A great video of Paul Dolkos' superb Baltimore Harbor District layout. Thanks for sharing. It would be GREAT to see even more of his layout on UA-cam.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for posting. It was a thrill to see what has changed since I last saw the layout in 2012.
Looks awesome, good attention to details. Sound adds a lot too. Thanks for posting. This was one of my favorite model railroader layouts. Russell
Looks like a great time on a nice layout. Thanks for sharing -Randy
Ok. Thanks so much. Does he maybe have anything from the Maryland layout for sale. It’s fantastic
Congrats to Paul. Given the amount of research he’s done I assume that using the caboose to grab the tank car in the opener is a prototypical move?
Yes, using a "spacer" car is prototypical to move cars carrying hazardous and dangerous materials. It gives the engine crew some space in the event that the hazardous car caught fire or exploded.
@@jml8975 cobooses are not spacer/cover cars for hazmat cars.
@@charlesgreathouse7376 sure they are
He sold the layout last year.
Hey Paul... I'm from Maryland and building a model railroad and want to do Baltimore. Can I talk to you about where to buy thesebuildings
Paul has retired and is no longer participating in model railroading. Most of the buildings on his layout were scratch built or heavily kit bashed.
