I love this scarf Olga. It’s quick, easy, and very pretty. I’ve made several. Your videos are the best I’ve seen. You’re clear and thorough, and a great explainer. Thanks as always.💗💗💗
Hi Paula, oh my goodness, your comment makes my heart melt! Thank you so much! The truth is I do have a passion for teaching. Before the virus I worked as a math tutor and I just love teaching/tutoring.
Hope you feel better soon! It certainly hasn’t effected your ability to create gorgeous patterns for us! Besides a scarf, a shawl, a layering sweater, a poncho like someone else commented....endless possibilities! 💜🙏💜🙏💜
Thank you for sharing this lovely pattern and for your clear, succinct instructions. I have almost completed my scarf, made with a different yarn--a "thick & thin"yarn, so it looks quite different. Will post a picture when finished. Will make another with regular yarn and save your video for future gift making projects. You are kind to share! Much appreciated!
Hi Cynthia, thank you for such kind comment! I'm glad to know my pattern was useful to you! And yes, I'd love to see how it looks in a different yarn! 🤗
@@OlgaPoltava I have finished my scarf. There does not seem to be any link here which would allow me to attach the picture to show you. Sorry. It came out well, though.
Hello Olga! I am thinking about you because I am waiting for your tutorial. When open my cell phone I am happy to see your notification. Very nice pattern and thank you for sharing your design!!👋😘💖🌹😉😍🙏👼👍👌
Hi Georgina, thank you so much for these kind words; they warm my heart, especially now, that it's a chilly October evening and I am sick with a cold. Thank you so much! 🤗 🤗
absolutely beautiful! I have some of this yarn, now I know what to do with it! I can't wait to get started. Thank you very much for sharing this pattern!
This is gorgeous, thank you for sharing! I'm thinking a poncho would be lovely by making a large rectangle and when wide enough to go around, seam it up on the diagonal for an angular poncho! Not sure I described it correctly, but I've made ponchos like this before and they're so pretty! Your tutorials are always easy to understand. Thanks so much!!👍😊
@@OlgaPoltava Hello again, Olga!! I am copying a link to the Remedy Fibers podcast with Jillian. This is her podcast where she took a rectangle shawl and turned it into a poncho. I think your shawl pattern will be so pretty made this way! I'm going to start mine later today! Hope you make one and show it on the podcast!! ua-cam.com/video/4exN-ZOuRdo/v-deo.html

Beautiful pattern, Olga! So glad to see you back. I was wondering you had been. Being sick can be so debilitating. I hope you feel better soon. I love your tutorials. They are simple but yet still challenging. My right wrist is in a cast so It will be a short while. So so Pretty. Get well my friend
For my scarf I started with chain 35 (because 30 is a multiple of 6, plus 5 more chains gives me 35 chains in total). But you can start with any other amount of chains that would be a multiple of 6, plus 5 more chains. For example, 41, 47, 53, 59, etc. I hope this helps!
You explain and demonstrate how to make scarf very well!
Thank you!
Thank you for all the great Lacey pattern tutorials 😊
