The hippo better pray he dose not meet Gustav, he got so large he started attacking and killing full grown Hippos, I watch video footage of him swimming towards a group of them, they had to form a defensive line to discourage him from getting any nearer to them.

Most humans don't kill for sport, that's a very small percentage of the population and not the majorities cross to bare. Plus humans make art and entertainment, exploration of space and the ocean, as well as advances in science and medicine. Humans are diverse and capable of much good. Crocs provide none of that.

Mother hippos will let their babies swim over to the crocs unattended without paying any attention and the crocs more than likely won't try anything aside from times of extreme famine because they know that free meal spells certain death afterward.

Yep, exactly my thoughts. I've seen videos of Hippos biting Crocodiles in half during territorial disputes. I think most people think Hippos aren't aggressive, but they are very territorial and that bite strength is more than any crocodile.

Captured the beauty of the scene! I guess this is a rarely seen interactivity of different species in a playful arrangement of nature. For me it seems absolutely orchestrated. Well, didn't they find out recently that the flying ones were more like flying reptiles than dinosaurs? And in that time nature played with interracial things, there even were dinosaurs who had more in common with reptiles. Nature is complex! This is now one of my TOP 5, of all time, favorite wild animal videos! Watching a young, jerky, teenaged Hippo follow, and harass, the old, crotchety Crocodile is so amusing. You can almost read the thought bubbles above the Croc's head, "Ugh! Not this guy!?!" And then the Hippo prancing around, while it looks like he is laughing at the annoyance he had caused the Croc...And then comes thundering in the Elephants, breaking it all up.

This is actually really amazing footage! It's not every day you get to observe behaviors of interactions like this one. Hippo playing with Croc, Elephant playing with Hippo. Hippos are so nasty, so to see this young one, playing with a different species without aggression or intent to injure is truly spectacular.

Animals have more to them as we know, humans can discuss the behaviour but i doubt that nature is so easy to understand.
There ones was a saltwatercroc, shot in the head. A fisher rescued it, brought it home, took the bullet out and fed the croc till it was better. He was the only one he could swim with it afterwards, they became very good friends. I don't know anymore who of them died first, but the other one followed short after!
Everyone has a soul, and with this soul we can overcome our nature, we just have to decide every time if we want to do good or bad.
