannon is workin'!! Great sit down right here.
Definitely got my respect 💯
Get Tim Tebow on!💯🤔
😅 might be disappointed
@@johnsolo1439 Highly doubt it! Shannon sharpe was kind of a hater of Tebow. Or at least on the “he can’t win long term” side. What Tebow displayed in Philly his last preseason game, showed progress. Still got to wonder why nobody let him lead a team, outside of him being an unorthodox qb. 🤔 He won
@@creationmuse2313 I think it was too much of a risk. He was unorthodox and coaches already have a short leash so you know the first 3 game losing streak the coach would be collecting unemployment checks even though you get a 2-4-year leash with a mid or lower "orthodox" QB even if you only win 4 games a season.
@@creationmuse2313bro he completed 46 percent of his passes lol. Just to be considered average-nothing special you gotta complete at LEAST 60
@@lornegreen6755 So did Elway when he first played in the NFL(47%)! 4-12 the season before he became a starter. He got put in during the start of a losing season, only to end up winning a playoff game. Breaking a playoff pass record. Not Tebow’s fault they put him in a run, run, pass offense. Hard to get in rhythm like that. Regardless, he did well in his last preseason game in Philly. I could make a list of qb’s he should have been starting over since he entered the league. The Denver qb(Kyle orton) is 1 that he did start over, only because they thought the 2011 season was going to be a wash, just like their 2010 season was!💯
Such a refreshing interview. Take accountability no matter how popular or Unpopular Your truth is.
The truth*

I have no idea who this man is but I’m watching anyway cause I love this show so much, Shannon is amazing at this ❤❤❤❤❤
Former college football sensation + nfl player
I know at a very shallow level but not sure why he “fell”. What I do know is that he is head and shoulders above most people in self awareness and responsibility.
Man I felt when he wanted to cry about Joe Thomas.
I appreciate his honesty, but honesty doesn't make what he did right. I just hope the younger generations see that. Find something you can work at and have pride in.
Crazy how I’m playing his AkA on madden and this pops up
Rooting for Johnny
The new studio is mental!
Growth!! Love it. Wish he would’ve done it earlier because he did have college football in a choke hold
I felt the same way. Try-athlete, killed in all 3 , baseball basketball, quarterbacked varsity sophomore year, threw for more yards my first game then our high school did in 10 years ,… I just didn’t enjoy playing .
I’m proud of this guy
I can see the difference Johnny is showing and the growth as a man he has become..bravo Johnny ❤
God bless.
🙏🏽 🙏🏽
Man that 2nd FCF season was so much fun, I hope they bring it back. I remember Manziel cussing out the refs 😂
Some people are not in it for the money and the fame🙏
Dude is for real sorry and knows what he let slip through his fingers: A life most of us can only dream. But man, it takes a man, to standup and say “hey, I messed up big, I’m sorry, let me prove it to you I’ve changed”.
Run for office one day Mr. Manziel. You’ve got the charisma and perspective. Destined for great things.
It seems he has alot of regrets hopefully he can find peace.
I have respect for him now
The fact you acknowledge Joe Thomas… dude im no where near associated with Cleveland of any kind and that brought me to tears. Genuine closer as a fan
This was better than the Documentary
Glad to see you getting back to athletes instead of messy comedian drama. I enjoyed this one
Hope Johnny is good it isnt easy to take this level of accountability
