In Michigan, people occasionally catch the Seforellen browns that are stocked in the Apostle Islands area. It's quite the field trip for them to travel past the Keweenaw Peninsula, always makes me wonder what's going through their mind. Awesome video, I'm infinitely jealous!
That was a great day on the water. I've fished Superior many times without seeing that much action. My guess, for those who are wondering, is that this is the Thunder Bay area. All those points and islands.
Amazing video! Certainly a very effective technique. So if the fish are in shallow water, and the first spot was a dud why not use side imaging to first locate the fish before setting lines? Then once located on the Humminbird, why not cast to them as is done with walleyes? If you could do such a trout video that would be cool.
Sometims we do cast to them. But trout do not set up as thick as walleyes or crappies. 99% of the times trolling is more effective. Plus we are fishing big rocky flats. Which makes side imagine impossible to see fish.
Tom is Shelby your wife I was just wondering if you and Shelby where married I haven’t seen where you have said in any of your videos unless I missed it but you two get along pretty good and if you are married it’s nice to have your wife doing the things you like and you. Both do a very great job keep it up very informative a lot of help for a lot of fishermen out. There thanks so much
Is there anything to catch from canal park to say knife river near shore from june-august? Don’t really care about size or numbers just want to tool around in my smaller boat on a nice day
Its funny when I run 6 lines I almost never tangle. Going to 8 10 or 12 rods we get tangled sometimes. Trout are the worst for tangling stuff. I just kinda accept the occasional tangle
I'm used to using a mast and clips but I assume he does the same thing... The outside lines are out further so as it swings around to the chute it goes behind the other ones. And you're going to tangle sometimes
Way to go! Thanks for no help with lures types and depths. It’s a heavy fished lake! Almost no fish left in it? Stupid waste of time. Are you from Fargo?

What kind of rod holders do you use? I’ve bought some of the stuff you use and noticed your taste in equipment and fishing gear is always on point 👍

Brrrrrrrrrrrr...living near Duluth this makes me cold watching and jealous I wasn’t there.
I've found it more challenging to catch them from the couch
Tom Boley in my ice house I can catch them from a warm couch tho lol. Nice fish.
That is awesome action. I'm in the market for a new net. What do you look for in nets and what would you recommend?
Something that looks like it wont break.
I like my beckman....all metal.

Yes, Cohos, rainbows and lakers.
You don’t ever get tangled not reeeling in your inside lines?

Yeah what he said...are using mostly scatter raps?
Correct. Biggest problems are generally if you get hit on a turn or if it's a small fish or if a fish runs sideways or towards the boat
I am from Vancouver bc is this in the Thunder Bay Ontario area ?
I wish I could do this stuff. Too Poor :(
Is this out of Duluth or Ashland/Washburn area?
That would be a looooong boat ride from Duluth.
And if it was Washburn/ Ashland area everybody and their brother would be there.
