Watching from the State of Rhode Island-.-great profile Mika-the contributions that border countries like Poland and Germany have made to help the Ukrainian refugees have been as impressive as Putin's military has been ruthless-and among other things-helps to restore the faith in humanity that can all too easily be undermined by Russia's brutality. Praise to CARES Poland!

Faith in humanity? The Ukrainian soldiers/people are being used as cannon fodder in a proxy war against Russia.
Russia is not the villain. The conflict was provoked by western interests, going back to the coup that took place in 2014. A corrupt, puppet regime was installed which began to direct its military forces against people who lived in eastern Ukraine -- Ethnic cleansing crimes. Then, when talk of joining NATO increased, it was the last straw.
imagine working your whole life only to have it all taken away by an invading army. It's so crazy that the US Congress has turned its back on these people.

I am American, and I am taking this kind of Integration course with many Ukrainians in Germany after working here for 4 years an losing my job do to a site closure. To have to look these brave people in the eye every morning while our so called "Speaker of the House" is playing games with the lives of brave Ukrainians on the front line is the greatest embarrassment and shame of my life as an American. Mr Johnson..... Use your imagination and fill in the blanks for what I would like to say next.

But since then, the US says assurances aren't guarantees, which is why they won't get involved directly. That's why you're lending them aid... which is supposed to be paid back.
