Nice video. Explain the float and shot pattern set up. I normally just let the egg float on an egg hook, with split shot as needed.

what size hook/brand are you using?
Showing very poor fish handling practices. If u are releasing them treat them with a bit more care, as easy as keeping them in the water and wet your hand before holding them.

Red green even the gold balls of fire have always worked for me in Mammoth, bishop &Bridgeport..
This year I’m definitely ordering the garlic green and some yellow salmon eggs
Do you have any older women who fish for you? I have used Pautzke Bait all my life. We are headed to Rock Creek at the end of August. I first fished here in 1957 , I was 6.
