    That course is very interesting. Technical in its own way. Being so short, the goal is no mistakes. Even a tiny one will cost you a second and a second on a 47 second course is HUGE. Good job!🤘

    Here in the Philippines, we have similar lifts, except the bikes are tied to motorcycles instead of a rope that runs straight to the top.

    I remember lifts like that at ski club fields in New Zealand like 20 years ago. Skier/Snowboarders wear a climbing style harness with that rope on it, clip onto the tow line and up you go. Locals called it a "Nutcracker" lift.

    • @BCpov
      @BCpov  6 років тому

      Haha, interesting. How would one unclip?

    • @BCpov
      @BCpov  6 років тому

      same way as it works in this vid?

    • @jdwalker9718
      @jdwalker9718 6 років тому

      Held the "nutcracker" clamp closed on the rope tow with your hand. When you got to the top ( or things went sideways), let go of the nutcracker and your're free from the line.

    • @jdwalker9718
      @jdwalker9718 6 років тому

      Principle seems similar, executed differently though. There were no lifties at the club fields to assist, you were on your own...

      It depends on your riding level. A lot of the trails are quite technical, but business time is a good one, am pm as well.
      Green monster, cheap thrills if you can handle some double black.
