This was the car I came in home from the hospital! My parents owned one till 2010, the CR-V according to CarFAX is still on the road with 190k miles. Probably one of the big mistake my parents made was selling it.

CR-V = Compact Recreational Vehicle. RAV4 = Recreational Activity Vehicle with 4 Wheel Drive. Great review. I played the video through a Roland KC Amplifier and picked up a fair bit of road noise. Was that the real life case for you? I know that road noise has been a problem for CRVs of this vintage (and the equivalent RAV4s didn't fair any better).
Good (Saturday) morning, Nathan. I have the same color 2003 CR-V with A/T. I understand Honda changed to a 5-speed A/T for 2005 & 2006 model years, but had some problems. Your fuel economy is better than mine...20/24. Have you experienced any problems with your transmission? Mine seemes pretty good at 162K but I'm feeling a sort of pulsing that my local Honda dealership concluded was a worn drive shaft, common to this 2nd gen CR-V. Any such behavior with yours? Thanks so much Nathan!
Always makes me laugh, how these CRV's look so clean in the NE. That plastic and rubber looks new.... HOW? 27 for fwy is false - more like 24. City - not so good. Still a great car if they only put a better engine in it.

I wouldn't say they are as quiet as an RX Lexus, but not terrible at all. I'm sure the amplifier makes the smallest sounds more noticeable....
