Those silver painted accessories have given me the idea to ask a friend who is a welder to make me some for the underside of my vehicle.

I did exactly that. These are quality made products and best purchased by folks that can't fabricate safe tools like this. I sourced enough materials to make around 8 or 9 full kits for about $45 in new steel. I ordered an equivalent bottle jack that works great. Someone was nice enough to reverse design the 3D printed inserts for the bottle jack screw top area, so I had a buddy print me several sets.
Just last night I found an OEM Toyota screw jack on E-Bay that once the tip is popped off, these "Safejack" accessories fit perfectly over. The screw jacks can actually be safer to use than a hydraulic jack in that they can't unscrew themselves and drop, like a hydraulic jack with a leaky seal. I want to say they are slightly lighter as well. This will be my secondary jack as needed.

That yellow plate is part of the wheel chock set that Safe Jack sells. You need two of them and the chain that goes between them. Top notch equipment. Also handy is the base plate that makes those extensions into a jack stand.

I love the safe jack option. But what is the safe overlanding axle stand?

    Are you a doc(ter)? :p
    All the best!

i am not a german, but would feel more comfortable seeing a tighter fitment between the extension pieces and the bottle jack itself, plus some extra stability options. the thing is that i also dont really understand the safety issues around those high lift jacks either... what i prefer to do on my vehicle is to use a regular jack, and then stack rocks, bricks and/or paving stones next to the jack, and then remove the jack. so that way there is a really solid pile of stones or bricks instead. howeve of course you cannot do that in mobile situations when there are no suitable rocks about. but maybe... a set of jacking accessories could be instead some more light weight metal frame. or similar. that can be used as a companion to the less stable jack. or have the metal frame become attackable to the jack and its base, after the jack has raised up the vehicle. and without needing to actually remove the jack itself from its ideal position and location.

Don't think you have to worry about fitment, with any weight on it it's going to be solid. The deflection is pretty small.

Hi-lift have a very narrow foot, and are tall. The handle has all the load on it when you are raising and lowering it. If you get caught between the handle and the post and let go of the handle it's going to hit you pretty hard. There are plenty of you tube videos showing the issues.
That said, Safe jack also sells a plate and set of cables to make a Hi-lift jack much more stable. They have a couple of videos showing how much more lateral force it takes before it falls over.
For my money having a bottle jack and a Hi-lift jack is the way to go. Each has a different strength for lifting. Plus you can use the Hi-lift in place of a winch if you get some chain and the chain pull kit from Hi-Lift.
