Fantastic concept. You can start with one and add on more, as the family grows. Finally, when the children grow up and say that they want to leave and stay on their own. You can say, "Sure, just take one of these with you...." 🤣🤣🤣
My wife and I are on order for something like this for our mountain property. The shipping costs to the US sort of suck and people think they're crappy but honestly for a rental or small vacation home they're fun. We get ours delivered on top of a mountain spring 2025 lol.
@@flying_oyster A lot, you pay for shipping to a local port then hire a local company for the actual delivery. For us we are east coast so port delivery wasn't bad but delivery to house pad is a nightmare due to the location. Overall cost very close to the cost of the house.
@Tanner So 86k is still cheaper than capsule type homes made in the U.S. Shelby Church did review on one at her youtube channel. It was like $125k. How did you get plumbing, water, and electricity hooked up? That would add to cost too. Did you buy plot of land months in advance?
I'd honestly live in one. They look quite fun and neat to live in, especially in beautiful areas ~ I'd just need a space for my desktop and gaming rig. xD
The 'japanese' toilet @ 6:20 is most likely Chinese made. Presently China is producing advanced and high tech toilets. (Because I am Lizzy has a smart toilet in her apt that is so advanced, she is still trying to decipher all the buttons.)

Direct application of space tech for a wider civilian use. Also for sleeping pods in international airports for layover passengers transiting to third countries and beyond
Lmfao we’re really living in the future with this one. Some people would call that a mobile home or a trailer but you know what they say. It is what it is🤫🤣🤣🤣
These are better on a solid footing or solid piece of concrete you could even do it with stonework and do a lot of magnificent Landscaping in stonework
Insulation is PU, Polyurethane. PU decomposes after 7 years by itself (see some PU shoesoles decomposing). Floor is wood. So expect some wood rot or mold. Frame is galvanised piping. How prone to rust that is in wet climates I have no idea. But it is fairly rust resistant in dry hott conditions. Outside floor and roof are aluminum sheeting. Inside Walls are compressed fibre-aluminum-bamboo-charcoal sheeting. And outside walls are glass housed in aluminum, then followed by some wood plank sheet (prone to rot), then the PU insulation (decomposes within 7 years by itself) and then comes the interior panel which is the interior wall an composition of aluminum-bamboo-charcoal as they state in their webpage. I do not want bamboo wood and charcoal. Same for the roof: Outside aluminum and glass, then PU insulation then the inner ceiling made of bamboo-aluminum-charcoal composite. No Azdel as in american builds where Azdel should be vastly superior to this chines composite of organic potential rott. Galvanised piping is by far the cheapest they could find - I would prefer aluminum. Windows are aluminum framed (at least something positive). They drill with wood screws into the galvanised piping, so the hole will oxidise and the threads rust out and the screw will fall out. I would prefer stainless steel although low grade. The bigger houses cost just below 50.000 USD, the middle size below 40.000$. These are sandwich builds so no repairable - as repairable as your iPhone. Good luck if it leaks. Gotta rip apart the entire wall, unscrew everything and drill in new holes. An nightmare I can imagine.
$43000 for this plastic home that maybe last u 10years or less.. and don't forget that u still have land cost.. prob worked out to be the same as u paying rent end of the day.
Exactly. Came here to make the same comment. Would be interested to see how much the shipping is. Then you have to pay site fees, connections to utilities, etc. I suspect it would be over $100k by the time it's finished plus the cost of the land
You seem to be forgetting few "simple things": (i) drinking water, (ii) sewage water discharge, collection and processing, (iii) gas, (iv) internet hookup (v) electricity hookup during long, overcast wintry months when solar cells are insufficient - and! - paying for the hookups, maintenance and repairs, and the monthly fees for water, this, that,... Going to get some groceries? (I) Pay a lot for delivery or (ii) jump into your vehicles and drive 10, 20,.. miles to get every single item. Grow up, boys!
which one was your favorite? and where would you put your personal space capsule?
These are actually commercially available? I'd love to have one shipped to California.

My god these are amazing, the first and last ones were definitely the best. People could just straight up live in these places!!

HAHA right! ill cover the flat bed you cover the land... and you get the house.
Amazing
Only if land was affordable. After buying these pods, one still has to rent land from the gov. Very close to neighbours like trailer parks.
Saw one of these in front of the 4411 Inn & Suites on US 12 Michigan City, Indiana. Now I know what it is!
COOL!

Great way to solve housing shortage problem!
Also used for tourism purposes as an alternative to building hotels, hostels and lodging houses
The best thing about these space capsules is their price, $36,800 - so affordable.
HI , YOU KNOW IT
For myself and Matt (My Matt) it would be cool they are reasonably priced and have almost everything in them. I think they are a really good idea 👍
With kids not being able to afford their own place these days, this is good to give everyone their own privacy.
Fun video, and yes I still think these are a great idea for a cheap way to live.. just buy a plot of land and put this there 💡💡
thank you, the first one is nice.
Yes someone shedding light I been waiting for this I like it lot 😂
they are cool you can actually customize them with less windows and more walls in colder climates.
There are a few in Thailand

yea i think so... imagine making this totally sustainable... you just need a water source and pump.
Mobile capsule home look pretty cool ❤❤❤.
Are you able to buy more than one and extend it?
Those houses are perfect weapons against the way too overpriced shoeboxes from the boomers and realtors.
This capsule home is a good idea for accommodating athletes for the Olympics or other sporting events.
How do we get this in the USA?
Information?? Where do I buy?
The camera work was dizzying. It was hard to get a sense of what the interior looked like.
Send a few of those space home capsules to the Moon in the coming years.

Good value. They should ship them to North America to help with homeless.
I'm jealous....🙄😁😏
This actually looks so cool wondering how it cost to buy + installation fee?
you must meet Ms Allumulammu ...superstar
Can probably drop one in the ground, act as a bunker.
Buy the small one and take it to Burning Man. 😂
