- The Russian President has ordered the abduction tens of thousands of Ukrainian children. Some have been adopted by Russian families; some are held in camps scattered all over Russia. The idea is to make them Russian - or use them as leverage against their home country. A few mothers have managed to take their kids back from Putin, but most are unlikely to return anytime soon.

I find it funny how Europeans dnt have anger and disgust at things like state-sponsored child abduction by gov. from their families in countries like Norway.
If they are kept in russification camps, they will be grown into meat for the next war in 20 yesrs. If not, they will be returned to their families, but only when they are russified, so then the federation can claim that russia ends where russian is not heard.

Even if some of these abducted children will manage to escape Russia, I imagine that many will be deeply traumatized. So much harm is being inflicted on Putin's victims right now. When this is all over, an international tribunal needs to look into things like accountability, reparations, and reconstruction, perhaps similar to the Nuremberg Trials or the post-Apartheid Truth & Reconciliation Committee.
Burn Moscow to the ground, salt the earth, leave no two stones touching.When Russia is defeated so utterly that they will know for a hundred generations that they were fools to think they could get away with such crimes against humanity when their forces were so weak, it will make every dictator that follows think twice.
If they ever escape the russification camps, they will already be too damaged. They are being indocrinated and russified. They are taught to worship Z and Putin, to handle Kalashnikovs and to hate on their dead parents killed by russian bombs or executions.
They are indoctrinated to become Russian. You cannot reverse indoctrination without using indoctrination.
Perhaps there are honorable and brave people inside Russia who will organize an underground network (Kindertransport) to secretly rescue some of the kids so they can be reunited with their relatives. Or at least track these kids and document their whereabouts and their new names and identities.
I am sure that in long term Russia will pay for this because messing around with children is one of the worst crime world wide....
Russia needs to give those children back. And while they're at it stop attacking Ukraine too.

@@jimflagg4009 when saigon fell people thought to be pro USA or South were lined up in the streets and executed. Many people ran to the docks and helicopter pads. There's footage of quite a few families who gave their kids to US troops begging them to save their kids from the slaughter.
The kids however were returned to parents that survived, allowed to learn their country's history and language. Unlike what russia is doing 🙄

Its time to rethink this. We as the west should stop saying "How not to provoce Putin?" and start saying "Lets dare him to provoce US as the west!" ... Poland alone could be in Moscow within a few months - add frence and the rest of the EU ... its weeks. Add the rest of NATO - days.

They probably never had a tenth of what they claimed, the ones they do have probably never worked, and those that remain are no doubt as rusty as their tanks and ships with initiating charges that have degraded to uselessness because they were never replaced. We have missile interception systems, they don't. We have weapons that actually work and our stealth aircraft could fly right into Moscow without them ever knowing it until it is too late.
We can march to what's left of Moscow after we level their cities and destroy all their bases so they can never threaten anyone again.

Surprised how few heartbroken parents you were able to find, whose children will never return. Of course, border logistics will be a mess with suspicions on all sides - I fully support Ukraine🇺🇦 but every time I research this story it seems like a propagandized set of assertions. (And, of course, various Russians in charge will influence the children with "You're part of Russia now" tales)
