The early 90s see the manufactures try to put more luxury and comfort into their 4x4 line up. One example is this second generation Mitsubishi Pajero 4x4. Known as the Shogun and Montero in other parts of the world, the Pajero also see the introduction of super select 4wd system which allow drives to switch from 2wd to 4wd while moving. The Pajero 2 was so much ahead of its time that it went on sale in Japan in 1991and continue selling in some parts of the world till late 2010.
