I'm blown away by the young guitarists on Instagram and TikTok whose speed is ridiculous, but I think there's a case to be made that Andy has not only the best tone, feel, touch and phrasing, but also the most soul of any guitarist on Earth today.
Extraordinary and so much Love, Spirit and Beauty ❤ Your Spark Blows Me To Pieces, Mr. Andy Timmons, with Respect ❤ Your Musical Spark AKA Your Spark Blows Me To Piece’s Penned By Chris Buck, Your Spark❤
This is like watching a ballerina dance across the fretboard under the guidance of Jeff beck. You just have to watch out for the goosebumps!! Simply beautiful.
It touches my soul deeply... There's so much feeling in your paying. It's powerful! You're a master Andy, and your talent, your music, they are a gift to us!
First saw him in '87 in Dallas, Tx... I knew then he was special...since then, and until now, I've always said that he is the most underrated guitarist ever..except to the pros, like me, we know.
Why do I love seeing you playing a Fender SO much? It’s perfect, such a balanced song soothing yet energetic. What a journey, thanks for letting us tag along.
People have said it before Andy, it is so true you never play wasted or unnecessary notes, everything you play has a purpose! I’ve never heard a guitarist like you, the Guitar is truly an extension of your soul……….Beautiful 🎸🙏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Been a fan since the nineties, when you scorched the strings … that was then! Oh, how you have evolved into perfection on the fretboard … this is now! Take a bow, mate!
First time to listen to this instrumental, great flawless performance as usual. Also first time to see Andy playing a Fender strat, it is usually his signature Ibanez strat.
@@andytimmonsguitar Soulful, genuine, melodically divine, and more important than anything else 'honest' musical expression. Please never change Mr Andy Timmons.
@@andytimmonsguitar 65th LIke to this comment! (I was born in 1965) ..oh don't tell Andy! This tunes, sound. tone and style sounds more "Andy T" to me, with the strat. Then the "games-of-throne-ish" commercial sounding Take Me With You tune, with the Ibanez! ;)
When Words Fail.... to describe my feelings about this album. God bless you man , this album is amazing , full of feelings and I'm living with it . Good Job
I'm going through a particularly tough period in my life, but every time I come back to this video it soothes me. Thank you so much for your incredible music.
He will be in Lubbock, TX, this Saturday October 8th, at the Buddy Holly Hall, and I can’t wait to see him perform live. My son shared his music with me when he was in high school and I’ve loved listening to his amazing guitar talent ever since. He is magical with guitars.
One of the Geniuses of this world, of course. Andy fans certainly know this, but I recommend the Simon Phillips Protocol II and III with Andy Timmons. Wonder.
Mr Timmons is one of those rare guitar players who can seemingly do it all. Everything that he plays is so tasteful, fluid, and pure. I put him in the same “God tier” (forgive the popular expression) as Guthrie Govan, Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, Steve Lukather, Paul Gilbert, Allan Holdsworth and others of that ilk. This is beautiful playing.
It goes without saying the composition and playing here are sublime. Kudos to the production crew and camera-person - great job capturing this performance!
Mr. Timmons, your guitar playing is amazing. Your sense of melody is a gift. You have combined feeling and knowledge to perfection. Your art is very good to listen to and your guitar virtuosity, lightness and insight are admirable. Brilliantly.
40yrs of playing guitar - and I've only just come across Andy. I know!! I'd heard of him - and then I saw him on That Pedal Show - the one where he makes Dan cry. Ever since, I've been listening to little but Andy, and catching up on podcast interviews etc. My guitar education has gone into a new and very welcome phase 😀
my guitar hero ..no book video or guitar lessons can teach it ,.all true guitarist are searching for it ,.something in the tone and feel ,..not since George Lynch has a guitarist inspired me so much , the inspiration behind my guitar instrumentals on my channel (drew finisher 11),.. young player's out there , study what timmons is doing, dudes on another level 🎸
Not too many instrumentals pull at me emotionally. This, however, is an exception. Such fantastic note choice, feel, and timing. Absolutely love it! Pulls at my old heartstrings, AT! Wes
This has already made my day a little better - thank you for sharing your music! Nice to hear you rockin the white Strat! I swear, I can hear a Blues Driver cooking...lol.
Man, I stll remember your performance in Poland few years back. I had tears in my eyes during your rehersal... Can you imagine what feel now? Thank you. Forever greatfull 🙏
Guitar is maybe the most versatile instrument when you think about it. The amount of sounds and styles you can get out of it. Of course you can have endless sounds on a keyboard, but you can manipulate guitar strings physically in so many ways. Bends, taps, slides, whammy bar, harmonics, pick, fingers, palm-mutes, hammer-ons, pre-bends, legato etc.
I love all of the notes, but, the one at 2:43 really hits the spot! It's a "Beckian" type of note... just perfect to lead into the next statement on the lower notes. Damn, that was good.
To summarize, there are those who play the guitar excellently and those, much fewer, who make music. I always wonder why among all these young talents, who settle for playing in their rooms and only post video demos, very few expose themselves to the stage...
Nicest sounding rock chords on neck pick-ups & only Andy can stay on the neck all day long in between solos n riffs n still sounded tight...crisp , slight break-up & chunky ..& tats Andy & no one else yeahhhh....!
I only got into Andy because of his Guitar World lessons, yet he has been around since the 80s. You can only pay attention to only so much but I missed this guy somehow yet regret it so much. His playing is toneful, tuneful, melodic ,fluid and unmatched unless by Jeff Beck.
I'm blown away by the young guitarists on Instagram and TikTok whose speed is ridiculous, but I think there's a case to be made that Andy has not only the best tone, feel, touch and phrasing, but also the most soul of any guitarist on Earth today.
Andy does it all! ua-cam.com/video/4GLZnw_vVPM/v-deo.html&ab_channel=GuitarXplosion
He’s definitely up there for sure but Derek trucks is king imo.
@@JoeNavy721
I like derek trucks but andy has all around style than him, even kids now days still listening to andy
Play Carpe Diem. Andy smokes those guys too
Nope.
Somehow I'm only seeing this now. Easily one of the best instrumental pieces I've ever heard. 🤘
There are guitar players we all know, but Andy is so lyrical, fluid, musical, natural. Man, can make you tear up just hear him.
He's like Garry more spiritual that's the difference if you ever notice Jimi when he's playing it's very spiritual

This song make me happy and sad at the same time. SO MUCH FEELING, man. BEAUTIFUL song.
Such an awsome tune, Andy puts so much feeling in his guitar solos, he's amazing.
Andy Timmons is one of the few guitarists on Earth that can make a guitar sing! Literally singing!
Bullshit.
Each time I listen to Andy, I'm speechless by how he can tell a story with no words, no lyrics, only is hands and a guitar.
Yes sir...saw him first time in Ft. Worth, TX in 1993 and he was bad ass then an only gotten better with age!...
This.
When words fail MUSIC BEGINS. What a Masterpiece.
Timmons + Strat = 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️
Andy and Joe Satriani - the two know what a great song and melody is.
Along with probably scores of thousands of other musicians.
Andy + Satriani = Lari Basilio
Satriani hasn't made anything worth listening to in a decade or two.
This goes much deeper than Joe...
Joe is great, but... you misspelled Gary Moore
Love that old white Strat!!!!
To my ears, Andy sounds most beautiful in his Fender Strat.
ye totally but ill also give him credit for the insanely beautiful sounds he creates on his ibanez

Andy Timmons is my favorite guitarist. Great tone, melodic, and room to breathe.
Thanks for gifting us, mere mortals with this song Andy.
AT is a master guitarist. The emotion of his compositions is both inspiring and mind- blowing!
One of the guitar god with best tone in the world
God gives us a lovely gift with Andy's music!!!

He’s simply singing through his guitar, just divine as always
Not comparing Andy to Beck, BUT he can phrase and vocalize his guitar with the best of em.
He is one of the few guitarist who can “talk” with his guitar.
Why do I love seeing you playing a Fender SO much? It’s perfect, such a balanced song soothing yet energetic. What a journey, thanks for letting us tag along.
Maybe because Fender Stratocaster is better than Ibanez....
I can't believe how great this playing is....amazing...bravo Andy Timmons...

What a beautiful song. That's how he's different from everyone else - he plays with such emotion and uses that to create a great song.
Whole song is delicious but 2:38 is so intense and 4:09 is magical.
Please come back to Europe, Andy! Couldn't catch you in Italy!
Good health for you

Thanks Chuss! It's a 1965 Strat...I still LOVE my Ibanez guitars...but sometimes a vintage tone is called for ❤🔥❤

It's no more a solo but a singing. Feelings and nothing but feelings. Swinging with clouds under the show of the stars in a fresh warm night.
Andy Timmons is so good. And he's a nice guy. Thanks for the amazing playing and inspiration you have given to the world, Andy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
