Hit the nail on the review mate, SRP reissue gotta be the best reissue Seiko has done in years. And I am lucky to have a old srp777J and no doubt I will be hunting down a good 6309. Love your channel keep them coming❤
Thanks so much! Finding an “honest” 6309 is a challenge and getting a bit pricey. Thankfully there’s lots of excellent content online about this model.
I love the Turtle line. Would have half a dozen if I could affort it. I have a King Turtle for almost 2 years now. Probably will keep it for the rest of my life.
Awesome! They really are great watches and represent what Seiko is really good at. Try to find a good condition vintage one, those have so much character!
I literally scooped one up from 1977. Everything appears to be correct. Sloped bezel, 6 position slightly above the Japan 6309 markings, hands look weathered and original, not a lot of lumee sadly, but for over 45 years old. Incredible find. The level of “patina” is SAUCEY. Some scratches on the crystal, weathered hands, faded bezel. I wish I could know who owned it before me. Why they sold it. Where it’s been.
Love the 6309 & rarer 6306 when i 1st saw them in the 80s. Glad that Seiko has reissued this iconic watch in various color schemes & combination. The legend stays alive.
would u mind to share ur wrist size? I've a small wrist around 6 and 3/4 inch and am afraid that this watch might be larger for me. BTW this watch is great
You mean SSK? I’d say SSK, just because I don’t have one and want to check it out. It depends on what you already have…for a one and done I’d go SRP…more classic styling and not so colorful and gimmicky looking.

Very much appreciate your comment. A 6306 Sucubapro would be a potential exit vintage Seiko. We can dream…
@@soundsoserious wow that is extremely rare….i bet a well maintained scubapro 6306 can fetch a substantial amount….yes we can dream on. Haha.
Love your video. Been trying to find one but it seems pretty hard these days.
Thank you. This is one of those watches that is so good that people tend to keep them. Keep looking!
@@soundsoserious Yes I guess you're right. I have been looking on Ebay and Amazon, not sure if that is the right place.
Nice review!
Thank u very much! 🥰

I think it will fit you well! It’s very compact on the wrist and more square in dimensions. My wrist is 6.25 inch.
Big dilemma : SRP or SKS for roughly same price ?

@@soundsoserious Oh sorry : SKX
Ah…I’d go SKX in that fight I think. Size and style are basically perfect to my eye. Shoulda held onto the several I’ve had over the years. Sigh.
Love my turtle and I really like the nato strap you use. Where can I find it?
Lots of options on Amazon!
..not a NATO ,its a ZULU !
What is the colour identity of the Zulu?..by the way, that is not the best/correct way to wear a Zulu strap !
This is FDE in color. Not the best way????
@@soundsoserious what’s FDE?
@@soundsoserious ua-cam.com/video/EaKyBTcGIUQ/v-deo.htmlsi=fXUFjm88Uc_K4KPw
Why do you think it has 2 extra rings ?!
May I know where to buy the strap?
Look up “artstyle” on Amazon.
@@soundsoserious thank you bro.✔️
