Can you make a video about the uniforms in the North African campaign
The British Ammo boot was far superior to the US issued service shoe which was designed to be worn for a few months then discarded. The Ammo Boot was really sturdy and hard wearing.
Great video. My Great uncle Norman Wood was killed aged 19, serving in 6th battalion Kings Own Scottish Borderers Kia 04/08/1944.
No MkIII helmets for the KOSB then?
Excellent. Very authentic. KOSB was a fine regiment. Sad that like many others since WW2, it has been amalgamated or disbanded.
