It has lived in my garage and I have kept up on preventive maintenance and did the few recalls that came up. Tires, an A/C repair. a new windshield, and a new radiator (recommended by the dealer and the internet) are the only things besides regular maintenance I have done to it. Over 17 years old, I still love it, and everything still works, even the low windshield fluid light on the dash that came on for the first time two month ago, which went away when I filled the reservoir.
Still driving my 07 frontier, bought new, 98k miles Still has Oe brakes, shocks. Replaced plugs and belt recently just for pm. Did a radiator bypass with additional trans cooler, Replaced fuel sending unit, other than that no problems, I love it.😊

I’ve had a Hardbody, three Titans, a Rogue and two Kicks. You could call me a Nissan fan. A couple of month ago, the Sales Manager and I were chatting while my Titan was getting new oil. He was trying to get me to trade in for a ‘24 Titan, but I’m not quite ready… My ‘19 is almost paid off. I want to keep it until I’m closer to retirement, then buy something new to ride unto the sunset. He then asked me if I would consider the new Xterra. Nissan missed the mark when they didn't bring back the body on frame for the current gen Pathfinder. I don't think I'll ever get rid of my V8 R51. Let's hope they get it right with the Xterra, if in fact they are bringing it back.
5:08 - your render is missing the stadium seating styling cue on the old Xterra and I think that’s important. Also, it would need more ground clearance as a starting point. If they’re not gonna follow the old design philosophy of Xterra, then they should not call it an Xterra.
Nissan actually started making the new xterra in 2020 in Middle East I live in Oman and here Nissan xterra comes with a 2.5 liter inline 4 cylinder engine one which is in Altima and is having 6 speed automatic transmission It is having a proper low range 4wd gear box and 7 seats It starts from around $26000 usd & top trim cost about $35000 usd
Not the same. It's build on the smaller platform, the same as the Navara, and is 4cyl only. It's still a decent off-roader with a rear locker and even a 3-row, but would never work here.
@@pritpalsingh4537 the previous gen Xterra also had a smaller SOHC V6. Unless they can shoehorn in a proper V6 (and still pass safety standards) it's not going to happen. What happens over there in the Middle East doesn't reflect what works over here in North America. The X-Terra (not Xterra), which is the same as the Terra, competes against the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Everest, Isuzu MU-X, Mitsubishi Montero and Mazda CX-8...all vehicles we don't have here.
@@Nd4SpdSe Toyota gonna start selling Tacoma and Land Cruiser in USA with 4-cyl turbo. What are ya talking about?? Just don't use a CVT and you can sell it here.
People already complain about everything being underpowerd, and you want a full-framed 180hp 4cyl SUV? It's a 3-row, but does it fit us larger people in North America well? The NP3000 Navara (on which it's based) doesn't pass North American crash tests, which is why you can't import one from Mexico. The (X-)Terra would have the same problem, especially on a vehicle that may or may not sell and Nissan wouldn't invest in that. They actually already tried IIRC with the D22. For the Xterra to be worthwhile, it would have to be based on the current the D41 Frontier. As TFL said, people want simpler and that's where the Frontier shines. Toyota has a good turbo-4-hybrid, but that also corrects performance issues with the 3.5L V6. Nissan doesn't have much in their arsenal for turbo4's, and they're currently working on V6's and even downsizing the (wonderful) V8 to a turbo V6. Best to put what they got, cause realistically, if they offer exactly what Toyota is offering, then you're just better off going with a Toyota to begin with.
I loved my 2007 Xterra... Of course they should bring it back... Overlanding Vehicles are more popular now than ever before... I'd actually like to see them keep it more compact like the First Gen Xterra.
Personally I think a 2 row would be fine. Not to big but yet enough cargo that a person could lay the second row down, throw in a mattress and sleep if on a camping trip. I suspect that if a 6 ft to maybe 6.3 person could fit in it most folks could. While it seems this generation is taller than my generation I'm not sure we are completely a land of Giants yet.
@jeffk464 the hybrid 4 cylinder is a turbo, thats the issue. Turbo 4 cylinder with a hybrid system is vastly more complex than a good v6. This is where I think toyota dropped the ball with the new Land Cruiser coming out.
Back when in 2010 I was shopping for a 4runner I came across the Xterra due to the pricing of Toyotas. I drove the Xterra and instantly fell in love with the ride and power so I switched from being a loyal Toyota owner to a Nissan truck owner I owned the Xterra for 7 years with no issues and beat the crap out of it off road in the sierras. I now own a Titan but would buy one of these for my wife in a heartbeat.
I had a buddy that was a Toyota truck guy. Never thought about owning a Nissan. One of his brothers bought a 2nd gen Frontier and he test drove that compared to a similar year Tacoma. He said night and day difference and he said the Frontier drove so much nicer and he is now saving up for a Frontier.
Drove my 01 for 400,000 miles. My current 2012 has 150,000. Introduce one with a manual transmission option like my last two and you've got my interest.
I rescued my 2001 from getting crushed back in 2018. It was an abandoned vehicle at a towyard that no one wanted because it was the 2.4L KA RWD base model with a lot of issues. Still running and driving, though. I paid $550 for it with 153K and a clean title. It's an EX1 Gold Rush Metallic paint-code. I've since rebuilt the engine, replaced the transmission, and gave it the 16" wheels from the V6 model. Scored everything for it from the junkyards near me, and most of the engine parts came off Frontiers since KA variants seem more common for those. It's only 150 HP and limited to 100MPH, but to be fair, it's a timing chain engine where the V6 was 170HP and had a top speed of 117, and that engine had a timing belt. If they create a third generation with body on frame construction, a manual transmission option, and a turbocharged 4 cylinder option with a timing chain, I would make that the first new car I'd buy without hesitation. In the mean time, my 01 is a great daily driver. Had no problem getting me to work in the -10F snowstorm we had several weeks back.
We have a 2014 Xterra & we love it. Very practical, compact & maneuverable, lots of power, & not as thirsty as you might think considering the boxy shape (we average around 19 mpg). I’ve been hoping for a new Xterra ever since they discontinued the last generation. I think Nissan is clearly missing out on a hot market. Unfortunately, it’s typical of Nissan to be late to the party.
Ive been looking for a quality used Xterra. I literally day dream about how awesome it would be to bring it back. It needs all the best quality of the 2nd gen with their shortcomings addressed.
Nissan, don't mess this up. You have all the market evidence to make a success Xterra. Powerful, capable, reliable, rugged and affordable. You've done it before, you can do it again. Give us turn dials and buttons. Leave the screens to the 6 figure mall crawlers. - Someone who used to buy Nissan products from the 80's - 2009, who wants PROUDLY own a new Nissan product.
I am like many here, have a 2014 Pro X and LoVE it! Been holding off getting a new vechile hoping Nissan will bring back- if not next year, will have to break down and get Toyota 4 runner
I've owned both body styles of Xterra. I'm currently in a 2013 with a 2 inch lift and 120k on it. It's still got a good 5 years or more on it but i would enjoy it even more knowing I've got a successor to buy when it's at EOL.
I bought an xterra in 2012, it has 211k miles. It now has a 3 inch lift and 33 inch tires. Use it for everything, including towing, off-road adventures, and mostly for long trips to explore the western United States. Would buy another one in a heartbeat. Shes a beast!
I had a 2000 Xterra SE and used it how Nissan advertised it. I dreaded the day in 2016, I traded it in for a 2012 Pathfinder, but I needed something bigger for my young kids at the time. I didn't want the newer Pathfinder because of the crappy unibody construction. I wanted a body on frame SUV. If this new Xterra comes to fruition, I'll be first in line to buy it!!
My wife bought herself a new Xterra back in 2010. That vehicle has been an absolute tank and runs like a top. We’ve been looking to buy new but disappointed with the new SUVs on the market. I’d love to see a new xterra that’s actually more rugged than a bunch of badges.
I’ve Driven the Nissan Terra in the Philippines and it looks to me and feels like a modern X-terra in the USA it’s body on frame and the back floors sit higher than the front seats . Thanks guys for the great report and update.
Nissan really has to make the Xterra off road trail worthy in order for it to sell well. I remember back in the day when Xterra had a version that came with a mountain bike and other gear as a package. Now, that was cool. Make the new Xterra boxy and rugged. I would get one
Bought my 2010 Xterra with 14k miles on it, today its around 84k and is as reliable as ever. Regular scheduled maintenance is all i have had to do. If they released a new one, I for sure would be interested and likely a buyer if it has a V6.
Nissan already laid out the foundation for the Xterra which is the current gen Frontier, and that is exactly what they did almost 2 decades ago with the D40 and the N51. They would be absolutely silly to not potentially take away sales from people who are cross shopping a Bronco, 4Runner, Defender or Wrangler right now.
I have a friend that works for Nissan and I have been telling him that Nissan is being really stupid by not bringing back the Xterra when you have Wrangler, Bronco and now Land Cruiser in that market. It would be as easy to build as just taking a Frontier V6 Pro 4X, chopping the length of the chasis and building a SUV top...
Owned and loved, 2008, 2010, 2012, and two 2015s. Still have the 12 and one 15. Se, offroad, pro4x, all manual. And a new rock creek car. Yes both 21 and 15 bang offroad today here in Arizona....paint all has cactus love marks.
bought my night armor gray ‘06 X off the lot brand new in 2006 and against all the odds (and oh my gosh did nissan make sure there were a LOT of odds stacked up with this model - catalytic converters every 4-5 years, strawberry milkshake of death, engine coils, evap system issues, freak electrical garbage… the list goes on and on) am still driving her at 249,900 miles! should roll over 250k this week! little rust over the wheel wells and i’ve prob had to invest about $20k in repairs that weren’t directly maintenence related over the years but it’s still cheaper than buying a new car i won’t like as much and there’s nothing else i’d rather be driving. (except maybe a new xterra.) she still makes me just as happy behind the wheel as the day i bought her! truly was and still is my dream car 17 years later. never imagined she’s last this long. 💙

I’d still prefer the 2014 Nissan xterra pro-4x. The 2nd gen looks more truck based, more rugged, and more like something you would take off-road. We have a 2nd gen xterra and it still to this day is a off-road bargain!
Bought an 04 two and a half years ago. 191,000 miles on it today. Call it the weekender because that is my go anywhere and everywhere vehicle every weekend.
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing this sport utility vehicle I used to have the xterra many years ago for trips to the cottage
I had a 2003 Supercharged (5-Speed) Xterra for almost 14 years but sadly had to retire it from a rusting frame. I ended up going with a V8 Pathfinder to replace it. Something felt missing in the gen2 Xterra. I know it's supposed to be more bare-bones, but felt cheaper then my gen1. I know it's technically less capable off-road (well see as I build it up) but it's still in no comparison to the Pathfinder since 2013 and up, no matter how rugged the 2022+ looks. I know Nissan is done with the V8, but I just love it. The Xterra towed 5000lbs, but the V6 Pathfinder did 6000lbs and the Frontier 6500lbs on the same drivetrain. Heck, a V8 Wrangler is only allowed 3500lbs and the Bronco Raptor only 4500lbs. It is kinda ironic that it took both the Pathfinder and the Xterra to compete against the 4Runner as they both did, but neither at the same time, all depending on the trim level. Personally, the Xterra needs to come back as yes, a body-on-frame truck, (small) 3rd row with a 6000lb towing capacity. Frontier-based with a solid rear axle and locker. No hybrid, simple to maintain. Make this a capable work and off-road vehicle. Probably cause you don't want to eat into their "Rock Creek" Mallfinder sales.
I had an 07, Xterra, loved it, had a pro4x loved it even more. Have had two pro4x titans and 2 Armadas. Nissan has/had a great product. Bring back the “Xterra”!!!
They should definitely bring the Xterra back, but only if it's at least as good as it was when it left. I like the design here but it needs stadium seating with the raised rear roof, better factory roof rack, and much larger, more square fenders. Needs to be offered in 6 speed manual as well. Love Xterras though, great vehicles.
Agreed. I want to add that it needs a shorter wheelbase too. The 1st and 2nd gens were more compact like Jeeps which made them very maneuverable. This concept feels more 4Runner sized, which the Xterra was not.
@80PercentAshamedOfU ya thats true. 2nd gens are smaller dimensionally than a Rav4 these days, they actually had more similar dimensions to a Subaru Forester. Smaller size but heavy duty frame and all the muscle of the bigger 4x4s. One of the very reasons I ended up loving them so much.
If they brought it back, it would be a game changer for Nissan. They put front and rear lockers on their Pro-4X models, it will highly compete with the TRD Pro's.
Just sold my 2006 Xterra 209,000 mi. Replaced it with a 2022 rogue. Just seen an article on autoblog from march 29. Nissan stated that the idea is being “very actively considered”. I would definitely buy one!
That's because people with pay it. If customers decline to pay, prices will come down. Nissan will charge as much as the market will bear just like Toyota.
@@jeffk464 Agreed there should be more vehicles trying to out 4Runner the 4Runner. Regardless, prices will be discounted if consumers just don't buy. Run your current vehicle another year. Easy
I have had several Nissans in my family including 3 Xterras (2006/2010/currently 2014 and a 2022 Nissan Frontier. I have never had any issues with these vehicles except your normal recalls. I have about 25,000 miles on the 2014 and it still runs great. Realizing that its old technology which is why they were pretty cheap. I have been waiting for a new Xterra for years now. I would love to see a new Xterra . I live near the water and need for a decent ground clearance of the 9.5 foot or more. More interior room especially in the back seat which is currently cramped in the old ones. I do not want an open pick up. I prefer a mid sized or larger SUV enclosed. I look forward to see what Nissan is planning.
Pro4x edition: Body on frame, wide track IFS in front, trailing arms in rear, stock 33" or 35" tires, 4 cylinder turbo or turbo v6 over 400hp / 400 lb-ft torque, front and rear diff locks, 9sp trans. Not required: adaptive cruise control, lane departure, auto this and that, and all the other bullshit they throw on the vehicles nowadays. I own a 2015 xterra pro4x and love the damn thing. Only considered trading it in because of the anemic afterketmarket support for Nissan. Built it, in the configuration i described, and i will buy it.
yes, as a 2017 and 2005 Pathfinder owner. Love to see the X-Terra on a truck frame. May consider this instead of a Pathfinder as I prefer the truck frame. Hope towing is up there past the 6500 lbs as well.
We owned an ‘03 Xterra at the same time as an ‘01 4Runner. Both great rigs with almost zero issues. Apples-to-apples the 4Runner was a better rig for all the little things: multi-mode t-case, tailgate window that went up/down, auto window controls, rear area space, back seat design, ride quality and suspension design, engine/transmission driveability.
I have had a used 2012 Xterra that I bought about 3 years ago with 114k miles. I now have 150k miles on it and have had to do nothing to it except oil changes. It is a beast in the snow with decent tires. The mpgs hover around 19 with mixed driving, which isn't great, but tolerable for awhile. It is easy to park in town, is roughly cubed-shaped so it has good interior volume, and you sit high with great visibility. The ground clearance is 9.75" on mine. I would definitely be interested in seeing a Frontier-based Xterra returning to the market. It seems like it would be very easy to close in the bed of the Frontier, open the back of the cab, and make it an SUV. I hope Nissan goes for it. Even better; add a factory pop-top with tent and bed.
I've got 2003 Nissan Pathfinder and have been driving it for 16 years already. I love the power, reliability and off-road capability. Nissan has Terra in Asia, which is a really nice vehicle. The only downside is that it comes with 2.5 4 cylinder. If Nissan brings it to US with 3.8 V6, I would be considering is as my next vehicle.
Would love this if the top came off. Nissan is such an undervalued product. Love the rendering. The Pathfinder is meh. The Armada is nice but not an offroader (have a 2014). The return of the XTerra would be a great entry IF it is affordable (sub $40k).
I have been hoping they bring it back. Only thing I would trade my Frontier P4X for. Your render needs the back passenger door handles up high like the old ones.
I have owned two Xterras. 2007 and 2013. I still have the '13. I also have a 2023 Frontier Pro4x. A new Xterra based again on the Frontier platform would be excellent.
I loved my XTerra--got one of the first-year models. And thirsty back then wasn't a killer--gas where I was stationed was less than $1 for regular unleaded!🤣
I loved my 2008 xterra Off-Road. It had the best oem sound system of any vehicle I owned and once I put a good set of tires on it it was fun on the trails. I recently purchased a 4Runner. However if there was a 3rd gen Xterra I would have seriously considered it.
Nismo, Nissan performance division recently started selling aftermarket bunpers, intakes, exhaust and rims.. makes you wonder given its been out of production. Glad I have my manuaul 6 speed pro4x Xterra.
I had a 2007 Xterra off-road and it was a beast. I now have a 2016 Wrangler 2dr which I traded my Nissan for. It was a mistake. I wish Nissan would make something as compact as a two-door Wrangler. If they could make it somewhat basic as far as a naturally aspirated engine, I would trade in my Jeep for it in a heartbeat.
Please NISSAN if you are watching... BRING BACK THE XTERRA! And let it be a naturally aspirated V6, not some turbo 4-cylinder. And also include a manual transmission lol
The Xterra (or whatever it’ll be called since that was a limited-time licensed name from an off-road triathlon race) must have a distinct shape. That rendering looks like some generic image from the 4runner6g site with a frontier nose. That design language is all wrong. The bump on top gave it a distinct silhouette, and the bump on the back (for the first aid kit, right?) and the irregular window shape all contributed to it being unique and easily identifiable. Bilsteins were available even in the base model. $40-50k? Nope. Wrong market. $34-42K more in line. If they build it a “new and improved” modern version, I’d buy another in a heart beat. The reliability and capability made it a true friend. Slap some KO3s on it and I’ll send you a postcard from the edge of Racetrack Playa.
It was definitely a scratch on the head when Nissan discontinued the Xterra in 2015 when the off-road segment was just getting popularized. Same goes for the Toyota FJ Cruiser around the same time. It's a no brainer if they brought it back now, it would be an instant hit and give Toyota a run for their money with the likes of the 4Runner and upcoming Land Cruiser. We had a first model year 2000 Xterra in black back in the early 2000s and we loved it. The design still holds up to this day, at least on the outside. The interior leaves a lot to be desired.
I had and Xterra for several years. I wanted to buy a new one, but they stopped making them. I settled on a jeep wrangler rubicon, which was also nice. Would love to have another Xterra for though!
The cargo space needs to be bigger than in the Xterra. Affordability is key! You guys are specing it on the head. A bigger rear seat would be nice too. IE Crew Maxish. Give 4Runner a run for my money.
Should they bring it back? Absolutely!! Will they? Probably not, but getting rid of the Xterra was one of the stupider things Nissan did because they alienated their loyal fan base.

They should! If they use the v6 in the current frontier it will sell like crazy since everyone is going to turbo 4 cylinders.
hybrid 4 cyl instead of a turbo, that'd be cool.
@jeffk464 the hybrid 4 cylinder is a turbo, thats the issue. Turbo 4 cylinder with a hybrid system is vastly more complex than a good v6. This is where I think toyota dropped the ball with the new Land Cruiser coming out.
@@Jackmerius_Tacktheretrix Oh, when I was working for Nissan the Altima had a V6 conventional auto or a NA 4cyl w/CVT, you wanted the V6.
New nissan v6 is now underpowered compared to competition.
@backcountrynomad5109 but its less complex and will be more reliable. 300hp isnt underpowered by any means.
I think nissans a different company now than back then.... a new xterra wouldnt be the same
@@iskdude9922 I now own a 23 Nissan Titan. Nissan still knows how to build a proper truck imo compared to Toyota
Hell yeah! I would buy another Xterra. I bought mine brand new in 2006 and still going strong.
This would sell like hot cakes!!! Make it happen Nissan, but make sure to undercut the 4Runner pretty hard
Ive been looking for a quality used Xterra. I literally day dream about how awesome it would be to bring it back.
It needs all the best quality of the 2nd gen with their shortcomings addressed.
Yes, bring it back! But don’t water it down like the Pathfinder.
I own and still drive my 2003 Xterra with 385k miles. All original, no rebuild.
Only one issue with your Xterra concept design: the rear door latches are in the wrong spot.
Have a 2015 Xterra and love it.
I drove my xterra pro4x for 8 years. It was an awesome, do it all vehicle! I’d buy a new one in a heartbeat!
My wife bought herself a new Xterra back in 2010. That vehicle has been an absolute tank and runs like a top. We’ve been looking to buy new but disappointed with the new SUVs on the market. I’d love to see a new xterra that’s actually more rugged than a bunch of badges.
My wife would immediately buy this new extera. She had one back in the day and loved it. Was sad when they dropped them
I’ve Driven the Nissan Terra in the Philippines and it looks to me and feels like a modern X-terra in the USA it’s body on frame and the back floors sit higher than the front seats .
I hope 🤞🏾 so 😊 as a former Enterprise employee 😊that was my favorite SUV to drive
I had a 2010 which was taken by Harvey. Loved it so much bought the 2015. Love this SUV. Please bring it back. It’s affordable and a beast.
I have a friend that works for Nissan and I have been telling him that Nissan is being really stupid by not bringing back the Xterra when you have Wrangler, Bronco and now Land Cruiser in that market. It would be as easy to build as just taking a Frontier V6 Pro 4X, chopping the length of the chasis and building a SUV top...
i used to have an xterra. it was the only vehicle i have ever known where you could open just the rear windows without any buffeting
I have manual 2010 Nissan xterra 165,000 miles that got for $1000 dollars 💵 and I Love it. I wish the Nissan bring it back with some new
Ideas some that looks like the 4 Runner or like the Ford Bronco or the Jeep Rubicon.
I’d still prefer the 2014 Nissan xterra pro-4x. The 2nd gen looks more truck based, more rugged, and more like something you would take off-road. We have a 2nd gen xterra and it still to this day is a off-road bargain!
The pathfinder used to be truck based in the UK. It was based on the Navara (frontier) it had the same front end back to the B pillar.
Bought an 04 two and a half years ago. 191,000 miles on it today. Call it the weekender because that is my go anywhere and everywhere vehicle every weekend.
I would definitely buy 1 I absolutely 💯 percent love it so please nissan bring it to us here in America
I've been waiting for the return of the Xterra. I hope Nissan can keep the prices down to compete with the 4Runner!
I would definitely buy one if it has a rear locker, good wheel travel, and a decent turning radius.
i like your rendition of the xterra looks good.
I have a number of Nissan friends. They talk about the demise of the XTerra like they lost a favorite child.
This would definitely sell.
Your rendering needs the stadium seating! That is a hallmark of the Xterra!
I'd definitely buy one if they have a manual version and better fuel economy. I LOVED my 2008 Xterra 6-speed but damn was that thing a gas guzzler
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing this sport utility vehicle I used to have the xterra many years ago for trips to the cottage
Glad you enjoyed it
I had a 2003 Supercharged (5-Speed) Xterra for almost 14 years but sadly had to retire it from a rusting frame.
Still plenty of good driveable 1st gens out there. I've got one and don't plan on getting rid of it any time soon.
I have an 06 Xterra. 129000 miles. I love it.
Yes build a new xterra I've been wanting this for years
I had an 07, Xterra, loved it, had a pro4x loved it even more. Have had two pro4x titans and 2 Armadas. Nissan has/had a great product. Bring back the “Xterra”!!!
Currently driving a 23 Colorado and I'd instantly drive to my local Nissan dealer to get an Xterra if they made them again and trade that Colorado in.
My 2006 Xterra 4x4 has 193k miles. Still runs strong. I would love to see a new version of it.
I have a 2011 xterra 4x4 with the manual and its great!
I had an Xterra and liked it a lot. I recently replaced it with a 23' Pro4x. I really like both, but a new Xterra would be awesome!
If they brought it back, it would be a game changer for Nissan. They put front and rear lockers on their Pro-4X models, it will highly compete with the TRD Pro's.
I think it would do a lot more for Nissan than another electric car, that's for sure.
As somebody who has an xterra I would say absolutely. Not as good as my fj or 4Runner but better price and lots of fun
I couldn't wait to get my hands on a bronco, but I would trade it in for a xterra if Nissan did it right! My son still has our 09 Xterra and loves it.
Just sold my 2006 Xterra 209,000 mi. Replaced it with a 2022 rogue. Just seen an article on autoblog from march 29. Nissan stated that the idea is being “very actively considered”.
I would definitely buy one!
Love the x terra hope they keep the price manageable and not like the 4 runner which is out of control
That's because people with pay it. If customers decline to pay, prices will come down. Nissan will charge as much as the market will bear just like Toyota.
@@Red.Hot.Chili.Beans63 You need more competition to bring the price down.
Owned an 05 Xterra loved it. No issues. Infinity should use this for a lux off roader to go head to head with the GX.
If the available room to sleep in the back is flat and 6 feet, take my money.
I had a 2007 Xterra it got me through college sold it with 80k miles back in 2014.
It's nice looking, but I think they should include the signature hump on the roof on the x-terra.
...and the rear door handles
My perfect Xterra would be a hybrid with 300hp 300lbs of torque, 30mpg average, 0-60 in 6 seconds, off-road like mad maxx and cost $40k or less. Easy
Xterra was always my favorite!
First car was a 99 Xterra and i would kill for another!
I have 3. 2006, 2011 Pro 4X, 2012. Built for the Arizona mountains. Would love to have one less than 10 years old.
I currently drive a stock 2010 off road model and love it
I loved my 2008 xterra Off-Road.
Yes I would buy another Xterra...as long as it is frame based, solid rear axle and NOT A HYBRID.
I like your visulization of a new Xterra. I do think it should continue the "statium roofline of the original".
The Xterra was pretty small
@@jeffk464 not compared to my 2dr JK, the Xterra felt bigger.
If it looked like this at the right price huge seller
I would try a new Xterra if they brought it back
The cargo space needs to be bigger than in the Xterra.
