The City of Winter Springs Florida selected Meadowlark Log Homes to design, handcraft, deliver and re-assemble the giant log pavilion located in the lakeside Trotwood Park in Winter Springs, Florida.
The city and neighborhoods surrounding the pavilion benefit from this beautiful structure to hold events and picnics, providing cover from the elements for those wanting to find a quiet place to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Joas Miller and the crew from Montana assembled all the complex logwork, roof structure and finish cleaning, preservation and three coats of exterior high-quality plant-based stain on all of the logs and ceiling boards.

Great craftsmanship but I can’t help feeling that such heavy duty logs & foundation’s that I can’t help but feel that not much more effort would be needed to make it into a fully functional building rather than a pavilion. Not saying it not a wonderful thing but this is not your average pavilion, it’s over 3200sqft & it’s been built to the highest standards as if it were to be used as someone’s home 🏡. I must say though that it must be the poshest pavilion that I have ever seen. Great work guys.

Can you build this or a cabin also on e tropical Island??
I dont think those masks are suitable for that kind of spraying.. might be wrong but when we were spraying lacquer we had much beefier masks and they were still letting fumes in, for enclosed spaces like what your doing I was advised to use respirators with an oxygen tank because laquer vapours will permeate through most everything else. Doesnt take much to have a cumulative effect over time

Why no roof?
It wasn’t installed yet. It has a roof now. We will be showing finished videos of that pavilion soon.
