If the Covenant had Grunt Goblins during the war, humanity would've been extinct before Halo 1.
If the Grunts had Goblins during their first rebellion there wouldn't be a Covenant.

@Hunter Clark the fuck you mean? One of the books, Halo Bad Blood, had them in it. Makes it canonical, and pretty much all the bosses and weapons in Halo 5 are all canonical too.

He’s also pretty smart and quite brave for a grunt…even if he forgets that vehicles are most certainly going to be used against him.
I'll be frank, I always loved a Grunt Goblin mini-boss fight, strictly because of the dialogue and that he's actually pretty tough. The idea of a Grunt piloting a giant robot version of itself is ridiculous but it manages to work with how the pilot is just enjoying himself while on a major power trip. It's like that moment when the weakling gets ahold of a big gun and gets to feel powerful for a while.
By far the best thing to come out of halo 5
is it just me or does the "revenge, REVENGE!" line have a stronger meaning than it seems?
since grunts have been mistreated in the past by humans and covenant alike. but the grunt is now getting his revenge on the humans like never before with his grunt mech, killing them off like they did to him. hence why he shouted revenge.

I know I'm answering a 2 year old comment, but I personally think it was a 4th wall jab at the players who have killed hundreds, if not thousands of Grunts.

I want this guy to be in the campaign. In my opinion, it would make for a much better boss fight than the warden.

It would have been a much idea. Or if the Warden had a different body each time you fought him, each with different weapons and tactics. You can see plenty of Warden/ promethean concept designs that they could use.

Grunts are so adorable. I love their dialogue, normally they’re cowards, but put one in command of a Goblin and he adorably thinks he’s invincible.

One time I was in mythic firefight on prospect and melter master yimbap came down during the final round. Were trying our best but he kept on killing us, there was ten seconds left and we broke his shield that covers the face. I grabbed a dmr and shot him directly in the face and we won there was one second left
