I got my tablet for myself for Christmas this year. The 256 Gig SD Card just showed up today. Though I'm pretty tech knowledgeable, I wanted to verify the process. It was very nice hearing understandable English! Very straight forward and I don't see anything that could improve this technical documentation. Thank you for taking the time to create it!
I couldn't figure out why the files weren't being saved onto the memory card ! I never knew I had to format memory card, much less how to do so. I had to watch 3 or 4 times, write it all down and then actually follow you step by step. I put your video in its own folder so i can always find it. And I guess i have to "unmount" the card when I take it out. Couldn't have done it without you! Thank you!!!!!!!!
My daughter said you can find anything on UA-cam, so when I couldn't figure out how to get the SD tray open I searched and found your video. It was very clear and concise, tho I had to pause it a few times to perform the various tasks. Thank you!
Your video was very complete, well-paced, and helpful. My final steps to confirm the sim card happened automatically once I clicked on the sim card tab in the storage file. Thank you for a helpful "walk- through".
Thanks so much Dude I was trying for ages to figure out what way round to put the card and on what side of the tray, 5 seconds after your video all done and working perfectly.
Thanks for this video, sir. The pin provided by Samsung is long enough. I just used it with success after watching the video. I was afraid of breaking something which met my previous attempts with failure prior to watching this video. Just have to apply purposeful pressure.
A couple differences with my A7 (phone equipped) as of 6-6-21: 1) It's "Battery & Device Care". 2) After I put it in and went to settings, it was showing up with folders and some Android stuff already on it, so I guess it formatted it on its own. I couldn't see an "Advanced" option. Thanks for the clear and helpful video.
It's probably not formatted. I saw the same thing on my wife's tablet. Once you have clicked on "Storage" you'll see a menu in the upper right-hand corner of the screen (has 3 tiny dots for the menu). Click on the menu and you'll see a single tab appear, That's the "Advanced". Then just follow the next steps to format the SD. Hope this helps!
This was bought to replace an old Lenovo tablet which was essentially too sluggish to cope with modern websites. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxz4qYZoyAOb_hq_UbaKI6AsZX0FnoFm-U This tablet is fast, has a very clear display with built in optional eye comfort shield, great sound with Dolby Atmos, split screen option and numerous tweaks that I've not yet explored. I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it
With the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, when you click on Storage after Battery and device care, there's no SD card. But see two little dots at the bottom of the list. Touch the one on the right and there's your SD card. Then click the three dots at the side where it says SD card and the option to format comes up.
THANK U! CLEAR CONCISE & Loud enuf!! Now I hafta 2 figure out how 2 send everything 2 the sd card & sync with phone (again). Lol But Thank U. Even found my sd card push pin I didn't see 1st time.
I just got mine at costco with a 64 gig card included. I didn't get exactly the same options as you show there and there was no format option. However, it apparently comes pre-formatted, because I've already stored photos on it. Nevertheless, this video would have been priceless had I needed it.
@@soniadelapaz8351 Your comment is the most pointless comment made. Rob Wells is correct that the a7 tablet purchased at costco settings is set up differently and not exactly like the video. Maybe sonia de la paz, you should do some research before making a snide comment because all your comment did was show your ignorance.
@Rob Wells You are correct that the tablet you purchased at costco is not exactly like the video. The option to format is there; however, to get to that option you need to do it differently than in the video. Here is how you format the tablet purchased at costco in case you need it for the future. 1. Choose settings 2. scroll down to "Battery and Device Care" and select it. 3. Click "storage" 4. Go to the top right and click on the three dots 5. Click "advance" 6. Click "SD Card" 7. Click "format" 8. Finally click "Format SD Card" in the little window that will pop up. Once you do that, the SD Card will start to format and just wait for it to finish formatting. By the way, your comment was not pointless. Others may have also purchased their tablet from costco and may have difficulty. Because you made your comment, I was able to respond to your comment with instructions and now those people who were having difficulty now have instructions. If you had not made the comment some people might still be frustrated and confused. So thank you for the comment. I agree with you that the video is still priceless.
Thanks for your comment. My tablet didn't have the format feature either so you saved me from going into frustration mode trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. , and instead went on to using the storage. Sonja, perhaps a regimen of strong laxatives daily for a month may help to expel the internal pain you are trying to cure with rude remarks.
