Oh its real... its really real. My last order of 50 was all bent and most damaged. Now im starting to look through comics from earlier this year and im finding a bunch. Sucks!
Send in your books to CBCS, at least when they slab they aren’t damaging your books. If it stays in your collection who cares if you get a slightly higher resell value out of a CGC banana slab. 😂
Just a quick peek but thought I saw a spine tick on your Detective Comic 575. Looked to be in lower area. Similar to where I have one on 2 of my Venom books. For mine I took a flash light to the front and can see those ticks way better.
I have 5 books from the bend-gate. All low end current books so I am not super mad. But I did indeed just spend full market CGC price on a CBCS Something is killing the children #1 Frison. Why? Because I want a beautiful 9.8 of that book and to be honest I think CGC is way overhyped by rich collectors and CBCS cases are actually better, I my personal opinion. Both my neighbor and I have now switched to CBCS. Y'all can keep the overpriced CGC stuff.
Ohh that shaking around can’t be good for the book Reapertate728 did a video and his Vault of Horror was shaking around in the case like that I had heard this was an issue back in May some people did say that it was happening sooner than that and it seems to be an issue still currently I’m a bit concerned this isn’t a more public statement from CGC MakeRoomCollectibles did a video 2 months back talking about how CGC gave him a hard time and telling him it was normal or within reason He unboxed his retuned books only for those books to be bent still he’s a very good example of CGC knowing the books were retuned for the bending and they let his submission leave with more bending
i've heard people say theyve contacted support to CGC about the inner well shake and the response was exactly as you explained. if it's normal why don't competing slabs also shake?
@@SprosComics MakeRoomCollectibles got a response that the bend was normal or within reason The other guy he did his video and was concerned the shaking around could lead to future damage But I agree if it’s slabbed it should be secured in place no shaking loosely around

CGC won't be worth anything in the future
Crazy that by getting a comic graded, you could end up damaging it at the same time
They’re all the same. Grade collectors are in trouble…
PSA will be an option in 2025. I am moving my business to PSA or CBCS.

just double checked, no spine ticks on the 575. clean book, mightve just been a lighting thing!

There is NO WAY a book can bend inside a case enough to cause any problem. Stop being wussies.
My x5 9.8 Rat City books with CGC banana well and color breaking spine ticks will argue with your statement ALL day long my brother.
