Just a random anomaly tip: For the metal shards that cut you and give you bleeding. If you crouch, you can walk right through them. I figured this out through testing (and wasting a lot of bandages), so if you're in an area with the shards, just crouch through

The entire progression arc of this game is to get better gear, and learn the world better. If you just grab the best stuff and never go naturally to get better gear, it takes away a lot of the game. Just my 2 cents.
Agreed Idk why I watch these videos after I find this stuff but the excitement of stumbling onto great gear is so much fun I just hope they fix the day/night cycle soon nothing wildly different just make it so it isn't night 95 percent of the time
@ exactly. The joy of this game is finding that weapon that you needed, or saving up for it. Going from getting shot twice to being able to take a handful of bullets before dying with better armor. If you just jump to the best stuff there is no incentive to dive into the ruins and scavenge for gear. It just takes away the main purpose of this game.
honestly i disagree stalkers are people who are trying thete hardest to get the very best gear if you get the very best gear your a well geared stalker the upkeep on these items will really show people how bad they need artifacts and other things to sell
11:00, easy tip for killing the controller. If you get close with it, it will try to "walk away" from you, because it can only attack far range enemy and its moving speed is slower than grandma. Also, it has to has line of sign in order to attack you, so you can use that pillar to block its vision, get close, blass it with a shotgun.
To: ESO. There's a unique weapon called trophy in the same area there's 3 small concrete bunkers of you toss a grenade in the one with the body and some grenades the others will blow and on one lays a safe with trophy inside figured ESO might like to know this

Warning to those in Chemical Plant, there is an issue with saves when in this area that a lot of people have experienced (myself included). If you venture into the area, make sure to save outside of it first in say Rostok. If you were to try to load a save in Chemical Plant, there is a chance your save won't load and you will need to reload an earlier save
I didn't have any issues in slag heap aside from massive perf drops, going from 90+ down to 3-5 fps, the glass anoms are annoying to find when running around but I find so many bandages they easy to counter if I run into them on accident. If I notice them and can't get around them though, slow wins. I crouch and walk through and nothing happens
Yea I had a bunch of autosaves, thankfully didn't lose 33h and only lost 1h. I quicksave often now as well xD always fail to be in habit of quicksaving so this has helped lol

The lullaby is whats in that journalist stash, not a 416(he had a 416 equiped and read it wrong). The lullaby is ultimate edition only, dont waste your time if you only got deluxe.

how do you pass the pontoon bridge? there is no bridge there. at least, for me... edit: what you fought to get the code for the armor is a Controller, the worst mutant that you can face in the wilderness. that effect he gives you is actually psi radiation which affects your brain. i don't know if it's in this game, but, for the new stalkers out here, if that thing gets to close to you, you will point the gun towards your face and commit sudoku. have fun with your new "friend"
I found the best armor I’ve found so far. It’s kind of like the orange rad suit you found in the previous video but this one is camo and has a almost max rad resist once upgraded and has about half protected from all others the physical is lower then some armors but makes up for it with good resistances to all others. Plus, you can put 2 Leadline pockets so your artifacts neg are voided! I’m running the thunder Berry which has maximum endurance and maximum radiation and the radiation doesn’t even touch me it’s a full suit mask included and it’s not far from Rostok! Once you’re in Rostok headleft and two question marks will pop up the upper one is a helicopter crash go to that and when you’re next to the helicopter, you will see a crane climb up the ladder that is on the pole careful because there will be electric anomalies. then once you climb up, you need to get into the cabin of the crane do a little parkor and it will be on the floor of the crane cabin on the left leaning up against the wall. I found so far.
The m14 looks sick, especially with full auto. The m14 was originally a select fire gun meaning it could do semi or full auto fire which you never see in video games

For anyone who cares, this is one of the codes that actually works regardless of progress on events or quests. You can literally just use to code for the door without fighting the enemy by watching this video. Or if you already did the boss on another save file like i did. Just walk up and type in the code

The protection stat doesn't stack. Head armour protects your head to it's level of protection, body armour protects everything else to it's level of protection. Combined armour protects your head and body to it’s level of protection, therefore if it’s higher than the head and body armour individually, it's better than both. They should really make that more clear in game. For environmental protection, it's a bit less clear. Some people say it takes the highest stats from the two pieces, others say they combine.

The rifle in the video is the m-14, it’s a decent marksman rifle not a sniper rifle. Also there was a selection of them with an automatic fire rate but the u.s. military abandoned it fairly quickly
The journalist stashes seem to be RNG based in terms of location of the stashes. I only had two of the stashes in the lesser zone (ptm/light merc suit & AR stash). I didn't have the one in the north of lesser with the sub machine gun like you did. I found the shotgun just inside garbage once I got to that location, but I'm still waiting to see if the submachine gun stash is somewhere different than where you found it, or if it was simply bugged and did not show up.
Thanks again for all the tips ESO . Took me about 30 mins to do the Army Warehouse location ...but well worth it . And tons of FUN . Not sure how ...but I ended with 2 ....Mk1 EMRs . This is a Keeper . Cheers .
Avoid the chemical plant entrance, I got stuck in a dialog loop where the guy says “restricted area, stalkers aren’t allowed in the chemical plant”, then it just gives you the option to say WHY CANT I ENTER, and it repeats over and over, can’t pause or anything, I suppose it’s because if you follow the story you aren’t supposed to be here yet. Annoying I had to restart the game.

i am not sure but weapons that come with scopes might have an upgrading bug. i was upgrading my EMR and one of the upgrades removed the scope and then i cannot reattach it. i think i also need the blueprint to upgrade the rails to accept a scope attachment then after. same thing happened to my Viper SMG either way, the dragonov (SVDM) is still my #1 choice ahead of the EMR.

I think you should mention that this armor will not be upgradeable early. Even if you get it early you will just keep it as is until you reach a higher level technician

You have to be careful with granades inside buildings! I was in another boss fight in a building with an anex with a mutant with teleckinesis and a poltergheist and one of the 3 keys got lost because of the explosions! I was lucky to find the key behind a cabinet where it was suposed to be above it but other people said they were not so lucky and have lost theyr key because they too have used granades!
Good old controler, the way to beat him is to hit him and DO NOT STARE at him, if he does not see you(physical obstacle between you two) he can't do anything. Send him some frags and then some lead kisses...
if an items "worth" say 10k that doesnt mean i can sell it for that does it? i dont seem to get anywhere near the value from traders. am i missing something
In the example shown where the intention is to find the armor and gun it does actually sell for over 10k. I think the actual purchase value is over double that. You are not missing anything, you buy for waay more than you can sell.
Does anyone know if the army base has the wolfhound armor? The mercenary sniper by the EMR there is one of the only guys in the game wearing that armor and it’s in the database but not found yet.
Big big warning there is a creature near the building that requires the code that is basically VERY annoying especially if it's a fresh play with just your ptm because it duplicates it self like 50 times and they attack you so proceed with caution it would be cool if this guy warned you tho
I've come here and tried to enter a code Google gave me, and Bloodsuckers, physi dogs, bandits, would not stop spawning. I kid you not, I fought off 4 bloodsucker at a time. It was insane
Multiple times I had like 12 bandits spawn. Another, there was 8 or more giant headcrabs and about as many pigs. Enemies just keep spawning right in front some times and sometimes don't stop spawning, very annoying when trying to search for a stash.
bro LMAO im over here stuck in the tower next the bridge at 12:43 cause 4 bloodsuckers spawned and it was night. I waited out til morning and random bandit groups spawn and die by them. im stuck 😭😭😭🙏🏾 edit: next batch of bandits came and i waited for the Suckers to rush them and i just ran off the other way back to inland 😂😂 didnt get the armor yet but i got the sniper LMAO

@ESO I just found something really cool!! It’s a non stop energy drink variant. But it’s called Non Stop Stalker! It’s the actual energy energy drink they sell in Ukraine! Same look and everything! NON STOP LIMITED EDITION ENERGY DRINK. And then the description says. A limited edition of the energy drink with caffeine vitamins and a refreshing watermelon flavor . And when you look at the can in your inventory or if you aim at the can before you pick it up it shows a pictures of a stalker on it and its the same stalker from the loading screen and the game cover!! Plus it’s orange and white! It’s pretty damn cool. I never would’ve found it if I wasn’t a guy who likes to check every nook and cranny!
Do first missions before you can grant acess to the bridge. , its not. permanent. so. do a cpuple of missions of the first part before you can cross =)
I must have pissed someone off when I stole the armor because enemies began raining down on me left and right. Tons of heavy armor guys and bloodsuckers. I finally got away but ran into a pack of dogs. This is like a multi day chase at this point just trying to get back to my zalissya.

Hold X on pc and you can indeed walk through them, even without crouching. Very cool detail.
While heavy, the walk is slow enough to get through

there is kninda a big difference between "Bolt Action Sniper Rifle" and a " Designated Marksman Rifle" the Mark 1 EMR being the latter
There's no such thing as a "sniper rifle", a "sniper" is a skilled person, not a scoped rifle.

The bullpup isnt the AR416, its the ultimate edition preorder gun called Lullaby. Shoots the 5.45 and is pretty handy.
Here is an important tip. You have to sleep every 4 nights or your aim goes wild same with hunger

This is a little cheesy ,but the door code is not random. So if you don't want to deal with the controller you can just input it in at the door.

Simple question: how are you using melee with the pistol? I've bound the melee button obviously but I can only hit things with the knife. What gives?

Big big warning there is a creature near the building that requires the code that is basically VERY annoying especially if it's a fresh play with just your ptm because it duplicates it self like 50 times and they attack you so proceed with caution it would be cool if this guy warned you tho

I've come here and tried to enter a code Google gave me, and Bloodsuckers, physi dogs, bandits, would not stop spawning. I kid you not, I fought off 4 bloodsucker at a time. It was insane
Multiple times I had like 12 bandits spawn. Another, there was 8 or more giant headcrabs and about as many pigs. Enemies just keep spawning right in front some times and sometimes don't stop spawning, very annoying when trying to search for a stash.

bro LMAO im over here stuck in the tower next the bridge at 12:43 cause 4 bloodsuckers spawned and it was night. I waited out til morning and random bandit groups spawn and die by them. im stuck 😭😭😭🙏🏾
edit: next batch of bandits came and i waited for the Suckers to rush them and i just ran off the other way back to inland 😂😂 didnt get the armor yet but i got the sniper LMAO
@Ghvst__ Dude, I even went back to go get more loot, and those mfs STILL SPAWN IN PACKS!!! 4 Bloodsuckers, 4 gas mask creepers, (forgot their name) and then 2 squad SPAWN either side and don't stop spawning.

Do first missions before you can grant acess to the bridge. , its not. permanent. so. do a cpuple of missions of the first part before you can cross =)

I must have pissed someone off when I stole the armor because enemies began raining down on me left and right. Tons of heavy armor guys and bloodsuckers. I finally got away but ran into a pack of dogs. This is like a multi day chase at this point just trying to get back to my zalissya.

Just went through all of this in my second playthrough and… there is no armor in the safe room. Was it patched out?
Armor is expensive to repair. When I battle against the ward or bandits I remove my armor before i engage. Cheaper that way
