Running my new 16 way box wedge, and after close to 60 hours of splitting, had my first true jam up, had someone hold a pre split chunk infront of the blockage, and it came right! I couldn’t be happier!

Now all I need is for you to build a splitter that’ll run this wedge! Now that would be the ultimate splitter!! Now let me know when you’re ready to run the Rachel test on it lol.

There is a guy who has a orange and blue processor in Wisconsin, who should invest in one of these!!!

The wedge or the processor? The 2in pieces are a bit small for him. I'd say a 3x3 wedge like this would serve him better.

That wedge put out some nice splits. Having a wedge with the sides open is the only way to go. No one has time to get out of the AC cab to swing a sledge. Also love how easy it is to change out the wedges.

Great job on the custom wedge 👍 (and the 60C) Good video and discussion. Question, can you make a 32 way split wedge for Back 40 Firewood for when the corporate accounts start coming in for his small wood 🤔. Seriously though, great machine and great customization options for your customers.

On my splitter of a different brand, was doing the manual version of rotating the log you spoke of to get the knot in the right place to run it through the bigger wedges lile your new pizza wedge for the processors. Proper knot placement makes a big difference on a 28 ton splitter like mine.

Normally you would just replace the tips on them. They can easily be replaced with a bench vise and oxy/acetylene torches. If you check out skidder kev he has a couple of good videos of it.
