December 2022 just finished installation of the JD 400/4 powering a JL Audio 8 inch compact sub and a pair of 6x9s in the front door ‘I would say this amp balanced the whole sound and I was able to set my stereo full gain with no distortion at full volume No needfor anything else; the clarity and detail of the sound is superb maybe will Chen my new JBL 6x9 for some better quality JL audio components
Hi I have purchased the JD500/1 to power a 10w3v3. I will be running it using speaker level. The issue is the output voltage from my factory speakers goes as high as 12volts at higher volumes and the JD high level input is maxed at 8v. Would this be a problem or would you recommend me getting the LOC22? Many thanks
@@mattdavid3481 would like to get a new head unit but it being a newer Mercedes that’s just a whole loada work and alot to lose in terms of functionality. LOC it is at this point for me I guess.
Jd 400/4 .how would I know if I didn’t burn up my amp .. because I have no sound coming out from the amp.. The blue light power is on and the exclamation red light is on Solid.. But I already disconnect the speaker inputs.. And turn off the amplifier and then turn it on to see if the red light goes away.. But it won't do anything.. Kinda disappointed.. Any help?
Ya but, do they sound as good as a good A/B amp in the same class/price point? Does the 4 ch. JD or RD do clip indicator for both the input and the speaker output? I'm stuck between RF P600/4 and JL JD or RD/4.

@@rayc9838 clipping light is mean u are reach the amp into the limit. then your frequency your signal is dirty and can kill your subwoofer and u can hear a clipping noise come from your subwoofer

Hello, I have HO power wedge 10wv3 and running JD 500/1 amp. Should I lower the amp bass all the way down for a lower deep sound? What is clipping?

My car has factory head unit and has no rca output from so I am having to tap into factory speaker.

Can you tune the jd 1000/1 with a -5 or -10 test tone?

About to purchase a 10w3v3 in the HO power wedge box, powering it with a JD500/1. My poor civic is about to see a new form of abuse!
