LEFFE AMBRÉE 6.6%

LEFFE RITUEL 9° 9%
My hope is to find out what is the best Leffe Belgian Beer in the WORLD!

Whilst every style of beer explained may not be all the craft beer channel may not be about, looking in to how you've been drinking beer wrong your entire life, how beer is made, brewing your first homemade beer, talking to beer experts, identifying cheap vs expensive beers, price points, and answering beer questions from brewmasters is all a part of my real ale craft beer journey.
Extra points to anyone who catches the post-credit scene 😂🍻
Sad newsi had to stop drinkingbut i still enjoy these reviews
Got to do what you need to bud! Cheers!
I've had them all and the Brune was my favourite 😋 "That's staying in" 🤣
The Brune is a funny one for me, every time I think I’m not mad on it and always end up surprised. You’d think I’d have learnt my lesson by now 😂😂 Cheers!
Ha! I waited for the end and (edited out, no spoilers) ... I've been doing that myself previously, watching your videos. "Be-do-be-dooby-dooby-doo.." 🙂
😂😂 Good to know it's catchy!
I didn't even know there was more than the blond and brown. Awesome video!
There’s even more than this, there’s a summer bier and winter bier called Noel. It’s a pretty solid range considering - as crumby said - they are owned by AB Inbev
@@ilcorvo9559 Cool! Thanks for the info :)
Thank you! And yeah as @ilcorvo9559 said there are others but these are all their “core range” minus the 0%. Cheers!
Brune to me is the best, lovely flavour and body on it 👍🍺😀
Seems to be the popular choice in these comments! I always think I don’t like it, but I really really do 😂😂
I promise I am NOT that sort of guy, but I must comment that when I was in Europe, friends pronounced this beer something like "LEY-feh." Only from Americans have I heard "Lef" (rhyming with Jeff). This doesn't matter though, fun video, thanks!
Also, I'd like to see you do the same sort of taste comparison with a line up of ... MEADS!
I've made mead, friends make mead, but during winter in Canada we can occasionally find commercially produced meads, local (Ontario Canada) and Scottish and English. I would love to find the Scandinavian meads too. There are several.
I hope you're on board with the mead idea. 🙂
It's entirely likely my pronunciation is wrong - I wonder if it's a colloquial thing as everyone I know locally says it the same way. We do have a tendency the further north you get to start shortening words as much as possible!
I LOVE mead, really do enjoy it. I think the only problem I face with it is that you can rarely buy it in small enough volumes to do reviews with. I'd love to do a comparison of 4-6 but if having to buy wine sized bottles for each that would be a very expensive video, though, a very tasty one! I'll see if I can find any smaller volume options. Cheers!
@@TheCrumbyBeard Are you in Yorkshire?
@@dietrichess9997 Nottinghamshire. So not truly North but right next to it 😅
@@TheCrumbyBeard My maternal family is from Liverpool, and apparently my Gran went to lengths to eliminate her accent. I didn't understand this as a child, but that was the tale.
Dad's side of the family is from Scotland, but with Danish surnames. I asked about Yorkshire because I'd heard that many Northern dialects had Norse influences, hence the shortening of words, and the tendency to drop definite articles.
I don't think we can get anything from Leffe except the standard blonde. Your wife should be in front of the camera. She has a nice voice :)
Maybe one day in the future, for now, Mrs Crumby Beard shall remain a behind-the-scenes mystery 😅
I've only had the brune a couple of times and it's been about 6 years (widely available when I was living in central Europe), but I remember really quite liking it. It's very hard to get in Ireland; pretty much limited to 1 or 2 online retailers occasionally having it.. Shame. Especiallhy as the blonde is rubbish now.
Ah that is a shame. Is the Blonde the same 6% sub-par version the UK gets?
@@TheCrumbyBeard Yeah, 6% I suppose I shouldn't say it's rubbish; just, meh. Even with it being one of the cheaper Belgians, I won't be bothering again.
