My GF started selling Arbonne 2 years ago. I've tried being supportive and buying some products which are actually delightful. However the demand of all of her time and energy eventually lead to our break up after 9 years. It really is like a cult and once she was looped in with all the "love and support" of her upline and team she had no time and energy for our relationship. We were once best friends but she slowly shut me out over time as her team kept reinforcing to keep grinding and reaching out to SO MANY PEOPLE and with such positivity and inspiring stories she wanted to keep believing great things are just beyond the horizon. I felt completely replaced as she become closer to her team than she was with me. I was crushed when we broke up but after seeing this im thinking it was probably for the best. Thank you!!
Sorry to read this and I'll bet that these kind of experiences felt by the partners of Huns are tip of the iceberg (or perhaps more accurately, the pyramid) with regards to the toxic ripple effect felt by others around them. One of my Facebook friends (who I've admittedly not seen in many years) joined Arbonne towards the end of 2020 and to say that there has been a big change in the frequency and content of her posts would be an understatement. Endless, cringey 'Fabulous Me' statements, pictures of her grinning inanely whilst holding a glass of something ever-so-healthy, videos announcing a search for 'business partners'... I hold out hope that these eventually, without any grand explanation just stop and indicate she has quietly seen sense.
my aunt is in the top 1% of this company which is so cool for her; she gets paid vacations, genuinely is filthy rich, and she’s been in the car program for over five years HOWEVER she literally has zero deep and meaningful relationships, her kids are distant with her bc she used them for marketing, my uncle considers her to mostly be a roommate, at family gatherings she pitches products and tried to recruit us, and i’ve never seen her taking a break to just be content and in the moment :( it’s sad to see bc on the surface level and within the mlm she’s basically a goddess but her life seems really hollow once you spend a bit of time with her
I was in insurance and absolutely genuinely believed in my product. I loved offering deals and even had my 2 best friends hired. I got nothing for that. So you could be wrong.
Just checked this out after having a meeting with one of their reps trying to get me join on. I was not sold and you have made me happy with my decision
thereare so many fake commets by them going back and fourth. Some saying they just join for discount on the great products. manipulative! Its engagement though!
Thank you Hannah for sharing TRUTH.. I got talked into and I'm about to send all of it BACK... I've spent almost $800 + so far and nothing has come of it and the skincare is a "one size fits all" which is crazy.. we all have different skin needs you can't address them all w/ one product. so glad I watched this .. it' made my decision much easier
I’ve been an esthetician for over 20 years and I 100% agree with you about one size skin care. Every skin is different and my clients get educated about products and more importantly ingredients. Some things can be contradictory to certain types of skin types or conditions. Some people may have dehydrated skin, but they just assume they have dry skin. Sometimes it’s necessary to treat different areas on the face independently because they have completely different needs
I'm super anti MLM but I have to say that Arbonne used to have the best skincare I've ever used and I've tried it all! I say "used to" because they "improved" the formula of the RE9 series, and it is sh*t. My daughter, who's in her twenties, got me into it when I saw that her skin was clear of acne and fine lines. We used the same line and the improvement in my skin was remarkable. They had several skincare series at the time, so they must have merged them into one since? The consultant tried hard to put me in her downline. I felt kinda bad for her. Glad I won't be spending another dime on that stuff.
I didn’t take the time to watch this video but the comments caught my eye and seem to prove lack of education. Firstly, you do NOT have to spend money on products you’re not using for yourself in order to have an Arbonne business. Secondly, not sure if you’ve strayed from the catalog for the last half decade but there are many skincare options. Arbonne actually educates their consultants and clients on what line to use for the skin type you are and benefits you’re looking for. Lastly, as far as “staying in their lane” and being “legit”, that’s Arbonne. Transparent since day 1 in 1980, core values never changing, and always making more efforts towards sustainability and being good FOR the earth. You’re right, it’s nothing like those makeup companies on the retail shelves, thank goodness! ❤
I would find it odd if Maybelline would come out with their own line of energy drinks. They wouldn’t because they stay in their own lane and are a legit company
I actually have a "free car" in my work. It is a cheap Fiat, not Mercedes, but on the other hand, I don't pay for it. Period. My employer pays for the loan, but also for insurance, as well as all repairs. Heck, I even get money for gas, if I have to do business trips. They even asked me what colour I prefer. But I don't work for an mlm, so I guess I missed the opportunity 🤷🏼♀️
Whoa! I thought it was just me with that icky guilt feeling for being skeptical. Thank you for validating what I was thinking and feeling. I lost 2 hours of my life last night sitting through a zoom call, listening to an acquaintance tout the product line, share love and wellness messages, promises of exotic trips and cars… She is a lovely person and I respect her choice to go the Arbonne route. I’ll stick to my heathen ways and enjoy my 🍷
Ugghh. Same. I once lost almost an hr to a friend & one who I would find out was her "upline". Under the guise of "I'm starting my own business". And doing a FB Live to show off her new business. Had never heard of Arbonne before that. But within a few min of this FB Live, I was definitely getting "this is an MLM" vibes
I used to work with a girl who works for Arbonne now...or maybe she has stopped as she hasn't posted any of the toxic positivy posts for some time. It seems they sucked her in during the pandemic and she fell for them. Your descriptiom of what the reps have to do fits her so perfectly. She has called herself a CEO at least once since then and I can see how much she has changed. I am just hoping she has left and is recovering ..4 years is a long time. It is so sad. Thank you for your content, it is super informative!
You wouldn't believe the amount of angry people I get on my anti-MLM videos strictly regarding the fact that I "only point out the negative"... Like, did you even read the title??
In my local recovery group (AA) one of the women is an Arbonne distributor and she is out of her mind. Preyed upon all of the women in the group (which is a big no no). Out of her mind.
Ugh that’s terrible! It’s really unfortunate when they pray on people within their safe spaces and social groups like within a workplace, at AA, at church, etc.
My niece has sold Arbonne for years so I have tried a few of the products. I really like the kids’ sunscreen for my husband, he has sensitive skin. I agree with you they are all tremendously overpriced! That is the only product I would rebuy because if it gets him to wear sunscreen it’s worth it.
Hi! I know your comment was 8 months ago but sunny season is coming. Not sure what he reacts to but i also have sensitive skin and I'm especially allergic to certain fragrances, like i get second degree burns. I personally like Super Goop, the Ordinary, and CeraVe. I've never reacted to any of the sunscreen they produce.
I can second the comment below- my skin is so sensitive that I react to my own sweat 😅 I use the supergoop mineral unseen sunscreen and it's phenomenal. Cera ve is also incredible. That way you're not supporting an MLM and hopefully still getting an amazing product. Hope these work for you!! ❤
The Mercedes perk has a hidden agenda.. you have to lease the car under your name and if for whatever reason you lose your status they stop giving you a monthly payment and you're stuck with the payments. Horror stories of people having their car repossessed...
Definitely! I think it’s also a classic MLM tactic of creating the illusion of wealth and luxury for the consultants. Then people see that and want to be like them. It’s a recruiting tactic and it is so messed up!
I lost a longtime close friend to Arbonne. She kept trying to sell products to me and my daughter, even when my daughter was sick with cancer. We haven't spoken in years.
My current FAVE mlm’er debunker! Love your personality, your attitude, the presentation, everything!!! And I’m going through a hard time now and binge wanting your mlm videos ohhh been so fucking helpful! Btw I watched through the ad for you while writing this comment 🤣
My family member who’s been with the company for over 12 years has never gotten above the 3rd level of rep, even though she’s worked her butt off. She’s a genuinely caring and ethical person, so I don’t think she (thankfully) has what it takes to go far in an MLM. But I feel for her with all the work she’s put into it. Some of the products I’ve tried are good, but not for the money, even with her discount.
It's the ethical part that's the problem. I truly believe you have to sacrifice your ethics to rank up to the top because the way to truly get as many people signed up is to take advantage of desperate and vulnerable people. Even if I wanted to, I could never do an MLM cos I'd be like "nah actually you're probably better off saving that money because you only have an under 1% chance of achieving the dream I'm selling you, and a 99% chance of losing money. Still wanna join? Pls don't 🙃"
I joined arbonne years ago as thought it sounded fun, however the constant pressure to recruit sucked all of that out of it. I also felt I was being asked to change my personality to fit the brand. I’m a sarcastic Brit who swears too much and I was told I couldn’t post anything on social media that wasn’t like ‘wholesome’…. Basically no funny memes or piss taking of any kind. After that I was like nope this ain’t for me! I did like some of the products, however I’ve found products that give the same results that are no where near the price. Also, the make up is awful! Cakey, doesn’t blend well and would constantly go off all the time.
Any friend or family member that has joined an MLM definitely seems to have a differently personality when they’re posting about it on social media… it’s got to be exhausting trying to keep up a very specific persona all the time
@@kayakgirl3771 I personally thought they were awful 😂. I would just suggest a multivitamin or herbals tea to get all the things that are in it and at a fraction of the price. Also they have the weird statement that the caffeine in them is ‘naturally derived’ but the caffeine in coffee is also naturally derived so idk what that even means. So basically you can just drink coffee or breakfast tea, both have caffeine.
@@kayakgirl3771 True Lemon stevia sweetened green tea sticks are really similar. Walmart, Winn Dixie carries it for a few bucks and I only use half a stick each time I use it
I know someone who does arbonne, she is the regional manager and made it sound like the company bought her the car. She was posting all about how she couldn't decide what color g wagon she wanted, but came back with a Cadillac..now that you explain the program that is so wild. She posts that sticker on her window alllll the time. She manages a local coffee shop and hands out arbonne samples to customers for free and then posts nearly everyday her getting a new customer. She goes on all these trips, domestic and international, brining her boyfriend or a friend. I swear every post has to do with arbonne and how its the best decision she's ever made. Even getting a nutrition certification to 'prove' that she's selling the best products you can find. I always got a bad feeling about the company and her posts seemed off to me cause she's always boasting how good of an impact she's making on the community through 'her business'.
LANCOME, MAC / ESTEE LAUDER have TOXIS ingredients in their products, but you can keep giving out your money to the system, to those giants, to the OLIGOPOLY of skincare and makeup.
MLMs make me LOL. Every time! Reps with no legit marketing experience, suddenly identify themselves as marketing experts. Or at least hail to their illustrious next level up leader as some kind of marketing expert. I've actually attended a couple of these "info sessions" pre-pandemic to a) provide moral support for a friend and b) get me some reality show type entertainment. Aside from the financial scam they all get sucked into, the other thing I find super gross and scary is the psychological imprint they make on these reps. Like you said, it's predatory. A friend of mine who was (maybe still is) an Arbonne rep, tried to get me to buy the first kit, to which I told her that I don't think it's worth my time or money. To which her FIRST response was: Do you trust me? ....Ya. That's when you know how strong their psych ops game is. (cue the horror film music)
This really fascinated me. A few years ago the skincare clinic I went to upsold me some Arbonne peoducts for gut health etc. Since they were professionals I trusted them and went ahead with buying the product. Eventually I stopped going to the clinic because they kept trying to upsell me things and today I found out that the product they sold me is related to an MLM. Feeling very odd and kinda taken advantage of? But I am glad I learned this!
We should have a like reminder. Especially after binging the whole video. I always have to circle back after I watch to remember to support this awesome channel.
So. I was with Arbonne for a few months - straight up cult when you look at the convention. It was enforced A LOT - but not an obligation - to buy 2500$ CA of products when you sign on. Because the model was: we give you a pouch of products for a few days so you try them before returning and listening to our sell/recruiting pitch. And because there are 3 levels of prices (retail, vip clients and rep), a lot of people join just for the lowest price. Which is not happening at doTerra (in which I was for almost 2 years, before I realized how much all of the MLMs were cultish scams.
@@aliciawilliams6068 because to make real money, it’s all about hoping on early enough, at the lunch of the company. And the only way to make more money than you will inevitably spend each month is to recruit new reps - which is one of the things that make an industry an illegal pyramid scheme /mlm.
Oh I'm so glad you mentioned the cultish aspect of the conventions! Years ago I attended an Amway convention with a friend, having no idea what I was getting myself into. All I wanted was a trip to Atlanta. Cut to me, sitting embarrassed as hundreds of GROWN people chanted and shouted "I'm excited how bout YOU?" back and forth across a room.
Few years ago, I lost about one thousand dollars with this company. Thank you for your advice, you can help a lot of people. People have to know, This is a big scam.
All of the comments trying to support MLMs are fascinating. Almost none of them present any sort of rational (let alone compelling) argument, but still fascinating :P
I just did this 7 day cleanse and I am seriously regretting it! Doctor visit for me tomorrow. One of the top people told my consultant “some people just aren’t ready to change their lives” seems pushy and inauthentic.
I was recently sucked into an MLM and I was super upset when my mum wouldn't support me. Fast forward a few weeks, I found your videos and left my MLM (valentus) but came home to find my mum has been purchasing Arbonne from her friends which is why she couldn't support me 🤣🤣
I don’t know if anyone mentioned this in the comments, but Arbonne did have supplements/vitamins for kids a while ago. My mom sold Arbonne throughout my childhood and me and my siblings were raised on all the products. I remember having to eat chewable vitamins and drink a dissolvable vitamin/supplement drink every morning as a kid. They were SO nasty me and my sister would sometimes pretend to drink them but then sneak off and dump them outside 😂
I have a friend who sells Arbonne. After my own stint in MLMs, I won't join anymore to build a business. She showed me the compensation plan and gave me the pitch once and I wasn't interested. However, I do like some of their products and purchase them on an annual basis. Even with the PC discount and special deals, I find it too pricey to purchase many of their products and I have learned which ones are my favorites (kids sunscreen for one) and which ones (toner) that I can just refill with witch hazel and be happy.
I still use arbonne products because I do like them and I have a ton cause I lived at home and had disposable income. I should send you my experience- idk if it’s a horror story but it’s a story. Only thing I’d push back on are the ingredients in Arbonne excluding things that a lot of makeup brands don’t. I know for me that was a huge selling point. But I definitely agree that the whole pyramid thing sucks and you can get easily roped into thinking you will be at the top one day lol
I was an Arbonne consultant because I did enjoy the products … I always thought the Mercedes was a joke, and there are better ways to make money..wow! I made a bit more; but I spent it back on products lol ( same thing happened when I worked at Victoria’s Secret ( also I never tried to recruit)
Please advise, new Arbonne consultant here, was skeptical at the beginning but decided to dive in and go for it. Im feeling pressured to tell people who arent interested in the products let alone becoming a consultant too. Im due a meeting with an area manager and someone else next week and i am expected to give at least 5 potentials for buying products or joining. I paid £30 to join for the year and now i am having anxiety and second thoughts. What do i do now? Thanks
I would advise you get out as soon as possible. The vast majority of consultants lose money, and the only viable way to actually make money is to recruit people. If you are feeling uncomfortable with recruiting people, you simply do not have any chance at making money. Please get out before you lose a lot more money than that 30 pounds.
@@rekipstar thank you for taking the time to reply to my comment. I got out, got my refund for a product and my £30 yearly fee. Ive not looked back since, however, my line manager has been bombarding me with messages about great deals. I had to block her. Thanks for your video once again and for spreading the word.
Hi Hannah, love all your videos 🤍 I would love to see a video comparing and contrasting the sometimes MLM-esque aspects of Poshmark itself. When I first started out, I had to research to make sure I wasn't myself entering into an MLM "boss babe" machine because on that platform specifically there are a lot of people exhibiting behaviors that are eerily similar to MLM reps. I thought you would be the perfect person to do an informative video like that, if that seems interesting to you, of course.
I’d be interested to know what is the ratio of people who have had to give up their car because they couldn’t make the payments. Because they couldn’t keep rank.
Why on earth anyone would join an MLM in this day and age with the plethora of evidence proving the business model only supports the top tier is beyond me. The huns on here in the comments are trying so hard to defend the product when it's not the product that doesn't work ( for some?) It's the business model itself but they can't or won't see that. I wish them all well and hope they don't lose everything due to a business that isn't looking out for their best interest.
It's late, but i just wanted to say that my good friend was in arbonne, really sweet girl, but she was willing to lend me CAD 200+ for me to sign up, because she sincerely believed in the company. (I had a fracture on my foot and i was on leave from work for at least 3 mos so I had no extra money.) I was wondering what was going through her head. I bought a few things of makeup to support my friend. Though that maybe not helping her at all. BTW this happened pre-covid.
I remember an Arbonne rep trying to sell her stuff in my old office’s lunch room. She just stood behind her stall, awkwardly smiling, wearing a suit (in an office with no formal dress code), and she didn’t say a word to anyone (that I saw). It was just weird!
I almost fell for it... I was watching a girl on TikTok recently talking about cutting out sugars and how she feels so much better ever since she cut out sugars; she said at the end of the video to check the link in her bio to learn more about what she did for her gut health... I clicked and it took me to her Arbonne page... $245 for products that are supposed to help you? Nope.. not for me
I cleaned up my diet too, but Im broke as a joke, so I cant buy scammy products and stuff. I just shifted my diet to include lots of produce, yogurt, local honey, etc etc. And boy did it help my guts! Point is, you're RIGHT - getting healthy doesn't cost $245 in supplements. But that $245 can sure buy a lot of healthy food! (edited cause I can't spell lmao)
My fiancé is a salesman at Cadillac. They bring in the pink Mary Kay Cadillacs for the top sellers of Mary Kay. The powdery pink paint color is SO CUTE but not enough to work for Mary Kay noooo thanks. The lady I met there at the dealership tried recruiting me for Mary Kay already I only met her once and she’s texted me a handful of times
I’m super glad to live in the UK (not a sentence I thought I’d write) because MLMs aren’t really that big here. Sure, some of the common ones exist, like Avon or Arbonne or Younique, but you barely ever hear anything about them! I think the lack of a solid MLM culture here speaks to our generally more reserved approach to interacting with others and the fact that we don’t grow up with religion pushed upon us in the same evangelical ways that are common in the USA. We keep ourselves to ourselves, and that’s not to say we’re cold or antisocial - we’re just a lot less likely to believe someone making bold claims. I cannot imagine living in a place where every other person is in some kind of MLM! It’s insane to me!
True, same here in Germany. I do get some invites/try to get recruited...but it was like 1 Tupperware Party, 1 recruiting try and 1 Party for ringana, which I'm not even sure if it's an MLM They were in the last 3 YEARS 🤷🏼♀️
Same in Poland! I honestly thought most of them weren't even present here until a few months ago, when a new "social integration center" was opened in my tiny town. It's maintained by the local library and since it can't be used for any commercual activity for another four years or so, and thus can't serve as a proper coffee shop (what everyone was kinda counting on), it's been used mainly for "wellness events", i.e. various MLM pitches... 🙄 I'd never have guessed we have an arbonne rep here, in this community of 2500 people, but apparently we do 🙃
I hate the car thing. There is a top hun in our area who has had a large following since way before she joined. Her husband is a musician and she’s friends with celebs. She’s driven a G Wagon since at least 2016… 2020 happens, she joins arbonne and switches to a white car and all of a sudden she owes her entire life to arbonne. So annoying. I also like to point out that she grew up in a wealthy family and then married a wealthy man.. I’m not discrediting her hard work in other parts of her life, but she’s never not had money to “take the chance” and “go all in”
@@blessedstar809 Jackie... AJ is my husband. He was making a joke. But I have had several other people reach out to me letting me know that my deep dives into different MLM companies have prevented them from joining or caused them to leave, which I am very proud of.
My niece qualified and took advantage of the car program. Less than a year later, she's a personal trainer I don't personally know if she fell out of rank, I'm sure she wouldn't want to talk about it. But, no, it's definitely not her full time job.
I'm hoping you already have Juice Plus, Amway, Herbalife, Send Out Card (who seem to change their compensation plans once a year) and Enagic listed eventually !
When I was 18 years old I almost joined arbonne. I was at a picnic and saw a lady selling those products. She had a raffle. The prize was win $50 in a gift card. I signed up and a few days I get a call from her saying that I won. I ordered my product and meet her again in person. I almost signed up under her. Thank the lord I didn't🙌🙌🙏🙏🙏.It took soo long to get my product. She would always make excuses on why she can't send me the products in the mail. I got soo mad and emailed customer service and told them what happened. I told her what I did she sent me my products in the mail. They were expired already. I never ever talked to her again. I am 30 years old now. I thank the good lord 🙏 that I never joined this company. She tried to used the fact that you can earn a Mercedes if you join arbonne and work hard to get me to sign up. I did not know all the hidden expenses and fees that came with it.
I legit just spent $47 on my Too Faced Born This Way foundation because i've used it before and it WORKS. If i'm going to spend that much money on a foundation, i'll take something that's not being sold to me on the hopes making a sale!
Have you ever done a deep dive on Pampered Chef? They work similarly; their products are actually alright but it comes off as very MLM red flag type of content
They have two members from the 2000 girl group Dream Ashley and Melissa as consultants. Ashley seems to be so passionate about this company. I also believe she did the car thing as well .
I got a killer rate on my Lexus but I put 6k down and my payment is still 660 and I have to use supreme gas. At least my insurance went down. Lol. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE my car and no MLM is/was involved.
Thank you Hannah for this! I have been in Arbonne for years. Yes at the beginning i drank the kool-aid and believed i can one day earn that car... I'm no where near that. And to be honest, it doesn’t interest me. I joined bc of the skincare when the re9 was out and was actually one I loved. I often would get breakout with various other products. But they kept pushing more the health products like the shakes, and I not a fanu of any protein shakes. I still sell it but that's cause I have a few customers who like specific products and I'm fine with that. Ive been watching a bunch of uour videos and im cringing bc ive heard all these things and other companies say. I say if people like the products, use yhe products, great. But I'm not the type to lie and say it's changing my life financially. Soo scammy. Thank you for the laughs!!! I am enjoying this content.
The funniest part of the whole Mercedes car program is that the highest monthly payment Arbonne gives you will barely cover the Service B maintenance cost.
Oh the free car BS. Many jobs in IT give their employees access to company cars. Company I work for is not really in IT but similar enough. I got a company car on my first day, obviously car isn’t mine but I get to use it as I please with respect towards the traffic rules. I didn’t have to take out any loans, I don’t have pay any insurance or maintenance. Also I get a fuel card from work so also that expense is taken care of. Now let’s compare it any MLM and their free cars. They only get an opportunity to go into debt by buying car that I can’t really choose, sometimes it also has to have the logo of the company, they pay for everything on their own and they only get a small cash bonus to put towards the car payment. Doesn’t sound like a free car to me. 🙄
My mom joined arbonne way back when, and she only bought the products for herself. She became a rep just for the discount and I think her up line quit because she wasn’t harassed about recruiting or anything after 4 years. She only stopped last year when she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I do think with all the money issues my parents had when I was younger had to do with arbonne and a couple of the other MLMs my mom was sucked into.
My gosh I could make $108 in a short night doing catering serving. Definitely doesn’t seem worth it. I have been invited to several parties and declined each time.
I do like the Arbonne products but I do not sell them to anyone. I joined to get the discount but 310 Nutrition IS NOT a MLM and their products are looking great!!!
Me too. I've lost 20 menopausal pounds last year because of Arbonne. I ran out of product during my busy season and gained back 12 pounds. Back on Arbonne now, and already lost 2 of the 12 in 2 weeks. Not bad for a 58 year old who hasn't had time for her exercise routine!!
Do they actually say to have the car buying get together AT the dealership? Hahahah I wouldn’t be surprised if Arbonne was getting kickbacks from Mercedes for having their consultants have these get togethers and get more people in the door seeing their cars, and if they are, it isn’t even Arbonne paying that portion of your car payment it would be Mercedes’ at that point. Then when you don’t make your sales they just get to keep the money they would have sent the consultant. So even when the consultant fails they gain, the money the consultant doesn’t bring in is partially replenished by the car payment they wouldn’t cover and the consultant is double screwed for not making their normal commission and having to pay extra for their car.
Hi, do you know of any other market businesses that we can get into and sell. Maybe you will do a video on businesses you would recommend us ladies to sell. I know i'm a little late.
I know someone high up enough in arbonne to have a "company car" 😆 thank God she hasn't asked me to join, but she did give me a full set of Arbonne baby skincare when I was pregnant. No complaints with the products but I certainly wouldn't pay those prices OR join an MLM to get them.
i was a rep when they were just branching into supplements and they had this "detox" drink that was honestly just a laxative. At some point I'll get around to sending in my story
There’s a lady who lives near me who does Arbonne, although as of now it’s not very prominent on her Instagram profile so maybe she’s taken a step back now. Anyway, I remember during COVID how sad she was she couldn’t go to the conference in Las Vegas (for context we’re in the UK!). Was it done over zoom in 2020? I remember her and her husband getting dressed up and sitting in front of their laptop at home 😅
I feel like someone could be deficient in something, get suckered into AB and try a product then see results…maybe they just needed some omega 3’s but they’re definitely paying with prices like that. Also, I see the popular girls from high school doing AB I think it’s kind of funny lol!
Can someone point me in the direction of some good articles and studies on efficacy or inefficacy of Arbonne products. Some is recommending their supplements on a FB holistic group and I really want to shut them down… 🙃
My friend and her dad worked for Arbonne skin care (corporate, not MLM). My friend gave me tons of products for free, and I thought they were pretty good. I was surprised that I never heard of or tried their product. Even more surprised to find out it's an MLM.
Thank you!!
I am so sorry you went through this. 😞

It sucks that Arbonne destroyed your relationship! :(
What I don't understand is how these people don't realize what is happening to their relationships until its too late.
Oh wow - that’s so sad :( I’m really sorry
my aunt is in the top 1% of this company which is so cool for her; she gets paid vacations, genuinely is filthy rich, and she’s been in the car program for over five years HOWEVER she literally has zero deep and meaningful relationships, her kids are distant with her bc she used them for marketing, my uncle considers her to mostly be a roommate, at family gatherings she pitches products and tried to recruit us, and i’ve never seen her taking a break to just be content and in the moment :( it’s sad to see bc on the surface level and within the mlm she’s basically a goddess but her life seems really hollow once you spend a bit of time with her
Shes likely not as rich as she portrays....most of them are like that
Is her name kelly? They seem all the same.
I HIGLY doubt the rich part...the distanced relationships, yes.
All of her money is blood money that she scammed out of others below her. That’s gross and definitely not cool.
This is wonderful! Thank you for letting me know! ❤️
Same here, literally got off the phone a few hours ago and I'm glad I didn't spend money I'd never end up getting back realistically

@@talibombification just curious, what incentive do you believe Hannah would have in discouraging people from joining Arbonne?
@@talibombification I wish I had seen these videos first and been scared away from trying to build that “oily biz.” What a waste of money..
You’re not sharing “the bad side” you’re sharing the truth. If the truth is bad, that’s on the MLM.
"If it can be destroyed by the truth, it deserves to be destroyed."

All the Arbonne huns in here saying these are “opinions” giiiirl these are facts from THE WEBSITE 😂 love you Hannah!
Yeah I’m like… show me what I said that wasn’t factual? 😂
thereare so many fake commets by them going back and fourth.
So happy I could help!!
@@rebeccamclaughlin2594horrible company
I would find it odd if Maybelline would come out with their own line of energy drinks. They wouldn’t because they stay in their own lane and are a legit company
I would no longer feel confident in their Mascara if they did that 😂
I actually have a "free car" in my work.
As a teen (I’m 44!) huns used to try to rope you in at parties, and with newspaper ads.
With social media, things have gone crazy!
Absolutely agree! Social media adds a whole new level to MLM!
I just turned this on and already I am laughing at the fact you have to explain what ANTI means. Okay back to the show!
That is super disturbing. I’m sorry she ignored every principle and made your recovery space unsafe. 🤮
Omg. I hope she was asked to leave.
That is sad.
My current FAVE mlm’er debunker! Love your personality, your attitude, the presentation, everything!!! And I’m going through a hard time now and binge wanting your mlm videos ohhh been so fucking helpful!
Btw I watched through the ad for you while writing this comment 🤣
I'll watch through the ads for creators I like, too! She IS so good, and funny too.
Any friend or family member that has joined an MLM definitely seems to have a differently personality when they’re posting about it on social media… it’s got to be exhausting trying to keep up a very specific persona all the time
Do you know a product that’s similar to the fizz sticks ? I won’t spend the money they want for them .

Is this my friend haha
They're all the same 😂
I love how you mentioned that you buy products from a well known cosmetic companies. You are spot on with that comparison.🌸💖🌸
LANCOME, MAC / ESTEE LAUDER have TOXIS ingredients in their products, but you can keep giving out your money to the system, to those giants, to the OLIGOPOLY of skincare and makeup.
I appreciate that you show how unhelpful the starter packs are.
Oh! I am HERE for this! Arbonne felt like such a CULT!
Oh my gosh “do you trust me” that’s so predatory!!
@@HannahAlonzo Right??? I bet they drill that kind of language into their heads. So bad!
"But you do get 35% off the products. so, that's good because you're going to need it."- I AM DEAD
Not only is Arbonne itself an endless money pit, but the Mercedes you get and earn payments for is also an endless money pit.
Question, how is it a scam if you are earning money from your sales?
I'm so sorry to hear that! But also happy to hear that you've since left the company!
All of the comments trying to support MLMs are fascinating. Almost none of them present any sort of rational (let alone compelling) argument, but still fascinating :P
Above everything else, being contractually obligated to throw a car party at a dealership would make me never ever want an Arbonne car.
Fast forward a few weeks, I found your videos and left my MLM (valentus) but came home to find my mum has been purchasing Arbonne from her friends which is why she couldn't support me 🤣🤣
Dang mom, that’s kind of a slap in the face 😂
I don’t know if anyone mentioned this in the comments, but Arbonne did have supplements/vitamins for kids a while ago. My mom sold Arbonne throughout my childhood and me and my siblings were raised on all the products. I remember having to eat chewable vitamins and drink a dissolvable vitamin/supplement drink every morning as a kid. They were SO nasty me and my sister would sometimes pretend to drink them but then sneak off and dump them outside 😂
$500 down payment and $200/month towards the payment for a luxury car (Mercedes) is ridiculous. It’s not even covering half.
Upwards to $800 a month actually is what you can achieve…my Mercedes car payment is right around $400. BUT…so is most newer car payments.
It makes me laugh that all the ads I saw with this video were trying to convince me to start my own "business" selling on amazon...
When you have ads on your videos you cannot choose them!!
I was an Arbonne consultant because I did enjoy the products … I always thought the Mercedes was a joke, and there are better ways to make money..wow! I made a bit more; but I spent it back on products lol ( same thing happened when I worked at Victoria’s Secret ( also I never tried to recruit)
Never subscribed so fast!! Take those MLM’s down!

I would advise you get out as soon as possible. The vast majority of consultants lose money, and the only viable way to actually make money is to recruit people. If you are feeling uncomfortable with recruiting people, you simply do not have any chance at making money. Please get out before you lose a lot more money than that 30 pounds.

That is so true.
Nope.. not for me
And their overpriced protein powder that they drink on their “30 days to healthy living” (where they cut out sugar) has 1.5 tsp sugar per serving 🙄

Right?? Even if I were eligible, I would still just go buy a car all on my own with no strings attached!
I was wondering if you would cover this brand..my neighbor sells it.
I'm sorry to hear your Mum was sucked in.
My gosh I could make $108 in a short night doing catering serving. Definitely doesn’t seem worth it. I have been invited to several parties and declined each time.
So many other ways to make money! $108 a year most likely doesn’t even cover the cost of the products!
my grandma works with arbonne im not sure if she still does but the products arent that bad
I always wondered this because like the Plexus Lexus, I'm wondering if Lexus gives Plexus a cut or something
The disclaimer "these results is not typical" are required by law, so Arbonne does not deserve credit for adding the disclaimer.
Soo many salty huns in the comments. At my last job this young lady tried to sell it to all the coworkers. Drove me nuts
i was a rep when they were just branching into supplements and they had this "detox" drink that was honestly just a laxative. At some point I'll get around to sending in my story
I just did this 7 day cleanse and I’m so regretting it. Doctor visit for me tomorrow. 😭
I think the car thing is funny. I get a $800 a month truck allowance as do most project managers. I imagine us all celebrating our trucks 😂
If your title includes "Vice President" I would assume you have a role in running the company.
No!!!
the craziest part to me is sellers think they are "recruiting" people when really they're just finding more customers for arbonne!!!
I feel like someone could be deficient in something, get suckered into AB and try a product then see results…maybe they just needed some omega 3’s but they’re definitely paying with prices like that.
Also, I see the popular girls from high school doing AB I think it’s kind of funny lol!
The popular girls from my highschool are selling Thrive/ Level!!
Can you please do an Isagenix deep dive?
Can someone point me in the direction of some good articles and studies on efficacy or inefficacy of Arbonne products. Some is recommending their supplements on a FB holistic group and I really want to shut them down… 🙃
My friend and her dad worked for Arbonne skin care (corporate, not MLM). My friend gave me tons of products for free, and I thought they were pretty good. I was surprised that I never heard of or tried their product. Even more surprised to find out it's an MLM.
I wash my sphynx cats with Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo.
