I've been waiting for these motors since the Hobbywing ESCS wont run other manufacturer motors in full sensored mode with timing/boost. Would be nice to get a list of recommended ESCs for the DRX motors. I plan on running a XR8 Plus G2S with the 3662 for outlaw.

It's not. Turbo and boost dont work with any of the HW ESCs that have enough power to push these motors. You have to buy a non-hobbywing ESC to fully utilize these motors

Will the 3662 sd 6500Kv work with my maclan drk160rs esc

Just got my 3662 DRX and im extremely disappointed. This motor is not compatible with my XR8 Plus G2S for full sensored mode with Turbo and Boost. I replaced a Maclan DRK with this motor specifically for the turbo and boost support but I am stuck exactly in the same place. I went back to the xerun 3652 motor I have for testing and full sensor with turbo a nd boost work perfectly So I know it is not an ESC issue.
