I see two issues.. could be dealbreakers - the hard scratchy plastics on the dash and doors .. not expected from a $40k car. The gas mileage isn’t quite good either. It’s on the higher side for a turbo petrol as all that low down torque should reduce gear shifts in traffic and save fuel
Pity the interior is full of hard scratchy plastics and is much less premium feeling than the Golf 7 it’s based on. However according to the first reviews no different to the new I.D. Series and Golf 8,. I suppose VW has to recover those dieselgate fines somehow...
You guys are very lucky to have such a well specced T-Roc come to Aus. The one that came to India was heavily toned down with no R-model, no AWD, no shiny red calipers and just 1.5 TSI engine. And it still costed the same as the T-ROC you get there. Interestingly, India was allotted 1000 units of T-Roc that came to our shores through CBU route and they all are sold out. Is the one on sale in Aus also a CBU or CKD or completely made in Aus?
This is a hard car to demonstrate the value until you've actually driven the 140tsi. This is actually a sporty drive compared to the subdued engines on most other crossover/small SUV cars in this segment.
It’s not really an SUV. It’s a crossover. Is that 2 bottle holders in each rear door or two bottle holders (in the rear) one in each door? Because she said 2 bottle holders in each door.
We recently bought the new rav 4 not the hybrid the Petrol version but the cruiser version it was expensive to buy the hybrid version but still happy with what I got.
Another great review I think you reviews as a best and most comprehensive on the internet and so classy just like you thank you

Great looking car. I have the same engine in my Skoda Karoq (with permanent 4 x4) average mpg is 31 but have seen 37mpg.
the rear view camera hiding behind the rear VW logo is neat and cool... first time saw it in real life thought the logo was falling off...
It’s also a button to unlock the rear boot too

Suuuper review
Very easy to understand
Please do a review of 2021 Peugeot 5008 after it released please
im not so sure, their are lots of cheap plastics in this car, this should have been pointed out
@@nextfall1047 No bro it is one of the best suv in the class

Do Skoda cars use the same engines without any alterations?
Yes

great review, looks identical to the Audi, same same but different
Pity about the hard plastics across the dash & door trims. For this kind of money one would expect better. Otherwise a nice review😊
Awesome review!
I like this but VW didn't offer this selling in North America !
Audi Q3 is pretty much the same thing.
A presentation in "TUTU" would be even better, thank you my hen.
Would rather wait for a RAV4 Hybrid.

Hope you ordered your Rav a year ago. You might have it by now with these crazy wait times for cars.
Terrible gas consumption!
