What is the twist rate on that barrel? Looks sweet.
Would you also recommend this scope for CVA Scout V2 300AAC in rifle with 18" barrel ?
I have a Thompson Encore with .223, .25-06, .308 .50 cal black powder and with all the barrels it is a nail driver with three rounds touching at 100 yards. This is a rifle but it converted me to a single shot addict. With the .223 bull barrel and a 6x20 Nikon scope one summer I shot 26 times at 130-165 yards shot 25 groundhogs in the neck or head from a bipod out my home office window over about 3 months.
Shooting ground hogs is so much fun
I always wanted to get a TC and never got around to it. These new CVA's really perform.
I've been looking into getting a CVA Scout or TC Encore pro hunter in 35 whelen. I see a lot of good coming from rhe cva scout but I hear stuff about accuracy concerns with the TC due to their hinge or something like that? I'd love to hear about any of this from a TC owner.
@@Dantakurasaki I have never heard a bad thing about CVA. Barrel made buy Bergara. In my eyes Bergara is the best middle of the road factory rifle.
@@bobborlog1677 not trying to be mean but I hope they haunt you in dreams. Lol
I have the same one in 243. Geting 6 inch groups at 300 with 100 grain soft point. Love it. ❤️
Have you hunted with it???what's the farthest you would take whitetail out to
That thing is super impressive. Short barrel and amazing groups.
CVA IS LOOKING GOOD.Single shots are best for training new shooters too .
I love it
That is some outstanding shooting!! I have a Thompson Center Encore in 308. I love hunting with it.
I’m currently reading Jack O’Connor’s Big Game Rifle. He mentions the 35 Whelen and also a 40 Whelen.
Don't forget the 338-06 my favorite...........
My old man has the .243 model. Things an absolute tack driver. Little snappier in .243 but still super manageable. I want to get the one chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, I think it would be funny unicorn gun. Thanks for the continuous flow of great content over the years, Adam. Can’t wait to see this channel hit 1M subs
Love the excitement Boss! Hardest working guy on the tube 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 All the best
WTW, if you are going to reload for your new CVA, you can send at least 3 brass casings to RCBS and they will make you a custom set of reload dies for that handgun. Most reload dies are universal on the threads so it should fit just about any reload press you might have. Radio wave
I bought a cva scout in 44 mag for my kids to shoot deer and that thing is awesome. It’s incredibly accurate and it puts a hurting on the white tails here in southeast NC. Love the pistol. Gonna have to pick one up.
Good shooting with the CVA . Thanks for the video.
Very nice set up.
I've got one of these. In 444 Marlin. Started life as a 44 mag. Sent it off to Mike Bellm and had it rechambered and ported! Awesome handguns!
Awesome
Thats outstanding mate
Cheers
Rob
I have a 300 AAC in the Scout Carbine that is insanely accurate with every weight bullet and it is a pleasure to carry
Interesting setup!
Cva makes a In line muzzle loader called the optima it's a handful the recoil is a bit much but you can load it down cva makes really great gun as you witnessed I've never seen you so excited on a video I'm glad you got the pistol dialed in I also love that scope and rings
Great video. I have always wanted one of these and you just sealed the deal for me. I have a bunch of 6.5 G ammo, so that will be the one. Thanks!
Sweet setup. Good back pack bing bang.
Really like your videos !! You sold me on the CVA and Crimson Trace set up !!
That's pretty cool. I have the BP version I didn't know they made them for centerfire cartridges. I think I want one now
I just ordered one of these a couple days ago. Come across this video today. Now you got me all excited!
Awesome!!!
Awesome shooting man , gotta love those tactics driving pistols too
I like this one, it reminds me of my Thompson Center Contender in 35Rem. Need a new scope on mine, it’s a three power that’s 20 years plus old. Thanks again WTW for fun and good shooting videos. 🎥💯👍🙏🏻
that's a SWEET pistol!!
Nice I've got to have one!
I love it
All these CVA scout videos are so accurate your making me wanting one in 6.5 Creedmoor. Love your videos thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome weapon WTW!🤘🏽
I love mine! With a 2x red dot mine shot same hole groups with the Barnes 110 grain black tips! I agree my new favorite! Cva scout 35 whelen on the way!
I enjoy the challenge that hunting with a pistol brings-especially when you get out past normal pistol range. A scoped pistol can be a challenge for sure, but it is also a lot of fun!
I love your videos. I just bought the CVA V2 scout pistol with the burnt bronze finish and and muzzle break in 350 legend. Put a vortex viper red dot on it and shes a tack driver at 50 yards! Hoping to get my 2 deer tags filled with it this fall Here in Maine
I absolutely love my 6.5 creed. Shoots sub moa with American Whitetails and Nosler ABLR. Speed in the chrono are 2415 and 2300 respectively. Should be good out to 250 yds. Thinking of puting a hypertac 6.5 on the end-prob feel like a 9mm then.
Thanks bro.. absolutely shootable gun.. pretty accurate.. 👍
Great groups I can appreciate someone who can own a bad trigger squeeze you keep it real buddy good luck with that CVA this fall 👍
Awesome 👌 CVA scout 300 blackout
I love it
Awesome 🇺🇸 made CVA !!! Great looking scope. 👍 Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
Great gun!
That thing is beautiful 🤩
I have had one for about 6yrs...it is in .357...it shoots like a laser beam...about the most accurate gun I have using my handloads. But, it shoots everything great...not just handloads. That Bergaro barrel is something special...
I love it!
Sweet! Congrats on your new and ACCURATE boolot slinger!!!
I love it!
Good pistola. Great groups. About 30-40 years ago I had a Thompson Center Contender in 35 Remington. It was a good deer dropper. Good luck 👍
Love the videos. I just bought this in 350 legend. Can't wait to shoot it 🤪
That was amazing! Who needs a rifle when you can do that with a pistol? 🎯🎯👍
Absolutely
I was settin here sayin “ the first shot hit between I & N on top” , then the 2nd went low left and then the 3rd hit close to the 1st. I said it repeatedly man, at the top at the top! Could you not hear me? LOL!! I realized what I was doin and was glad I was home alone. Good video man. Love the Scout!
I love handgun hunting, and for where I am at, or at least how I hunt they work great. I started hunting deer with a .357 and got two deer, bought a .44 and got two more, now I just bought the muzzle-loader version of that pistol you are shooting there and looking forward to getting a couple with that. I thought I was done buying guns, but after watching your video I am thinking about buying another one in a rifle caliber. It might be a great gun, but that is some damn good marksmanship too.
I have the 50 cal black powder version. Love the gun. Have a cva rifle too. I think cva is underrated. They make a quality product at very reasonable prices.
I have the 50cal black powder rifle I absolutely love it. They’re very affordable and you’re right they’re definitely underrated.
Great video! Thats a beautiful Bing Bang right there. Once you got settled it really performed great and liked those boolotss.. I am seriously impressed with your grouping! Them deer wont know what hit em. WTW....
Super cool stuff! 😎
Hey Nathan
well I'll tell you what Hootie man I appreciate this video now I know what I'm going to buy for them ground squirrels on this Ranch thanks again man that was a good video CVA Scout pistol thank you
Very cool 👍👍
I’m going to look into one of these. Being from SE Missouri we hunt woods and brush too. This might be what I’m looking for. Great video as always.
I use a bogpod bipod. They make a lot of different BOOM BOOM rests and even a camera mount. Tripod and a rest would work great with that thing.
After watching the first video where you revealed that little gem I had to look and see what else CVA had. I'm seriously considering getting the .243 to go along with my TC in 7-30 Watters and my Savage striker 260 Remington.
The striker in 260 Remington made me fall in love with these types of pistols...
the short barrels do not whip like a rifle and shoot amazing groups.
I love it
Awesome pick up as that is so cool....Good stuff.....
I would put a bipod on it for bench shooting. Good luck with the new deer getter! Enjoyed the video as always.
Heard tell they are tac drivers !!
Can’t wait to see how yours does
it sure is!!!
That's definitely a cool one
I love it!
Who tee whooooooooo
Hey andrew!
Nice I have the same scope on my encore .308 . Haven't played with it much but it's nice glass.
That's cool, ya need to get a good chest holster for that thing.
Great video brother I have it in 6.5 creedmoor great gun!!!
Very impressive for a single shot pistol.
I just picked up the same Crimson Trace scope the other day to put on my CVA Scout V2 6.5 Creedmoor. I hope I can put together some groups like you did.
I bet you can!
I have seen t/c pistols out shoot most rifles it’s amazing how they shoot I told my nephew to get cva pistol he got one he likes it in 44 mag
Cool man
I was just looking at the Grendel when you mentioned it. It may be a 250 yard back pack gun as sweet as it gets.
Love the look and a good shooter too 👍👍
I love it
They now have this in 350 Legend, would love to see a review of that one!
I used to hunt up in the mountains of West Virginia. Something like this would have been great. Hiking up through thick brush in the dark with a 10lb lever gun gets annoying. I think my closest shot ever was about 15 yards. Now we did hunt the power line cuts through the woods too. I took one at just under 250 yards. But I've been all up and down the east coast hunting.
I just bought a scout rifle in 44 Mag , I’m ready to go try it soon !!
Man, now you got me itching to get one in 300 blk. Using a shooting stick it should be stable for shots up to 100 yds. Good job with the accuracy testing.
Great video and an awesome pistol. I wish we could carry pistols like this for hunting here. Unfortunately we're constrained to range only for pistols and we can't get shooshamabob (I think I spelt that right 😅). Would be a fantastic alpine bush carry - compact size, plenty of knockdown and able to shoot out readily to 100 metres. Keep the great content coming sir 👍
That thing is sweet !
Hey Charles!
Ok, you have yourself a short action cartridge pistol. Go for the gusto and get the 6.5 Creedmoor. I promise you can’t go wrong and you will be doubly amazed. Put a good muzzle brake on and you could use a rifle scope.
Single action is a great way to teach kids how to be safe and careful and use firearms and respect other people and SAFETY AND RESPECT FOR OTHERS
Just started looking at these, and I'm thinking about the 6.5 grendel as well. Plus I saw a couple companies that make grips with pic rails for mounting braces. Which would be legal for hunting in the shotgun only zone in southern MN where a buddy just got 40 acres.
Hello Sir, 6.5 Grendel does best out of a 20 inch or longer barrel up to 24 in might not be the best idea for a pistol but the 308 case and a 6.5 creedmoor would be excellent out of a shorter barrel pistol. Thank you
Do they allow other firearms in the shotgun only area? Perhaps do they allow pistols in the shotgun only area or is that a shotgun and pistol only area? Thank you
Nice. There is definitely something to be said about bergara barrels. What is the barrel length? Regardless, congrats on a sweet shooter.
I'm impressed with the CVA bing bangs.
Me too!
@@WHOTEEWHO do they still make the cascade in 22-250?
I have a 16" bolt action in 300 blackout that I took a doe with using Hornady sub-x 190 grain last season and it was quiet suppressed
Hi, I'm Loving your video on the CVA Sout.
I have Bergara BA13 takedown in 308 Winchester, which is very similar to the Scout.
They are awesome little guns, I've have taken a couple of deer 🦌 and some pigs 🐗 with it.
Great rifles.
Thanks again 👍
Good shooting! I have a T/C G2 Contender with 14" .22lr, .223, a 12" .357 mag and an 8 1/2" .44 mag. I'm thinking about a 7-30 Waters and .45 Colt in carbine length.
Nice shooting for a pistol.
I cant believe you are getting those types of groups with a pistol.. Its gotta be the barrel makers.. Bergera makes an amazing rifle...Barrels.. triggers and all.
Great Groups Practice, Practice and Practice. Hope you find the 6.5 Grendel.
Really enjoying your channel. Like me you seem to really enjoy firearms and shooting. Thanks for the fun.
Appreciate you watching Donnie
Holly crap, that’s impressive! I’ll never have the PRIVILEGE of hunting with a handgun living up here in Canada,(not legal) but that’s a awesome bing bang.
You're allowed to visit Freedom Country to your south. You just gotta promise to go back home. Though it appears JT is dead set on turning anyone who isn't an urbanite social progressive into a political refugee.
@@MrHowardPhillips
I visit, and I’ll probably never want to leave. LOL. 65 years old and financially well off.
Well that first shot you hit the deer in the eye. 😆 🤣 😂
Reminds me of the Thompsons Center Contender from Hard Target
Happy
Thank You for the Video & Content
Couldn't stand it, So just bought one 😎
Awesome!
Sightmark 2-7x32 scout would top that great also
Reminds me of the Thompson contender.
I have this in 6.5 creedmoor and 243 .... so much fun I really love these pistols....
You have too get a muzzle break ... it literally takes more than half the recoil from 6.5, I am currently using the ALTRADYNE APOLLO S.
Check out TRICLAWPS gun clamp for that steady rest . They work amazingly well for all kinds of shooting or hunting.
Your channel is addicting! How do you come up with all these ideas? Either way, digging all of your videos Sir! Thank you and appreciate all that you do!
Really appreciate you watching! Lots of new stuff on the way!
I liked when you traced around a penny for the bulls eye. Great shooting.
👍😊🎯 you’ve got a good little deer or whatever pistol there.
Sick
I love that pistol. I want one now lol. I’d love one in 454. That one is a tack driver. You can get a shooting stick for the deer stand
