    Hi AnneMarie. Watching in bed on a winter’s morning with my coffee. Can’t think of a better way to start the day! Perhaps if you refer to the bookbinding glue as PVAC people won’t get it confused with the ordinary PVA which is not archival. PVAC is much more expensive here and harder to find. Loving you to pieces with a big fluffy hug from Australia.

      Cheryl R what does archival mean? Would I get the same results from using clear pva glue?
      Also would I get any cells without silicon - with pva and paint mix?

    Oh no!! You had beautiful flowers popping up that were so interesting and matched the others and you poured them off??
    To each their own I guess. Love all the cells, just wish the glue had a better archive property.

    I just fell in love with PVA glue pouring medium. I tried it back to back with Liquitex and the glue canvas was almost perfect. The liquitex was not acceptable. Have no idea why. I am used to using Floetrol with them but in this case, I need pouring medium only because I don't want cells and want crisp lines between colors...no shadowing. Do you have a video on getting crisp lines in a pour only...no cells? Thank you for this vid!!!!

    • @annemarieridderhof
      @annemarieridderhof  6 років тому +2

      PVAC glue
      The stiff homopolymer PVAc, but mostly the more soft copolymer, a combination of vinyl acetate and ethylene, vinyl acetate ethylene (VAE), is also used in paper coatings, paint and other industrial coatings, as a binder in nonwovens in glass fibers, sanitary napkins, filter paper and in textile finishing.

    Thank you very much for this helpful video. Just wondering, don't you need to pour some soft white paint on the canvas to help it with the flow beforehand? I see some artists do it, but I personally feel I like to do it like you, on dry canvas.

    • @annemarieridderhof
      @annemarieridderhof  3 роки тому +1
