Hi Susanne, my name is Monique. I am an elderly French Christian lady from Australia. I went out from JWs in 1993. I lost my son and his family in it. I went in Christian churches since then and struggled with the Trinity for all theses years. Since June this year I left the Christian church I was going to and the Trinity, looking to find the truth about God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I am watching a lot of videos on UA-cam with 21st Century Reformation, Biblical Unitarian, and Unitarian Christian Alliance. I am convinced that I have finally found the truth about God and His Son. I came across your video this morning and I thank you so much for your teaching. I am so grateful. Continue your excellent teaching and may Yahweh bless you and your ministry. 🙏

Aw, thank you so much. I am glad you have found this wonderful association of people globally who love Yahweh and his Son!

Great to hear, Monique. You are now no longer mystified and confounded by the doctrine of the trinity, and can now explain God to others in a rational and more compelling fashion.
One cannot be convicted of something that they don't understand - you have been released from the bondage of the convoluted and ignoble doctrine of the trinity.
      Welcome sister.

Great presentation Susanne! Really enjoyed this presentation. Very creative argument for Unitarianism.

This was a clear and sensible presentation that really outshone the men at the conference from what I've seen thus far. Come on, gentlemen, raise the bar!

Brilliant and down-to-earth presentation - no esoteric knowledge required, no mysteries, no appeal to human fallibility, etc...
God is one in all aspects of His ontology, being, and essence - even when He's anthropomorphized in the Bible.

Thank you. Makes you wonder what being made in God's image and likeness in the sense of Gen 5:3 (which must be referring to physical appearance and not sonship/rulership issues) would/should be if God were triune. We would need 3 heads or 3 selves inside our bodies or 3 cojoined bodies. When we think of something like the latter, it repulses us instead of delights. Right?

    • @dboulos7
      @dboulos7 25 днів тому

@@CSLakin Yes, of course - not only repulses, but utterly confounds to the point of being inexplicable, inapplicable, and unfathomable.
And this is the perverse impression that they have of God - no glory whatsoever in the doctrine of the trinity, but on the contrary rather, nothing but absurdities that lead to defamation and derision.
Thank you again for your rather astute and original presentation.

Agree! If you ready and study the OT using a hebrew lexicon, theres no way you can go away believing in the trinity.

Who came with the two angels to Abraham when he fed them milk and meat and curds? He bowed his face to the ground and the Angel in the middle didn't rebuke him for worshipping Him. That is a theophany, if not a Christophany.
We can see the Trinity doctrine in the Exodus from Egypt when God was in the pillar of smoke, and He was in the Tabernacle and He was in the effulgence emanating from the Mercy Seat up to heaven.
God's triune nature is revealed in the first chapter of Genesis.
    Psalm 110:1
The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at My right hand, until I make Thine enemies Thy footstool.
    Psalm 2:3-12
Let us break Their bands asunder, and cast away Their cords from us. He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall He speak unto them in His wrath, and vex them in His sore displeasure. Yet have I set My King upon My holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art My Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of Me, and I shall give you the heathen for Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve Yahweh with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him.

Once you understand the Jewish Principle of Agency and apply it to the Old Testament then you will understand their perspective and you’ll know the answer to your questions. Without understanding this concept it is impossible.
Here is a video about the Jewish Principle of Agency as found in John:

Hey Frank, I see nothing in the material you provided that implies either by inference or implicitly that God exists as a triune of equal cosubstantial "persons." We need to be careful to not read into Scripture what we want but instead take all in context and in harmony with the whole of Scripture. If you study, you'll see that many people are bowed to in honor and respect, which is what Abraham was doing in Gen 18. How exactly is God's triune nature "revealed" in Genesis 1? He is a singular self in dealing with Adam and Cain. God (singular) created (bara) all the creation in chapter 1. Isaiah tells that he alone created all that, and no one else. And Psalm 2 and 110 speak of his son, a subordinate, to whom he gives possession of the nations. If Jesus were already/always God himself, he wouldn't need to be given anything.

Frank, what you think you see, and what is actually present in Scripture are entirely two very different things. Nowhere within the verses that you cited does it say 'trinity', 'god-the-son' , or anything remotely trinitarian - you performed the epitome of eisegesis on those texts.
What's worse, is that you can't even explain anything that you've attempted to conclude - what's a god-man (2 entirely incompatible ontologies), how can 3 YHWHs be only 1 YHWH, etc...?
