Great points, one I will add is if you want to succeed, what do you offer that others do not? In 2024 you have to niche down to a few select topics and be very good at them. Be the expert. And this will likely require continuous research, personal knowledge and idea growth to always be adding more value. The same can go for the projects you support. What do they offer that other projects do not offer? Why do they need to use blockchain and how does this improve or enhance the experience? For a project to truly have longevity it has to grow into more than just an idea. A project that has a step change experience for the user. Why will they stop using their web 2 project to use a web 3 project? I truly believe that the blockchain projects that find unique use cases using the blockchain that cannot be done in web 2 will be the ones that will succeed. All the pretty UI & experience will be the cherry on top. Hope this gives you some things to think about, and keep up the great work Wilder! 😉
What I like about Wilder World and Zero is that they were an infrastructure company first, Art second, UI and Experiences third. In order for the infra to work, they needed to show a concept. The concept will prove the infra and provide an avenue for others to come and do similar things. Just like Toy Story did for Pixar or the iPhone did for the App store.
@@belshebits Where would I go to learn more about the blockchain infra for Wilder World? How are they building their blockchain? Is it a layer 2 or 3? What parts of the game will be on chain? How big is the team and how big are the departments approximately? Are there any team or community blockchain explorers to track on-chain activity? That kind of stuff. I know for Star Atlas it's hard for people to find some of this, so just wondering how I can start? I have followed Wilder World from a distance for a long time and love what they are doing, even borrowing some ideas from Star Atlas which is great, I just haven't dove in deep on Wilder World yet. Any help would be great.
