It’s a blast catching those coho through the ice if that bay freezes over. Thanks for the tip on fishing it shallow in the early spring.

We've fished coho through the ice one time and it was a lot of fun.

Thanks for visiting the UP! If you make it back to the same area this fall or again next spring let me know. The IDO fishing team always has free lodging in the Central UP!

dude those are babies.. come to Lake Ontario catch some decent 10-15 lb browns and cohos at this time of the year no problem

Set all the lines.. We have a 10 incher bite! Reel in 4 lines take off the boards.. This looks like the most tedious way to catch fish. You could've hit up one of the thousands of trout streams in MN??

When does the season open for everyone. Southern saskatchewan starts Friday. Always get 20lb plus pikes first week.

I'd be nervous fishing out if such a flashy boat around here. Piracy is a real threat on the south shore. I wouldn't come back, if I were you.

I enjoy your shows, but music is way overdone in so many outdoor shows anymore. The fishing segments, where you cut the music, are much more enjoyable than the one's you have music playing, muddying up the background with noise.

Nice! To be honest I would've rather seen spring Crappie but it was still a nice switch. How about sending a loyal fan one of those Okuma hoodies? 👍

I'm glad you didn't flat out say where you were, but it's not too hard to figure out where you were based on the scenery and your explanation of what to look for on the south shore. Also, they aren't THAT plentiful so please listen to the previous comments and go fish for walleye.

    I'd rather watch walleye fishing
