The roughness is on purpose. The edges however needs a lil sandpaper. But this is a great knife. I own 7 Kizers. Great product and the price point is amazing. This is a great knife. Jipping and size and great. And watch out. It's sharp af! One of those "Oh, did I just... oh yeah I cut myself." I stropped it out of the box. This is a knife to own!
My green version has sharpish edges but the flats aren’t sharp at all, just well textured. I get the exact hotspot from the clip too if I’m not in the choke up position. Love the hollow grid too. It’s my daily carry and not changing anytime soon.
The handles are what's holding me back. Some say the ergos are great (I love the shape), and others dislike the 'roughness'. The lack of jimping is also a missed opportunity. I'm probably going with Civivi mini-Praxis because of Kizer's mistakes on this one...and I'm a Kizer fan.
This "mini" is more in-line with the Towser S than the Mini-October and Mini-Sheepdog (I couldn't put the mini-roach in the same box as the later two, ha ha). I love my Olive Green Mini Roach. BTW it has a hollow grid instead of the flat grind in the other two. Cheers!!

If you haven't decided yet, it really is a nice knife. I think they've started beveling the edge of the G10. Mine does not feel rough.

It's funny. Your version does not seem to have jimping. I received mine last monday and there is jimping on it🤔 Maybe they upgrade🤞👍🏻
Why do manufactures do that, That knife would be a perfect 10 if they jimped the spine!

@@Aa-ron22 mine isn't jimped but the scales aren't rough around the sides. I suspect they iterate and the product gets better over time.
