Adore the cover, saw it on IG and immediately came to YT hoping for a video. I love Alice Hoffman and also Debra Harkness (A Discovery of Witches) and of course JK Rowling. I’ve often thought when reading that the characters do have a life of their own and a successful author brings them to life so that they become our best friends and we feel their pain and their joys. So so proud for you and the joy that you show every time you talk about this accomplishment is just lovely. Oh and i now have two copies coming my way, one from Blackwells and an autographed, GOLD FOIL copy from Waterstone. Gonna have to find an unsuspecting friend here to share with…😘

I totally feel the 30s slump of feeling like all the magic potential of my twenties has drifted away among all the mundane 30s clutter. I feel like there are dozens of things I want to do floating around in my head but I can’t pin one of them down enough to actually do it. I know we're not supposed to discuss how we possibly saw the cover before this announcement (I'm way behind and catching up on UA-cam anyway so it was inevitable for me) but I have it on my TBR list on Storygraph and for a while it's just been a blue blank page with Rewitched on the front. Then one night I went on to fill in my progress with my current book (Clytemnestra) and a book I'd never seen before popped up in my TBR and I went 'ooh! Whats that?' Then I realised it was your new one and was so excited that you'd chosen a stunningly beautiful cover! As you said illustrated covers are so beautiful and often my favourite type too but they can so easily flip and be terrible. But you've made some critical choices with yours which means it is absolutely stunning and I can't get over how nice the colours are! I'm very excited and hope my preordered paperback comes out at the same time as the hardbacks.

I know we're not supposed to discuss how we possibly saw the cover before this announcement (I'm way behind and catching up on UA-cam anyway so it was inevitable for me) but I have it on my TBR list on Storygraph and for a while it's just been a blue blank page with Rewitched on the front. Then one night I went on to fill in my progress with my current book (Clytemnestra) and a book I'd never seen before popped up in my TBR and I went 'ooh! Whats that?' Then I realised it was your new one and was so excited that you'd chosen a stunningly beautiful cover! As you said illustrated covers are so beautiful and often my favourite type too but they can so easily flip and be terrible. But you've made some critical choices with yours which means it is absolutely stunning and I can't get over how nice the colours are! I'm very excited and hope my preordered paperback comes out at the same time as the hardbacks.
