I love the chosen, but I so confused. I feel like I'm missing something. Can you help me understand how an ad campaign featuring Satan mocking my God is good, I 'm so confused. Comments on them that glorify this fictional version of Satan make me think that the people making them don't know the true nature of Satan from scripture. I want to love watching the Chosen again but can't because all I think about is how it will be twisted by the ad campaign and a lot of people who don't know better will not understand the true nature of Satan and how dangerous he is, only the "harmless, funny" version of the videos. I'm brokenhearted. Please help me

The scene when John the Baptist was comforting Andrew when it was John behind bars… wow. It really shows the freedom one can have in Christ even in the worst situations. John was behind bars but his soul was free when he heard about Jesus. While Andrew although he wasn’t behind bars was in bondage from anxiety. Wow.

I like how John the Baptist told Andrew there would be something specific for him in the sermon. In the same way I listen attentively on Sunday mornings to pastor's sermon and know there will be something for me to learn or be encouraged by.
Matthew is one of my favorites as well. And I love John the Baptist as well. He read for the part of Jesus, but they gave him the other role and he's done great things with it. Oh wow, this made me cry. What a beautiful series.

Wow, this was powerful!!! I love the chosen because it ministers to me as a follower of christ. Am I willing to do hard things? It's easy to say "yes" but not as easy to do. To surrender your life daily, to not do your own will; to forgive people and walk in love with them no matter what - that's "hard"...but if we can do hard things, it's worth it!

I love all the episodes of the CHOSEN, everyone is so awesome. In Pennsylvania at Sight And Sound Theater, they put on Biblical Plays. They are really good they are like the CHOSEN Hollywood couldn't touch eather one but my favorite one is the CHOSEN. But if you or anyone is ever in the area of Lancaster Pennsylvania I recommend Sight And Sound Theater, but I love the CHOSEN the best. May God bless Dallas and the whole acting team.

Iam still unemployed and seeking uplifting and encouragement through shows, and prayer of course. The Chosen is a very important program, it is unique in its script and overall production. oh man! I missed the livestream! I liked the ep! The only criticism is the music was too loud during Jesus' sermon and you couldn't hear him too well. LOTS of character development, but looking forward to more biblical content later on.

Listened again and again and could not get it. Even though I am an American, living here... 😀 I do have a slight hearing impariment that does not have to do with volume . I am so dishearten because the devil has sent many people to destroy me on this app simply for asking for prayers. It’s so discouraging. Please pray for me and my children. Prayers are all we need. But No matter what, I face I will continue to trust in Jesus even as I struggle to support myself and my two boys. I will never lose hope. As a single mother things are hard on me. My husband passed years ago I’m alone. I’m overwhelmed at times because both of my children are autistic. I lost my job as a social worker at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition lupus and heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption. I wish I could go back to the hospital but the mandate is still in place for all workers in hospitals that participate in Medicare and Medicaid must be vaccinated against covid 19. I’m waitressing and I’m so thankful to be working again, but I’m not making nearly enough to make ends meet. But God has protected me and my children. That’s why I refuse to give up on my faith. I know God will provide. HE HAS so FAR. God is real and WITH HIM ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Thank you Jesus.
Closing your ears to a critical review, for something so important as an "accurate" portrayal of the gospels, has no discernment, and cannot handle being rebuked. They would rather have the kisses of an enemy, than the wounds of a friend.
Did anyone notice at the beginning Jesus says “judge not that be you not judged”? And then he cuts out. This is a verse that is ALWAYS taken out of context by those who are anti-Christian. What follows clears up why we SHOULD make judgements and by what standard. I wish they would have continued to make that clear. And if this is the Sermon on the Mount from Matthew 5, why was that even put in there? It’s from Matthew 7. Hidden agenda? 🧐. Such a missed opportunity to get the truth out there to people who keep throwing that verse in our faces when we point out sin. 😢
Because this show is not here to spread truth. It's a deception. Lord if this is a very large test for your church. I am ashamed most of us were not ready. Thank you for bringing some of us through it sooner and pray for all those still going through it I pray Lord they come out shining all the more to praise your glory. Amen.
This show is not entertainment. It devalues our Lord and Savior and adds to Scripture. The vast majority of people have never read the Bible, and they are confused by this show. This is a big deal - potentially salvific - if they are following the false Jesus, instead of repenting and studying God’s Word. These days, more people get their theology from TV shows like this, rather than going to the Bible. It seems easier to watch this show rather than concentrating on God’s word.
But so is he.. please whatever research you did or prompting from the holy spirit you are paying attention to when it comes to the chosen please do that for this kid.

Still don't like this show, I hate it. I hate everything about it. Nothing but bad vibes from it. A lot of Christian content creators have all of sudden started posting about this show in the last few weeks- or months I should say. They been talking about the show, giving it good opinions and I'm not sure if the people I follow are are legit or not now. I don't know how I feel about that. Could it be the enemy screwing with me? Possibly. Could it be God warning me? Possibly. I honestly don't know... I just got bad vibes because I know what the show truly is. I'm just gonna keep my eye out because ever since I started noticing the Christian content creators I follow began posting about this show and talking good about it, these creators haven't been in my recommendations that much. But before, they was everywhere but now, not so much. The Chosen isn't what it seems I hate to day. It has- not had, it HAS a dark background that many don't know about or many tend to ignore it just because it's about Jesus. The Choses has a Masonic influence, Catholic influence, Book of Mormon (Whatever that is) influence, and A LOT, I mean A LOT of Un-Biblical stuff. I understand it tries to bring realistic things to the show but no. Completely Un-Biblical. And the cast is questionable... The actor, who plays Jesus, is a devout Catholic. He has a skull ring and he isn't ashamed of it, he's proud of himself and proud of the ring. For someone who is supposedly a Christian, why does he have a skull ring and wears it everywhere and is proud of it? The Bible says that pride is a sin, and the the proud are sinners. And if you know anything about One World Religion, a cult being pushed by Pope Francis. The actor who plays Jesus has met Pope Francis and if I'm remembering correctly, they're good friends. They're just countless of stuff about this show that gives me bad vibes and nothing good from it. Before I actually used to watch The Chosen, I honestly enjoyed it. But as time went on, the show started to give me bad vibes. I didn't know why at the time, but now I do and I'll get ti that in a moment. So in all of my infinite wisdom, I began to look into the show, the background, the cast, anything and everything I could find. And I have already shared a little bit of stuff that I found. So all that stuff I found confirmed what I was feeling but I didn't know why I got the feeling at the time. But all the stuff I learned just didn't sit with me that well at all so I quit watching The Chosen, deleted every app about it and unsubscribed everyone for and about this show. Back when The Chosen was still new, so was I still new to Christianity. At the time, I never heard of the "Grieving of the Holy Spirit" or "Conviction of the Holy Spirit". I didn't know about them until later on when I learned about em'. The Holy Spirit was grieved that I was watching this show and He kept warning me. And still does to this day. God knows I'm trying my absolute best to be a devout Christian man, so He's helping me (I have to slow down because I sometimes get ahead of Him but He's patient with me) with everything that He wants to happen. My life belongs to God. If you don't believe me about The Chosen, do some research. And you will see a lot of junk that won't be pretty

Similar experience of conviction with this show two years ago happened and like you I was very new to the spirit side of faith. We were saved and delivered out of this deceitful fever that is called the show The Chosen. Pray for our brother and sisters. I am crying in relief I wasn't the only one who felt that too. Thank God for the holy spirit. Thank you God for the real Jesus who is your word made flesh. Hallelujah! Encouragement to you brother as your sister in Christ.

The show just didn't sit well with me from the beginning of the show yes I have been around before the chosen was even called the chosen but I ignored that feeling until right around the last episode of season two almost two years ago now because it came on me so strong I couldn't ignore that sense any longer I wasn't allowed to ignore it I know know because at the time I was too new to spiritual side/warfare to faith I didn't know about conviction then, but I couldn't stand myself and how I treated the show in my heart and I just stopped because I felt awful watching it unexplainable but it was strong. I can't explain it too clearly I just know I haven't watched another episode since.

oh man! I missed the livestream! I liked the ep! The only criticism is the music was too loud during Jesus' sermon and you couldn't hear him too well. LOTS of character development, but looking forward to more biblical content later on.

Listened again and again and could not get it. Even though I am an American, living here... 😀 I do have a slight hearing impariment that does not have to do with volume . I am so dishearten because the devil has sent many people to destroy me on this app simply for asking for prayers. It’s so discouraging. Please pray for me and my children. Prayers are all we need. But No matter what, I face I will continue to trust in Jesus even as I struggle to support myself and my two boys. I will never lose hope. As a single mother things are hard on me. My husband passed years ago I’m alone. I’m overwhelmed at times because both of my children are autistic. I lost my job as a social worker at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition lupus and heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption. I wish I could go back to the hospital but the mandate is still in place for all workers in hospitals that participate in Medicare and Medicaid must be vaccinated against covid 19. I’m waitressing and I’m so thankful to be working again, but I’m not making nearly enough to make ends meet. But God has protected me and my children. That’s why I refuse to give up on my faith. I know God will provide. HE HAS so FAR. God is real and WITH HIM ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Thank you Jesus.

Did anyone notice at the beginning Jesus says “judge not that be you not judged”? And then he cuts out. This is a verse that is ALWAYS taken out of context by those who are anti-Christian. What follows clears up why we SHOULD make judgements and by what standard. I wish they would have continued to make that clear. And if this is the Sermon on the Mount from Matthew 5, why was that even put in there? It’s from Matthew 7. Hidden agenda? 🧐. Such a missed opportunity to get the truth out there to people who keep throwing that verse in our faces when we point out sin. 😢

This show is not entertainment. It devalues our Lord and Savior and adds to Scripture. The vast majority of people have never read the Bible, and they are confused by this show. This is a big deal - potentially salvific - if they are following the false Jesus, instead of repenting and studying God’s Word. These days, more people get their theology from TV shows like this, rather than going to the Bible. It seems easier to watch this show rather than concentrating on God’s word.
The only way to clearly understand is to read the Bible.

Still don't like this show, I hate it. I hate everything about it. Nothing but bad vibes from it. A lot of Christian content creators have all of sudden started posting about this show in the last few weeks- or months I should say. They been talking about the show, giving it good opinions and I'm not sure if the people I follow are are legit or not now. I don't know how I feel about that. Could it be the enemy screwing with me? Possibly. Could it be God warning me? Possibly. I honestly don't know... I just got bad vibes because I know what the show truly is.
I'm just gonna keep my eye out because ever since I started noticing the Christian content creators I follow began posting about this show and talking good about it, these creators haven't been in my recommendations that much. But before, they was everywhere but now, not so much.
The Chosen isn't what it seems I hate to day. It has- not had, it HAS a dark background that many don't know about or many tend to ignore it just because it's about Jesus. The Choses has a Masonic influence, Catholic influence, Book of Mormon (Whatever that is) influence, and A LOT, I mean A LOT of Un-Biblical stuff. I understand it tries to bring realistic things to the show but no. Completely Un-Biblical. And the cast is questionable...
The actor, who plays Jesus, is a devout Catholic. He has a skull ring and he isn't ashamed of it, he's proud of himself and proud of the ring. For someone who is supposedly a Christian, why does he have a skull ring and wears it everywhere and is proud of it? The Bible says that pride is a sin, and the the proud are sinners.
And if you know anything about One World Religion, a cult being pushed by Pope Francis. The actor who plays Jesus has met Pope Francis and if I'm remembering correctly, they're good friends.
They're just countless of stuff about this show that gives me bad vibes and nothing good from it. Before I actually used to watch The Chosen, I honestly enjoyed it. But as time went on, the show started to give me bad vibes. I didn't know why at the time, but now I do and I'll get ti that in a moment.
So in all of my infinite wisdom, I began to look into the show, the background, the cast, anything and everything I could find. And I have already shared a little bit of stuff that I found. So all that stuff I found confirmed what I was feeling but I didn't know why I got the feeling at the time. But all the stuff I learned just didn't sit with me that well at all so I quit watching The Chosen, deleted every app about it and unsubscribed everyone for and about this show.
Back when The Chosen was still new, so was I still new to Christianity. At the time, I never heard of the "Grieving of the Holy Spirit" or "Conviction of the Holy Spirit". I didn't know about them until later on when I learned about em'. The Holy Spirit was grieved that I was watching this show and He kept warning me. And still does to this day.
God knows I'm trying my absolute best to be a devout Christian man, so He's helping me (I have to slow down because I sometimes get ahead of Him but He's patient with me) with everything that He wants to happen. My life belongs to God.
If you don't believe me about The Chosen, do some research. And you will see a lot of junk that won't be pretty
Go find others who hate the show and complain there. This is not the place for your foolishness!
Yes. Just yes. You were so much clearer with your words and stance and focus on God and in the right place as the lead in your life and what he is doing for your life. That is definitely were the focus should be. On God. Took the words I couldn't articulate myself right out of my heart. Similar experience of conviction with this show two years ago happened and like you I was very new to the spirit side of faith. We were saved and delivered out of this deceitful fever that is called the show The Chosen. Pray for our brother and sisters. I am crying in relief I wasn't the only one who felt that too. Thank God for the holy spirit. Thank you God for the real Jesus who is your word made flesh. Hallelujah! Encouragement to you brother as your sister in Christ.

The show just didn't sit well with me from the beginning of the show yes I have been around before the chosen was even called the chosen but I ignored that feeling until right around the last episode of season two almost two years ago now because it came on me so strong I couldn't ignore that sense any longer I wasn't allowed to ignore it I know know because at the time I was too new to spiritual side/warfare to faith I didn't know about conviction then, but I couldn't stand myself and how I treated the show in my heart and I just stopped because I felt awful watching it unexplainable but it was strong. I can't explain it too clearly I just know I haven't watched another episode since.
