- Established in 1965, The Cambridge Folk Festival is an annual summer music festival held in Cherry Hinton, England (a village part of the city of Cambridge) on the site of Cherry Hinton Hall. The festival is known for its eclectic mix of music.
In Spring 1999, James embarked on a European Tour which included stops in several countries including Germany, France, Italy, Norway, Ireland. On August 1, 1999 he appeared at The Cambridge Folk Festival. "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)" appeared on his Gorilla album in 1975.
