      @@RyanSampsonRPh So true. It's not the size of the garage it's the size of your heart that you put into this project. Anyway I do hope that you do another one after this. Maybe a old RS to go with this car. I love the old RS Camaro cars. Somehow the new muscle cars just don't have that certain something that the older cars had. Make no mistake the new cars is beautiful but it lacks the simplicity with the raw muscle the old cars had. I think there is too much extras on the new cars like screens where you can choose which mode you want to drive in. Back in the day there was only one mode and that was muscle mode. No launch control etc. I think you know what I mean. I almost thought they got it right again with the Demon but then they added all the bells and whistles and somehow spoiled that old muscle feel with it

    Your car is in exceptional condition for a 1973. That's a really good find.
    I restored an '80 Malibu 10 years ago, and the interior panels, seat covers, dash pad, headliner, etc., all had to be replaced.
    Finding an older car that you like and has good restoration potential is not easy.
    You're using good techniques/methods to preserve this car for years to come.

  • @shadvan9494
    @shadvan9494 3 роки тому +1

    Hey Ryan. I was watching this and I noticed your car is missing the window blow out tabs. They help hold the window to weather stripping at the roof line, and keep the window from pulling away from the weather strip above 25mph. The are made of a spring steel with a rubber coating. Just a tad bit of info. They made 2 different style door handles. The first first type are the long style. They were used until 1974. the second is the short style that were used from. 75-81. A lot of other gm cars also used this style of handle, but the unlocking mechanisms are different. The OER units are decent. They are actually an improvement over the factory handles. I hunted a long time for a pair of NOS handles for my 71 SS396 only to discover the chrome was better on my OER handles. fbodywarehouse.com/store/Camaro-1970-1971-1972-1973/weatherseals-weather-seal-kits/1970-1981-camaro-trans-am-weather-seal-channel-blow-out-tabs-with-install-video-.html
