Man this groovebox seems to be so cool. Considering how different clips can be made on the fly I can totally see how someone brings this little box, nothing else, and performs a whole improvised live set from scratch. Thanks for the vid!
Thank you so much for this video! Got an MC101 for Xmas after a long break and I'm fully back into jamming around now and seeing your setup here has inspired me to be creative again!
Wife has grabbed me one for Christmas. Going to be very excited to try this. I've tried lots of groove boxes and the maschine line, but I think this one is going to fit my speed and flow very well. Just something for me to groove on casually.
Hi thanks for the video, really nice. I’m new to Groovebox and looking for a portable option, something I can carry on my backpack, transitions, battery powered and IPad connection is important for me, can you recommend something. Thanks
camidelaigua I use the Yamaha MD-BT01 to change my Yamaha Reface CS into great little MIDI controller for iOS apps - especially good with those apps that have MIDI learn.

matt my friend! now i buyed this little sh** mc-101 but the manual is a joke, there is nothing of good description! Please, can you make some short videos for dummys and absolute beginners, eg. "Lesson1: Load/Save Projects & Clips", "Lesson2: 4 Sounds on 4 Channels".. That would be very helpful for all users :-)))

Thanks man, I need to get inspired again. Here’s to a creative 2022 👍🏻
j’adore!
Thanks for introducing me to the Yamaha Bluetooth midi adapter, my brain is now spinning with possibilities. I didn’t know such a thing exists!
You're welcome, great little device. They do a USB version too.
Matt Craven what is the latency like when playing from iPad and from a Bluetooth keyboard?
@@DrGrooveBeat it's pretty good. You notice it when recording a little bit, ua-cam.com/video/In-mrcse9Ps/v-deo.html (about 30 seconds in)

She's a keeper!
Excellent ! Haven’t used my mc101 yet but good to see what it can do (even if I am late to the party !)
This is so cool! How did you connect the iPad to the mc101? Was it Bluetooth?
Very nice!
Nice groove.
it's 'Awesome 3 featuring Julie McDermott - Don't Go ('96 version)'
90s House !!! Shake your body !
excellent tip
Nice
May I ask where I can find this gorgeous piano? Sounds like and M1 but new to this particular hardware / process.
Hi, dos this work with korg gadget app? thanks
The piano reminds me on Awesome 3 Dont go
Cause is typical piano of the sound of 90s
How are you finding the Yamaha BT cable?
Hi! Can you load AXIAL Scenes and Libraries into that thing?
Doesn’t it have a piano sound and chord mode? You don’t have to sample.
Loads of piano sounds, but no chord mode - hence why I'm using chordpolypad to send midi to MC.
707 has chord mode
@@mc84music It has chord mode. Have you found it as this post is a year old.
Getting all this use out of the 101 , are you considering getting the 707?
Not really, i prefer the portability and battery power of the 101.
Nice. For the drum track, can you individually control each part’s volume, pitch and decay?
Yes.

The 101, my fave portable Groovebox so far.
Sandro de Souza Also check out the Korg Electribe 2
Do you know if those midi yamahas can be paired directly with a keyboard bluetooth midi controller?
I don’t think so, it wouldn’t know how to talk to it without another device telling it what to do.

So the mc-101 has step-recording?
motoboy6666 it sure does 👍🏻
Thats actually truly awesome. Hope these will show up on 2 hand market soon
Love it mate thank you. Love the Awesome 3 vibe.

Mighr well be the most uninspired "groove" of all time for this monsta-machine

You need to look at the Reference Manual, available on the Roland's website.
