Nice flips❤😂 I like the red and blue X's
Damn cycle7 then this?! The catch-ball system of the cycle7 sells it for me more than this though
I'd wager they can charge $10 more for a second revision that allows for a no foam build. I understand that most beginners opt for that muted sound, but it doesn't hurt to cater to all audiences for a slightly higher cost. $130 is still a very competitive price.
100% agree
what deskmat are you using in the video? looks awesome!
It’s a deskmat from red bubble lol. Unofficial Marin kitagawa one
I have ordered my Royal Blue.
does it come with the keycaps shown in the pictures?
@@Centicc No. I believe it's GMK Indigo.
@@reviewyup592 oh ok thx
how about going no foam and using aftermarket poron gasket adhsives?
Also if the user doesn't care about resale value, trimming the silicon mat so it only covers the edges of the plate/case. Should basically be foamless at that point.
It’ll still rattle around since there is nothing holding it in place. You can put poron gasket adhesives though. That is a great point
nice keyboard i see you got my friend desk pad nice I like them to
Ayyyyooo!!! This pad go crazy. I have it in two colors lol
nice he has new one coming out soon@@Akeynote
what's the robot on the desk?? its very cool
Eilik!
how to make a creampaca? or do u buy them or do u have to swap stems and stuff
Sorry guess I should explain. Cream v1 stem and alpaca housing
@@Akeynote Thanks!
I'd love to know if a rubber o-ring would work on this
Ayyye it might! I’ll check lol
Does this include the whole keyboard except keycaps and switches??
Correct!
choice65 or qk65?
Not that fair of a comparison since the qk65 is like $200 after shipping, but if price isn’t an issue then maybe the QK? Feels sturdier I guess? Both great options.
1:48 WTH @@. Nope, i'm not gonna spend my money on something like this even it's a budget kb. Not at all!
What are you on about? The keyboard has a gasket mounting mechanism, which instead of being little socks or strips around the edges of the plate/pcb is an entire sheet of foam (probably poron). If you don't install it then obviously you will have an issue as shown, but that same thing would occur if you didn't install gasket socks or strips on any other board.
While I understand some people get all bent out of shape because 'foam bad" or whatever, this is a unique approach and SOME reviewers who choose not to properly built it aren't doing the customers any favors. The design is for the foam gasket to cover the entire surface area so that you get a more CONSISTENT typing experience and feel. And from what I've heard it sounds just fine with the proper foam installation. Of course, the pseudo-science reviewers don't seem to care about the FEEL of a keyboard, which you type on all the time, and instead will focus on some perceived sound that they will swear they can hear but will never actually do a A/B double blind test to prove because the truth is they're lying to themselves.
@@jgould30I agree with the vast majority of what you said, but what perceived sound is it that people are lying to themselves about hearing? Foam?
@@jgould30 I noted it as a con since not everyone wants to run pcb foams. Then showed you could theoretically do it, but it’ll have issues. I had to mention it for those that want a no foam board. If would be a disservice to the buyer if I didn’t mention this. I agree with most of what you said, but I don’t think I implied the same intent you refer to. Overall, I gave this thing a very positive review except for that one thing.
@@Akeynote They basically knocked out two birds with one stone by using that design, and it probably keeps the cost down doing it that way. However, they also made both variables dependent upon each other (plate foam, gasket mounting), which is a limiting factor when considering which config you want to run. You highlighted the issue with running it foamless, and I think it's very responsible of you to point it out as someone whose reviews can impact a person's buying decision.
Choice or cycle 7
Cycle7 if you have the money
