a new rifle 😆 or new ammo, or just his take on Olde Faithful. I would love to see him shoot the poop out of a Ruger Black Hawk vaquero in .45 long colt.... This is one of the guns that allows RUGER ONLY loads, along with single shots like The Contender. .44 mag power from a 45 LC -- what would happen if you went with 454cassull brass and a max load from a strong ruger 6 revolver or a Contender and a 265gr hard cast pill????? The world may never know unless who tee who blows the lid off of this national cover up of raw manliness... lol lol lol
So from what I can fathom, the appeal of the CVA scouts in these center fire cartridges is 1. Cheap as all get out, there’s nothing cheaper in any given cartridge so you’re saving money 2. They work, simple engineering means no things to break I’m all about it. I still want to get one of their .50cal muzzle loaders so I can hunt 3 seasons instead of just 2. You’re doin the lords work WTW, keep on keepin on
Also part of it is the same as a Contender or Encore… One Good Shot! Begara who owns CVA was taught to make barrels by Mr. Shilen and through that learning process and quality chambering make very accurate rifles… for a while Begara was making Encore/Contender barrels (very good ones) and are missed on that side.. now imagine a rifle with basic action so overall shorter length and very good barrel and mechanics it just works… do your part and you will smile…. Last pig hunt for me was 7 rounds and 5 pigs… 2 of which were just verifying zero at the range before the first hunting session….
I have that 300 Blackout CVA. I have a holographic red-dot on the front of the rail. It allows you to carry the rifle one handed, right at the balance point. It’s great for stalking the deer woods, super quick to get a shot off. 110 grain Barnes VorTX is great deer round. That combo has killed several deer so far. I also have the 350 Legend CVA Scout. Still working on it and trying different ammo.
@@bcjdwbiernfjherwfbowfib Haven’t dropped mine but I have bumped it up pretty good. Holds zero mounted on my .308. Very clear and reticles are very crisp. Came with 1/8” moa turrets on it so you can really dial your gun in. Only complaint is it don’t have autofocus on the model I bought. You have to manually focus the scope to the range your shooting at. Other then that I really like the scope for $170 bucks.
@@jackvliet My issue with the burris is that they are made in china, and the turrets are not as good. But the glass on them is impressive for the price.
Great video. I love watching you shooting with the scopes. I have always loved setting up the scopes for over 30 years and I am still doing it even for other people.
All I can say is WOW 😮. I’ve been wanting a 35 Whelen for a long time, so the next time I see one of those setting on a shelf I’m buying it. Awesome video WTW.
Don’t have a scout but do own the hunter in 45-70. Amazing rifle, accurate with a sweet trigger. A little abusive on the shoulder but will be a nice deer rifle. Thanks for sharing WTH!
I have one of those in 350 Legend with a Sig Buckmaster scope, awesome tack driver with a great trigger. Can't wait to get another one in a different caliber.
Yeah, I kind of want one of these. I have never owned a suppressor, but the time might be right. It is not really a short barrel, you just don't have to make room for the bolt anymore. Saves probably 4' off the length.
Those CVA scouts are serious!! I’ll be investing for sure. Looked like you sent 2 through the bullseye on the first sight in target. Giving that 9 power some justice. Great shooting, love the steel cased results! Save your money, and shoot more 👍
Hi, WTW. When you look through eh scope and turn an adjustment wheel, can you see the cross-hairs move? Why not look through the scope and set the cross-hairs on where the bullet hit? Just sayin'. Thanks for sharing! Stay Healthy!
@@phild9813 yup! That first grouping on the paper plate was absolutely MOA or better for the first three shots. The 4th shot opened it up significantly.
My goodness! I would call that incredible accuracy for steel case ammo. Have CVA send you a check. Because of your videos on the 45-70 and 35 Whelen, I bought one in 45-70 and am about to buy the 300 BO. Thanks for the work!
I ran a Barnaul ammo called "Brown Bear" in 223, 62gr sp was excellent stout ammo. You'll find an Honest politician before you find any of it in stock today. Killed many a whitetail buck with that great ammo
I got a 350 in the same gun,I don't know if its because it's a single shot and I find that romantic or the fact that it's a sexy little tack driver ,but I have formed a strong bond with it I might even be in love with it.
I am thinking about the CVA Scout in 300 Blackout to control the groundhog population around our property. A .22 LR doesn't do the job unless you make a head shot.
Adam , I just seeing this today 10/5/23. I have seen your videos on the CVA Scout rifles. I'm considering getting a CVA Scout in 35 Whelan. I have used Barnaul ammo in 308. I was surprised with it's performance.
I'm sure you already know this but just in case you dont if your rifle is sitting in a rest that ain't going to move when you shoot instead of counting clicks you can just watch through your scope leaving it on your aim point and move the crosshairs right to the hole where it hit and it's usually quicker and saves ammo sighting in a rifle you probably already know that but just in case because Anto ain't cheap and I can usually site new rifles in within two shots
Hootie Hoo talk about the threading for the muzzle brake I saw on the package it said 5/8 x 28 I heard the threads are left hand thread on some of those barrels
Nothing beats relaxing, surfing the web and watching WHO_TEE_WHO shoot cool guns. Thank you!

Where u get the red dot from?
I love the whiskey 3 scopes!!! You can’t beat them for the money. They are tough as nails, and the turrets are awesome. For $120, nothing comes close.
Mueller scopes are better for the money. Midwayusa has them and I love my Tactical model scope by mueller.

Love these CVA Scout videos. Good for getting the deers. Started looking at the 350 legend one the other day. Keep posting them!
I love em! Thanks for watching!
I have a CVA in 444 marlin and with a cheap 3x9 Tasco scope can still get 2in groups at 100 yards, love those rifles, and good shooting sir
Great video. I love watching you shooting with the scopes. I have always loved setting up the scopes for over 30 years and I am still doing it even for other people.

I love the 300 round we need to wildcat this, go short, long, check powders, go LONG bullets and get the BC up, all kinds of stuff.
This started out as a wildcat, 300 fireball, 300/221, 300-221, 300 whisper all the same.
Makes me wonder what the groups would be like without the brake on it. Would be an interesting comparison with different ammo with and without.
Good idea
Those CVA Scouts seem to be quality! Nice, quick site-in like you usually do! Sometimes it surprises me how accurate that cheap ammo is!🇺🇲✝️🇺🇲
CVA make some good guns. I have a older CVA muzzle loader and still shoots good. Thanks for the video.
They are very nice looking rifle. Thanks to your buddy for letting you test it out & sharing info.

For cheap ammo Barnaul 300blk is some good stuff for plinking at the range. That is one of the most accurate rounds out of my 16inch 300blk AR

I was super impressed with the 35 Whelen video and everything about it it seemed like it just gobbled up those shells
Can't wait to see this love the cva single shot rifle I have one in the 450 and really like it

I like those CVA's and glad you do 5 shot groups real time and not cherry picking a 3 shot group 👍

300 blk out is a versatile caliber... can be used for anything
Love my cva scout 450 bushmaster. Same hole groups at 100 using hornady custom FTX 250 gr.
I just ordered one as I was watching your video. I have not tried 300 blackout yet but this inexpensive rifle has persuaded me. Thanks for the video.

What? 3 groups at a hundred plates? Re-check your video , it's funky hilarious 😂

1.3-1.5 inch groups at 100 yards is definitely impressive with mass produced steel case ammunition!

Reverse scope siding Works shoot the hole and move the scope to the hole
I think it's time you do a video on how a muzzle break helps accuracy
