Sandy i have Driven mercs in the past. I liked them. But no driven the mirror less ones. Suppose they are good down the highland country lanes where tree branches are always at the height to blooter them 😂.

You need to test a volvo next my own personal choice for a truck would be a scania but if I was a business owner I would have to choose between volvo and Mercedes my local Mercedes dealer is fantastic with servicing and backup
Great demo.....not ever lorry is spect for type of job... Mercs have always been down on power in our game..... But I was impressed with your overall review of that unit. Tobe fare in plant movement you mainly see Scania or Volvo... So ya maybe Merc has made a unit for the job. Just to ask was that a 22t or 30t ex you moved?
never was a fan of the mirrors. but we have the older gen ones and you can basically see nothing in them. we have issues with them when getting to our warehouse if you forget to turn the aids off the trucks basically just stops dead and refuses to move, now the road leading to the warehouse is narrow and usually full of parked cars, but there IS enough space to pass oncoming traffic. basically we all try and make sure we are assigned to the Renaults.
@@andrewmacleod3308 Not for highway haulage, only older restored ones. Mid size city delivery Hinos and Mercs are imported. The class 8 size like Scania would make sense in North America.

Like you say sandy, you could sit down with a good salesmen on the configurator and build a top wagon. Nice to work on nd all the mercs.

Mirror cams took me a month to like them, but i did in the end. There is no back end of any truck that grips like a merc, always had serious traction
