Great Great video!! Please please try a boga type grip! You will love it! Much safer for the fish than putting your hand in the gills. Easy to support the fish with other hand under the belly. Great for photos and release. Again thank you for the great video.
Epic size Laker at 18:17 , congrats.... bad ass to even get out on the water , they created some dumb BS in my state select people have not been able to get out fishing let alone outside of the town....So this is so much better, maybe they will let people fish and and other stuff been couple years now .. we keep are hopes up as we survive another day !! no BS
I don't like fishing lake trout any deeper than 100ft. Some people know how to release them properly (I'm not one of them) but it makes me sick seeing a big old laker floating belly up dead, belly so fat it looks like it's ready to explode. I just hope people that choose to fish them real deep know how to release them properly. Those real old ones take a long time to replace.
Yo this video was crazy!! You guys should definitely be getting more views, you just have to play the youtube algorithm though. With that double giant lake trout catch, you have to at least title the video that, and use capital letters and stuff to get people's attention. I would research how to use the youtube algorithm because I would like to see your channel grow and keep watching these videos
@@MatthewDessormeau Yes, It is a Northern @ 39 inches. It was flipping on a Boga grip and had just hit me in the crotch. My Girlfriend got a 43 incher about 4 hours before I caught that one. Both released. Red Lake several years ago.
I’ve been out 3 times for Lakers downrigging this month and zip. I’m thinking the cannon ball is alerting the fish negatively as it is a small lake max 95 ft. Your video has converted me to get on jigging drifting . I’m subscribed.thanks 👍🏻
wow, what a great video; i emailed it to my first mate, i just watched the siscowet video! now this, it's an incredible bunch of video; keep up the good work, what model is your boat?
Good job! I like the fact that you are releasing the catch. Do you know if its safe to eat fish out of Duluth after all the tailings pollution in past years?
Awesome vid off of Chicago in the fall and early winter I use 1 oz jigs and white tubes for Lakers we fish 30 to 40 ft of water. What about using a 1 oz mega bass dark sleeper for Lakers it looks just like a goby
Agreed. These guys are 100% class. No clickbait titles, and no extra flashy fluff. Just dedication, curiosity, high quality editing, and a no nonsense approach to finding and catching big fish.
Glad to see people release big fish like that. These Lake Superior Trout that are that big and very old.
Dang !! 2 at one time that’s fishin guys !! Great Job !! Be looking for more Laker action!
We will keep the trout action coming!!
That Primer rod is a great rod for the price .
Great video and love those lake trout, unbelievably delicious
18:05 What a fish!!! 😃

Awesome fishing!
Jigging is my favorite type of fishing peaceful usually. let's you enjoy the landscape and think about life. Spot lock is a must that's for sure
now that's an epic trip!
I've always wanted to jig for them in deep open cold water. Loved the video.
This double in real deep water was probably one of the most realistic clips from YT I have ever viewed. The mount would be incredible.
Nice fish as always guys and you show us exactly how to do it can't wait to get on the big lake but the crappies are shallow now too

Awesome catches I do a bit of what your doing myself!
Hey ! I was curious what reels you prefer for jigging and what you prefer for trolling???? You should do a gear talk video !
Great laker love your videos. What was the length and girth of the big one??
I am soooooo jealous. Congrats on getting some real toads.
Thanks for watching!! Yes those were some great fish!
Looks like you got a beast also in the pic....Northern ?

Check your trolling speeds and distance your putting your lures behind the ball. Dont troll straight lines make S turns alot.
i need to get my wife to watch this, she wonders why i need SO MANY fishing poles? specialty rods.

2021 COOLEST VIDEO OF THE YEAR!
Great show! Question, what's your go to troll speed for lakers and salmon?
2.2-2.4 can never go wrong
@@SuperiorAngling Thanks dude!
Wtf that's amazing two Lakers wow
Lake superior is fun I generally fish 180 to 450, I've noticed the giants like to hang out around 300 in my area
What net is that?
Did you wrap it in ape?
Good job! I like the fact that you are releasing the catch. Do you know if its safe to eat fish out of Duluth after all the tailings pollution in past years?
Looks like standard fish or maybe shoul.👍
Hey bud honest question, Minnesotan or Canadian?
Do you find Jigging more effective than trolling?
how old do you figure some of those slabs would be?
a lot of people don't realize that Lake Superior is a fish factory.
Like an ocean
Nice to see Josh left you his horseshoe for a change 😂
Josh? Josh who?
@@SuperiorAngling guy gets locked down and the boys forget who he is 😅

@@tercelfish00 Appreciate the kind words man!
Appreciate the comment Chuck! Thanks for watching!
That looked closer to 40 lbs
It was a big fish none the less!
Crazzyyyy fishing. Unreal video. Surprised you guys hold big fish like that vertical without supporting their belky, thumbs down for that
Why are you always out of breath ?
Thats what happens when you sit in a boat all day and don't workout
holds fish and talks for 15min....
skip to 11 min if you want to skip the boring crap
Wow!
