Taking apart car parts is more fun than actually fixing the car

Never cut towards your hand and never hit a hammer with another hammer! Geezers got 2 eyes and 10 fingers though so fair play!!

  • @wisemanmukwena3462

Like it's always that easy. These things can get stuck real bad.

  • @garygardner6536

I was always taught don't cut towards yourself, I usually remember this after I cut myself.

  • @billydankert1764

Hitting a hammer with a hammer is very bad thing to do ! Your going to say I do this all the time ! Give it time you can still get a seeing eye dog !

  • @honda4185

HAHA first he put the cv joint upwards then they cut that part away and put it downwards.. Great job 😂 U don't have to take it out from the car..just knock it off when it's still on the car!

I used to do that on the car you don't need to take it out completely if you're just renewing the outer CV joint

There is nothing as difficult as removing that axle head, the circlip ones are more difficult. 😅

  • @diameadozen

Awesome fast must be flat rate thats how I roll

  • @seriksson9721

I would have brought the damask down towards the other, then you wouldn't have had to cut it.

  • @kelsycunningham8452

I'm sure he engaged his safety squint.

  • @edbrandt8972

having the correct tools and workbench makes things easier.

The point here is don’t let this guy work on your car.

Been battling for ages to get off & finally resorting to angle grinding the last remaining piece. The use of 2 hammers is the perfect solution THANK YOU

  • @tymhewett5334

Let's smash those threads into the concrete. Nice.

JUST GREAT !. We battled for ages hitting with one large hammer eventually having to angle grind the last knuckle off. Ended up damaging the good INNER CV on the other side of the shaft which then also had to be replaced. EXCELLENT METHOD.

If you do this with a Renault, you almost break the hammer and the CV doesn't get out lol.

  • @daveytn

People using these fucking air powered stretchers to do a cv boot, this is exactly what sets apart a mechanic from a fitter.
