I was there on the main grandstand and I still remember how my ears were ringing for the rest of the day and even still when trying to sleep. Was worth it though! Also that Lotus Esperit had some epic backfires, especially on the down shifts. I don't remember who drove that though.

Would love to know why the E36 wasn’t so competitive in the German and British Championship.
Sure it won a lot of races, but few championships in those two series.
