- This video shows the Class III direct composite anterior restoration performed by Dr. manauta using the anterior matrix Unica anterior. In this case, Dr Manauta proceeds with buiding the mesial marginal wall first. The contoured shape of Unica anterior allows to reconstruct the margins in an anatomical way. The doctor also fixes Unica anterior with myWedge to the distal margin and myCustom resin (flowable) to the mesial one.
This method allow to carefully hold the matrix in place without collapsing it into the cavity.

Yes, but what about tight contact points? This is ideal for the emergence profile gingivally and the contour but it doesn't seem to overcome the width of the matrix without wedging

The front teeth restoration that is done to fix the deep bite, the back teeth dont touch right ? Isnt that really uncomfortable and doesnt it put more pressure on the front teeth making them prone to breaking?
He did an awesome job. I'm gonna try this at home with West Systems fast chemical cure epoxy with white pigment. Some aluminum foil and my Dremal tool; what could go wrong? He didn't say "Don't try this at home".

It doesn't. It depends on the person's lifestyle (if they drink a lot of coffee/cocacola/drinks that stain the teeth) it can last decades but not forever

Do not use water. That would be very bad for the bond. If you want to use a wetting agent, I would recommend something like the "Modeling Liquid" made by GC

Yes. I broke a tooth while having braces on. They did this procedure. I went back to the ortho & they just put another bracket right back on it. You’re also going to need a crown after you get your braces off.
Yes. In my case the bracket didn’t affect it at all.
