I'm so glad to hear people are benefitting from these videos, even if it's just this one. Thank you for the feedback! I just posted another today about the gun clip. Check it out!
Awesome video!!! I have a T-Rex Rag-SD. Will probably get an Xfer or two as well. I’m really glad I saw this video because I’ve been eye balling the Crye holster. I don’t like how the Crye is hard to clear the leather. That would definitely be more for when I’m on a four wheeler in the woods.
If you go full potato a raven concealment vanguard will carry a blaster with a can IWB...not that I recommend reholstering a hot can iwb...but its doable.
Have you tried the Gunclip with the Glock 40, or are you just saying it won't fit because the manufacturer says not to? Reason I ask is I have several Glock 17 holster that I use for my Glock 20 no problem, and I'm hoping this will do the same
Very informative video dude. My takeaway is that I basically need to invent my own holster because I dont like any of the suppressor holsters out there and I reached this conclusion based on your excellent. Thank u again.
It's my pleasure! I'm very glad it helped you out. Eventually, I'll be reviewing another which I didn't have for this video. It's the Burn Proof Gear "Suppressor Holster" if you want to check it out. Also, you can subscribe to me on Patreon for interactive advice.
@@thecontemporarygentleman I’ve looked into the burn proof. As of august 2021, the only one in stock would be for my FNX45 with Octane and FN 509T with Mod9. It doesn’t say if the holster would fit my FN57 with Mask. Man, it’s expensive. I’m looking at over 150 for the holster and another 150 for just one medium wrap….. ouch!!!!
It’s nice to see suppressor holsters becoming more common but it’s a shame none of those you mentioned work with the Osprey, that’s exactly what I need one for
@@arcblooper2699 shoot, I didn't realize you had an FN. Look into Burn Proof Gear's Suppressor Holster. I haven't gotten my hands on one yet but it's in my future.
awesomely detailed video on a niche subject!
Thank you so much!
just the video I needed. I went with the RagnarokSD.
Also I liked how you pulled out an Osprey after mentioning Osprey compatibility
Which part do you mean when I pulled out the osprey?
@@thecontemporarygentleman 11:17
I believe the Ragnarok SD has since been retooled to work with the Osprey.
I have the second Gen now and I don't think it has. If you've seen an osprey in it, it's because it's on a "not-Glock".
@@thecontemporarygentleman hmm. I'll let you know when I finally get an Osprey. Mine is configured for an M&P Metal with a DA Obsidian at the moment.
I think this is the best video about this topic so far on UA-cam. There is not that much info.
Thank you! I hope to do an update at some point this year.
Amazing video. THanks!
I'm no high speed Camo weekend warrior like you people. I found that the nylon long revolver holsters work well for hiking for example.
I've entertained such a concept. Good to know someone's tried it.
The two piece leather universal holster L/XL can also be used if you don't have a light.
Also good to know.
Hey man this is very educational please keep up education Firearms Technology demos

I agree for the most part, you can work toward a pretty clean and quick draw with the CRYE but no, never be as fast as one of the others.
I'll have a Ragnarok SD video coming out sooner than later.

"Full potato" I love it!

I did try and it did not work. It's possible I could have tried harder and stretched it, but at that point it may have quit working for my 17 etc.
Standard co makes an x300 holster that looks to favor a supressor, have you tried it? Very curious about it
I have not, but thank you for the knowledge. Others have come up since this video so I'll probably do an update.
Now that I see it, I did recently before aware of it and I am making plans to get and test one.
I would for sure be interested in an update
@@xsweetxvampirousx I just ordered the standardco "suppressor holster". We'll see how she runs. 3-5 day shipping and then some testing time.

The CRYE does. Check out my channel, I have a video specifically on the CRYE coming out this week.
The Contemporary Gentleman is there a new one? You mentioned it only fits Glocks and I have an FNX-45
